  1. This is a great signing. He’s been on some championship caliber teams. Good depth is so important.
  2. I doubt it. The WR position is going to have some growing pains. I think Brady will lean on his TEs. Knox is in his prime and is a tough vet. He was dealing w injuries last year. I think he’s going to be huge in the RZ
  3. The point is the Bills would’ve won with a D that allowed 17 like the Ravens did. 27 points is too much in a physical playoff game where you have 1st & 2nd round picks allover your D-line. That should make up for injuries to the back end. It’s disgusting that McDermott hasn’t at least found a way to slow down Travis Kelce since they play him twice a year. As far as the Patriots go, they could beat you multiple ways. Close games, shoot-outs, whatever. Must be nice to have a defense that stepped up come playoff time instead of winning the regular season award.
  4. I’m talking on a purely defensive effort by those teams. Baltimore lost, but only gave up 17 points. I’m referring to the juggernaut Patriots team that won 6 SBs and an insane helmet catch short of 7. Maybe not the first couple, but they were unstoppable when Brady hit his ceiling. Let’s see what Mahomes can do when his body starts breaking down and he has to play from the pocket
  5. I liked Josh’s chances converting the 4th down opposed to kicking a FG w/ an (allegedly) injured kicker who nearly missed 2 XPs already. I think Josh went for the big play knowing the kicker would tie the game as worst case. If it was do or die, he absolutely would’ve put the team on his back to get it. I remember how many people were saying how shaky Bass was looking including myself in the game thread. I fully expected him to miss. I was not surprised in the least bit, it was as Billsy as they come.
  6. Having a fresh Micah Hyde come playoffs would be an awesome insurance policy. I remember when the Rams picked up Eric Weddle and it worked out great for them. I’m all for it.
  7. It irks me to no end when I hear about Josh’s record against KC in the playoffs when he had the 13 seconds game all but wrapped up and never saw the field again. What’s the point of having a defensive coach if the defense isn’t winning in the post-season? This a make or break year for McDermott. Not saying he needs to win a SB, he needs to prove he can beat Kansas City in the playoffs. The Chiefs are flawed too and no where near the juggernaut that the Patriots were. We’ve seen other teams contain them like the Bengals and Ravens.
  8. I would unload Elam for a half eaten bag of Doritos (Cool Ranch) at this point
  9. With the bills you were supposed to pay your bills with but decided to get bill’s bills Jersey
  10. I can’t really explain it, but Davis just pops off the screen when I see him run. He’s got the fluidity, power, hands, 🙌 and most importantly instincts to be a true bell cow. Cook should definitely be concerned because I think Davis is going to eat into his carries big time. He definitely would’ve been drafted higher in previous eras. Easily the most talented RB duo since Jackson/Lynch IMO.
  11. Josh would’ve dove for that fumble. Cam Newton is a disgrace and no where near Allen’s level or consistency excluding his rookie and MVP year.
  12. And the Chiefs only put up 17 against Baltimores defense the following week while we allowed 27. All the resources put into that side should be able to hold a team to less points than that. Seems like the only hope is to win in shoot outs now scoring drive after drive.
  13. We all know what the problem really is and it’s McDermotts bend & break defenses. It’s been the same story for years. The Lamar Jackson of defenses, great regular season stats, but chokes when it matters most. People act like a shiny new WR is going to change that
  14. I wouldn’t count on it. I think Rousseau is what he is at this point. An average starter in this league w/ an ability to make big plays here & there. Even if he did turn it on, is it really worth paying a rotational player big money? Unless he becomes the 2nd coming of Reggie White, I think Beane lets him walk after the contract and drafts a guy high next year. I actually think AJE has more of a chance of becoming something. Is it really fair to bring up sack numbers for rotational players as your argument ?
  15. Based on our current needs I would choose… Eric Moulds Terrence McGee if I am just going overall best players then… Jason Peters Takeo Spikes How is Bruce Smith a drought player ? He literally played in all 4 SBs.
  16. So now we’ll have the Madden Curse, the Flutie Curse, the ancient burial ground, AND the Claypool Curse working against us??? 😞
  17. An all-purpose RB that can do everything is most definitely worth the money, but if you have a good line you can pretty much throw anybody back there.
  18. The most uninspiring starting RB. Literally 3 yards and a cloud of dust. I’m not surprised either.
  19. Fa sho. Him and Haynesworth were trash bags Bankruptcy
  20. Kincaid said Bishop got the best of him in college. We shall see
  21. It will come down to Brady and the O-line. It all starts in the trenches. Give Josh long enough and he’ll find the open guy. Torrence is going into his sophomore year and looks to be a good one. Brady also had 2 legit weapons at TE and a top 5 RB. More than enough talent to scheme up a respectable squad. Jets will definitely be in the mix. I think they nab a wildcard spot. Definitely a team I wouldn’t want to see in the playoffs since we seem to matchup w/ them horribly. A competent QB would’ve swept us the past 3 years. It is a big “IF”
  22. Kelvin Benjamin 2.0
  23. I think Bishop will turn out to be the best pick of this class.
