I remember looking at the schedule and thinking it was going to be really tough for Cleveland to win the division. The one saving grace is that they can beat Pittsburgh and Cincy to get 4 wins and they will play Miami so a playoff spot is not out of the question

Some people here have missed the original point. Nate’s rant was all about the members of the Bills fan base that turn on the team on a dime. Case and point - everyone was pumped about Josh Allen after the Week 2 win against NYG. But as soon as he threw that terrible INT, there were people saying “he f’n sucks” or “Josh Allen is terrible.” Same thing with Beane and McDermott. Fans will be signing their praises one minute and the moments that things go bad, they’re like “Beane destroyed this roster! We should have Marcel, Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods. We should have drafted Pat Mahomes” Or in the game on Sunday, when the defense played lights out in the first half, and gave up a TD on a long drive some fans were like “the defense sucks. Here we go again.” Nate is spot on - Bills fans are completely reactionary and sometimes out of touch when talking about the team. its either the Bills are the greatest or the worst team ever - all depending on the play LOL you can’t listen on your phone or any internet enabled device with the Radio.com app. I think you’d like the Bills coverage

Because he’s the host of the Bills Pre-Game and Post-Game show. The whole “men who played sports” line is quite possibly the most bizarre and baseless comment I’ve ever read in here

“Men who played sports aren’t crowing about this team!?!?!?” What the hell does that mean? Because there are many former NFL players turned analysts who have praised the team over the past few weeks. Also they are a combined 1-8. Get your facts straight!!!!

After suffering through Schopp and Bulldog‘S post game show, I kept listening to WGR to hear the Overtime Show with Nate Geary and Joe DiBiase. The first thing that Nate did was criticize complaining Bills fans - mostly the ones on Twitter - though you see a lot of the same comments here. Specially he called out fans that are extremists and turn on the team on the drop of a hat. Fans are pumped about the Bills, but as soon as they blow a lead it’s “Same old Bills” or “It’s over.” Joe said he gets it because the Bills have Depressing a lot for the past 2 decades. But Nate’s point is that the majority of the Bills roster are 2nd or 3rd year players who are still learning to win. Said that the Bills have never drafted a QB 7th overall and that fans need to give him time and be realistic. Also said some of the “toxic” comments on Bills Twitter are unbelievable. It’s a great listen:

They aren’t embarrassed of the Bills Mafia fanbase, but yes they are embarrassed with Deadspin puts out videos of the stupid things the Bills Mafia does, or when Tweets go viral of two Bills fans having intercourse in the parking, or when the fan base travels to Jacksonville and trashes parking lots.

No sympathy for Vontae is any way. I’d welcome old Donte Whitner back to the team for Davis. IMO the article is a valentine for Vontae. It fails to mention is that if you are activated for Week 1, a salary was fully guaranteed. If he had thoughts about retiring, he (not surprisingly) waited until his $$$ guaranteed. Also his story just doesn’t make sense. He was pumped to play against San Diego....but suddenly just wanted to quit after 1 tackle? Its real simple about Vontae....he quit. It’s like a spoiled kid at the playground who walks off the court playing pickup basketball because his team is losing and he doesn’t want to be associated with “losers.” IMO I think he knew that in camp, he just sucked and didn’t have it anymore. I think that after a lopsided loss at Baltimore and what appeared to be another landslide loss in San Diego, he just gave up. He didn’t want to show the world he sucks on a team that he thought was going to suck. Its a pretty selfish and cowardly thing to do. #FVONTAE

Overblown? Now go back and check the stats from his rookie season. He had one of the highest drop rate of any WR. Then you wonder why he ha a reputation for dropping passes.
