I think that it all depends on whether the promotional advertising he’s referring to is “commercial.” Because if it isn’t, he has no case. Media outlets and websites have been using that video for decades and he’s never brought suit to any of them. I think he’ll try to say that this situation was different because it was advertising. Not sure if it will make a difference. He never should have called them out on Twitter Nah that’s more like Legion of Doom than Macho Man. But yeah it’s definitely a wrestling promo

Tre/Allen for Mahomes Outcome
Phil The Thrill replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I honestly believe that Mahomes went to the perfect situation. If you look at his draft reviews in 2017, many were saying that he was a raw prospect and were indifferent on whether KC overdrafted him. Considering the plan was to sit him behind Alex Smith, there was good reason that KC get he needed development as well. He had the advantage to sit behind a good QB mentor, play for a HC who always coaches up QB’s, and have a talented roster of skill players around him. Plus the luxury of being able to watch for an entire season - how often does that happen? In 2017, Rick Dennison would have been his OC, Tyrod Taylor would be his mentor QB, and his supporting WR cast would consist of Zay Jones, Jordan Matthews and Deonte Thompson. Oh and Charles Clay at TE. Plus he’d be playing for a defensive-minded coach, that didn’t have the type of experience or track record that Reid has. So I’ve always thought it’s very hard to evaluate when there are so many variables that come into play. -
In a shocking turn of events the famous Bills super-fan known as Marc Miller now seems to be upset with the Bills organization for using his famous clip: This year Marc got some notoriety when the Bills used this clip during Dallas week. Mark himself opened a Twitter account named @dallaswentdown. Things seemed to be good but then he wrote a tweet last night indicating that he was not happy with how the team used the clips: As you can imagine this caused a huge backlash from his followers. He lost 500+ followers since that tweet. Ive been trying to see where Marc would have a legitimate claim, and I can’t really find one. That video was recorded by WRGZ in 1993. It probably was licensed by the NFL Films And went viral from there. After 27 years, the video has been in thousands of websites and media, yet he is only going after the Buffalo Bills? Also he seemed to embrace his viral personality and has been interviewed on dozens of websites and appeared in a few different Bills documentaries. So I’m not so sure how he can pull a “right to publicity” claim, here. He also had no problem with the Bills using his image during Dallas week. In any event, airing your grievances on Twitter rather than contacting the Bills directly, is not a good look.

Will 2019 Steelers Suffer Same Fate as 2004 Bills?!
Phil The Thrill replied to ChasBB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Except he’s no where near the threat on the ground that Lamar is. This is interesting because I had thought thought all they had to do was to beat Pittsburgh. Regardless, for all of the 2017 Bills “backing into the playoffs” bs narratives, give that team credit for winning enough games to make the playoffs. Many other Bills coaches faltered -
Why is CJ Anderson not on a team??
Phil The Thrill replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
CJ is older. There has to be a reason why no other teams have signed him. Might not be much gas left in the tank -
https://theathletic.com/1480466/2019/12/25/bills-all-22-review-the-very-loud-conundrum-that-is-the-josh-allen-evaluation/?source=shared-article Joe Buscaglia is done evaluating the film from the Bills All 22. Its largely what you would expect - the Bills fought tough but couldn’t come through. Josh Allen struggled and regressed versus the NE defense. While he made the 2 big throws, he also missed many other golden opportunities that could have helped the team. He missed several shots at finding an open WR and overthrew other passes. Ironically he says that the game in NE is perfect evidence for the conundrum of Josh Allen. If you want to find evidence of his inaccuracy, it’s there. If you want to find evidence of his big play ability, it’s there. Tremaine Edmunds played terrible early on and NE took him out of the game with a lead blocker. He couldn’t get off blocks WGR the game began and this is why NE has so much running successes. He did better toward the end but the front 4 did him no favors Surprisingly, he said that Jordan Phillips has a bad game and did not show up. This led Joe to question whether the Bills should break to bank to resign him. He also said that Dawson Knox is on the brink of breakout our given his ability to separate and win 50/50 balls.

Will 2019 Steelers Suffer Same Fate as 2004 Bills?!
Phil The Thrill replied to ChasBB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The scenario was a little differentl. I’m certain that in 2004 it was a “win and in scenario.” The Bills completely botched that game versus second string players. There really was no excuse for that. But yeah, I can still see Pittsburgh losing to Baltimore, though I think we’ll discover that an RG3 led rushing attack is nowhere as good as Lamar. -
Channel 4 (WIVB) replaying 1991 Raider WC Game.
Phil The Thrill replied to Bob Lamb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Speaking of Bills Vs Raiders in the playoffs, anyone remember this game from 1993? I remember this being a really good game and a great Bills win. Theres a part in this game where Tim Brown returned a punt and Steve Tasker makes a beautiful shoestring tackle. The two shake hands and then help each other up. It was a class moment -
Channel 4 (WIVB) replaying 1991 Raider WC Game.
Phil The Thrill replied to Bob Lamb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You can watch it any time on YouTube. Also this game was not a Wildcard Round, it was the AFC Championship Game. I mentioned this a few weeks back. If Bo Jackson plays in this game, I think the outcome might be a little closer. He was a beast back in 1990 -

Even though, I’m easily your least favorite member of TBD, I will also wish you and your family a Merry Christmas -
Should The Bills Bench Alexander?
Phil The Thrill replied to Dr.Sack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah we all love Lorenzo but I think that he’s definitely struggled at times this season. I do feel that he can be a good situation player, especially rushing the passer etc. As far as benching him? I don’t think that we have anyone that can step in and play as well as he does. Would an additional defensive back be a solution? I think they might be a liability in bigger packages against the run. So I think playing him, gives the Bills the best chance at winning this season -
Watt designated to return from IR
Phil The Thrill replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From what I read he came back very fast and he likely will not be 100%z. Hopefully he’s a non factor -
Maybe I am projecting my own thoughts because I thought Roman was doing a good job. Sure the opening game vs Baltimore was disgusting but I think a lot of that was Tyrod’s fault. I was at the Bills vs NYJ Thursday night home opener. People were pissed the Bills lost but hardly anyone faulted Roman. Many people were mad that Rex’s defense was owned and that our “lockdown” corners of Stephon Gilmore and Ron Darby could defend against Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker and Wuincy Enunwa.

No doubt it was not his best game but go back and watch the Baltimore game. He was the key player on defense. The entire team didn’t play well on defense

Rational Thoughts After The Patriots
Phil The Thrill replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So yeah the defense did give up 2 scoring drives of 3 and 8 points after going up 17-13. But the problem was that the offense failed to move the ball after going up 17-13. They went 3 and out for 2 straight drives. Again, this is why you can’t pin the entire game on the defense. It was not their best performance. But the offense should have done their part too -
The Bills have the cap space to absorb a deal like this for a few seasons. You are right , you can’t have it all but I think bringing a Donald on board would mean: - Losing Phillips, Lawson and maybe Star - Possibly losing Trent Murphy and maybe even Jerry Hughes I would be ok with these moves, and many of them might happen this offseason anyway
