  1. But he’s such a great guy....he wears oink ties and talking to cancer survivors in Foxboro ? Must be a Yankee fan?
  2. I think the XFL is destined to fail but maybe it could become a good farm league
  3. I seem to recall Beane and McDermott echoing the same comment about Shady last Spring....
  4. There’s no correlation. Namath, Unitas, Moon, Cunningham, Montana all left their team to START on another team. They left to become a STARTER....not to be backup. THEY LEFT BECAUSE THEIR PREVIOUS TEAM SENT THEM PACKING. I’m doing you a favor, though I don’t know why, and deleting the rest of your weak post. C#81
  5. This report is total crap. Only team I could see is maybe Pittsburgh - the others have a QB in place
  6. This actually might be actually be entertaining. No one will ever confuse Gronk for a scholar but I feel Gronk as an analyst will be a train wreck that hard to look away from!
  7. I read that kickers versus the Bills are 2-8 on field goals (Santos 0-4 added greatly). Also they have missed 2 PAT’s
  8. yeah Sammy really lit it up last night ....oh wait
  9. Yep....cutting the losses is right, given the circumstances I think it’s certainly better than just cutting. It was a disaster of a pick from the start. Wish the Bills could redo that selection!
  10. I think we’ll need an entire season to see what he has. By Week 16, if we aren’t sure whether he’s the Bills QB of the future that’s an issue.
  11. A 5th for Zay is pretty good but in retrospect, the 5th is a terrible return on a player that the team traded up to get, bypassing JuJu Shuster Smith. If McDermott made that call then damn....terrible waste of a draft pick
  12. I’m right there with you!
  13. Foster is one of the great mysteries of this season. He goes from the best WR on the team last season to a #4 who can barely get on the field.
  14. I didn’t think he was that great but he did seem to be getting better hang time which helped with coverage.
  15. Not when it’s a net of 33 yards because he kicked into the end zone
  16. Explain why.... because overall I think he’s done a great job. I didn’t love the QB sneak on 4th and 2, for instance. But if you look at the body of work of the past 5 weeks, it’s been solid. They haven’t scored because Allen has 10+ Turnovers
  17. Would you say this is on Daboll? Or is it largely on Allen? If you want to talk execution, the team has out-gained opponents by nearly 100 years each game this yearZ. It has not translated into pts
  18. Happy Birthday @Chandler#81 Celebrate good times....come on! ???????????
  19. I agree. There’s no way this trade happens
  20. I subscribe to The Athletic and won’t be paying for the Buffalo News. I do find the criticism of Daboll from some a segment of the fan base to be unfair. I think he’s doing a really good with the offense overall. While the Bills have struggled to score point, the offense is moving. If Allen can get ever finish drives with points, I think this team is in great shape
  21. So what the hell is this supposed to mean? McDermott should be better than 19-18? Forget the fact that he took a team that people thought were tanking to the playoffs, and got the most out of a very poor team the next season. I guess he should be 37-0? This just reads to me as a laughable statement. The thing with Allen is, yes he has made some incremental gains but I’m not so sure I would call him “our guy” yet. At some point the excuses have to stop. He cant put the Bills in bad situations as he has frequently over the past 5 weeks. He also has to get the ball in the end zone, or he at least has to stop taking points off the board. We haven’t really seen Josh play a complete game yet, so until that happens I think fans are still going to question whether he can minimize these mistakes that have crippled the Bills chances of scoring. I’m not nitpicking but just being realistic. The Bills have dominated most teams in yardage on offense, but have been winning by narrow margins. This is mostly due to QB play. The Bills have won 3 out of 4 games largely due to the strength of the defense, as the offense struggles to score over 20 points. How long is that sustainable for? I will say that I agree with just about everything else. Overall not a bad read. How old is this dude anyway?
  22. Here is something that I find odd about this years’ Bills offense. If you look at the output over the past 5 weeks, you would think their offense is really bad. The team is averaging just 18 points per game, and only 15 points over the past three games. But if you take a look at the team stats, what you’ll find is that the Bills are regularly outperforming their opponent in total yards on offense. 3 times so far, we’re taking a different of 100+ yards. Take a look: Bills 370, Jets 223 - W Bills 17 -13 Bills 388, NYG 370 - W Bills 28-14 Bills 416, Bengals 306 - W Bills 21-17 Bills 375, Patriots 224 - L Patriots 16-10 Bills 313, Titans 252 - W Bills 14-10 My question is - why aren’t the Bills scoring more points? I am sure that Allen’s turnovers don’t help, but it really makes me wonder why, Is it all on Allen? Or are their other factors involved? because based on yardage they are probably toward the middle of the pact in the NFL. Also, I’ve seen many people blame Brian Daboll but if you look at these stats it’s proof that his offense is moving the football. For whatever reason, they aren’t scoring points.
  23. I don’t think Benjamin has anything to do with it. The Bills fans saw a bigger WR who had A good college career, awesome highlights from CFL, and some good production in preseason and wanted more. If anything to case against Duke was made by the media who said he couldn’t get separation
  24. I do think they can call more run plays - especially when it seems that the strength of their line is blocking for the run and not the pass. But I like how Daboll is giving Allen every chance to throw the football. The worst thing he could do would be to have Allen throw 15-20 passes and baby Josh. We need to see what he has as a passer and whether he’s the QB of the future. You can’t do that if you have him throw 20 passes a game. They aren’t scoring but if you look at the performance they routinely out gain opponents of offense. They aren’t scoring because of a QB who is turning the ball over a LOT.
