Bills 2017 Draft - It Might Be Really Good
Phil The Thrill replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he’s very average and Zay in the 2nd round is looking like a little bit of a reach. Do you think they could get a second back for him in 2019? -
Just had a Great Conversation with Jim Kelly

Hopefully she knows Commandments 1, 2, and 3 from the Chris Brown school of Bills jounalism. Thou shalt never report negative Bills news Thou shalt never criticize a Bills player, coach, or front office member Thou shalt never report a breaking news story if it makes the Bills look bad In all fairness this reporter looks to be excited. Good for her -
Really love this move. Only question is will the rest of the Bills Front Office have his back when he eventually brawls with Bill O’Brien?

He’s more of a camp body until Sirles gets healthy. Issac has an uphill battle trying to make the team as a guard on the roster

Which is why I said after 1 season I give Darnold the edge over Allen but I can agree that Josh has more upside. Also so as I stated above, I think I was wrong about Crowder, and yes I give the nod to Beasley. But the rest I stand by. I think it’s clear that Bell is better than Shady. Anderson is better than Foster...way better than Zay Jones.

I was listening to One Bills Live that had an interview with Greg Cosell Of NFL Films. He starts by evaluating Josh Allen’s film and Greg makes it sound like he’s a long way from being a good QB. But the more interesting question came when Good Ol’ John Murphy asked Greg point blank - Who is better, The Jets or the Bills? Ironically Greg danced around the question and wouldn’t answer it. He said it hard to say and think the Jets could have the better offense and the Bills could have the better defense. He thinks that the Bills have the edge in coaching considering but that Gase is a highly respect offensive mind. He questions the Bills OL considering they could have 4 new starters. But I’ll throw this question out - who do you think will be better: The Bills or The Jets? https://www.buffalobills.com/audio/obl-7-19-bleacher-report-s-tyler-dunne-co-hosts-bills-2019-season-preview-with-g

Duke Williams- can he make the team?

I really wanted to like the signing but I think that many Bills fans are overestimating his ability based on his CFL/college highlights. As you pointed out I think it will be a struggle to make it as the 6th WR on the team. I’m going to give him about a 20% of making the roster...but we’ll have to see what he does in preseason -
I don’t know about that. My friends and I who were really getting into sports did and I’m sure many others did as well. Yes they were static and not very posable but there were many figures like that in the 80’s and into the 90’s. Perhaps that’s why they never really took off like some other lines, you couldn’t really do a whole lot with them
