Excellent Article on Terrel Bernard from Tim Graham
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to MikePJ76's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s all about hot takes nowadays and everything is perceived to be so black and white. Football is a team game. We saw that when key players on the defense were injured, when Bass missed an easy kick to tie the game up late in the 4th, or when McD made some very questionable calls especially on special teams. Of course everyone wants to chalk it up to Mahomes being more “clutch” than Allen. It’s way more complicated than that. It even comes down to sheer luck at times. There are so many planets that need to align for a championship team. -
How many wins do the Minn Vikings get this year?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to DefenseWins's topic in The Stadium Wall
They still have the best WR in the league. I’d say 6-7 wins -
Diggs is a clown. A millionaire 50 times over w/ a top 3 QB throwing to him, fan base that loves him, and a receiving yards title yet still finds things to complain about. I have no sympathy for this bozo and I hope he flames out in Houston recording career lows in every category as the 3rd option. Josh continually saves face for him. He’s gotta be screaming inside when he was on the team. I bet he’s secretly excited to finally have full control of the offense.

What’s Your Most Memorable Bills Game?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, seems like scouts/coaches were much more stuck in their ways back then as far as measurables and finding the prototype 6’3 + QB. Now they aren’t as much, but it worked out in our favor. Josh Allen would’ve went #1 overall in every draft prior to 2010 (ball park number, but just making a point.) The short guy w/ the intangibles & heart ended up going #1 and JA dropped down all the way to 7. I feel like Flutie would’ve been really good in today’s NFL especially in an offense designed around him that took advantage of his scrambling and ability to throw on the run. Like a poor man’s Russell Wilson. Regardless, he’s got a legendary career than any player would be proud of. He’s had success on every level he’s played in. Flutie is definitely one of my favorite players of all time and I never understood the dislike that some on this board have for him despite loving Ryan Fitzpatrick who never got the Bills to the postseason. He’s a winner. Who knows what would’ve happened had he started the Music City Miracle game? That was a massive slap in the face to the players and fans. At the very least, he was fun to watch and played w/ heart. -

Did not know it was blacked out. Pretty cool to be one of the few who got to see it live then 👍 -
What’s Your Most Memorable Bills Game?

My first ever Bills game I attended. Bills vs Jacksonville when Flutie ran it in for the game winning TD w/ 16 seconds left. I was hooked ever since and why I will always have love for Doug Flutie. I have never heard a stadium get as loud as it did on that day. -
He has quietly put together a 9 year career in a league where players average about 3. Not bad at all

Josh's perfect offensive game re-visited
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to tomur67's topic in The Stadium Wall
Against the 2nd best defense in the league nonetheless. Buffalo had the 1st. That game destroyed the Patriots and they’ve never been the same since and also solidified the Bills takeover of the AFCE after 2 1/2 decades. Of course I want a SB win, but pretty cool to have 4 straight division titles. The way they finished last season on a win streak and beat the Dolphins in the finale to make it 4 in a row was awesome. I rewatch it at least once a year. It’s the most satisfying game I’ve ever seen as a Bills fan. -
Exactly. A Super Bowl win is the difference between a Fran Tarkenton and a Brett Favre. I am confident Josh will get one. Buffalo has had the worst luck w/ injuries. If they can get into the playoffs relatively healthy then it’s a strong possibility. As far as the best dual threat ? By a mile and he’s still young. Imagine what his stats will look like in another 5 years.

The Quality of Our Opinions
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Idk I’ve seen people on various Buffalo Bills forums make better mock drafts of guys who would’ve actually been available than numerous GMs. The Whitner/Ngata is the most famous one, but a lot of people HATED the Spiller, EJ Manuel, McGahee, Elam picks including myself. -
I can’t stand the heat. I’m with you

Dolphins TE Jonnu Smith slams Buffalo lol
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ll give him credit for securing the bag in one of the dumber FA contracts given out in Patriots history, but if we’re talking about his legacy as a player ? Only went over 500 yards one time and completely flopped in New England. He had a bit of a resurrection in ATL I guess, but nothing special. Every time he’s come to Buffalo he gets completely shut down by our defense and I’m guessing that’s where the animosity comes from. This whole “Buffalo is a **** hole” is outdated as hell. Seems like every player who comes here falls in love w/ it because they are treated like kings. Bills fans live and die for their team, it’s a birthright. -
Dude was electrifying on both KR and PR duties. 9 total return TDs. The most memorable was during the Super Bowl which pretty much sealed the victory for the Ravens. RIP

Vikings WR Jordan Addison arrested for DUI

I’ll never understand why a millionaire gets a DUI when they can just pay for an Uber or hire a full time driver. -

You think that Washington was better than Pat Williams or Kyle Williams ? No Chris Kelsey proves your list is weak -
I think a lot of the hate for Josh Allen that comes from other fans is simply jealousy. I’ve noticed KC fans actually have the most respect for him because they already have their guy and it is must-see TV when these 2 teams play. They see what Josh can do when all cylinders are firing and know he had Mahomes beat in the playoffs if not for the biggest defensive collapse in post-season history and Tyler Bass doing his best Scott Norwood impression. Baltimore fans have to be getting frustrated at this point. Lamar is probably the best running QB of all time (Josh is the best dual threat…fight me) but if Lamar doesn’t DRASTICALLY improves as a passer, he isn’t going to be nearly the threat he is now when he gets up there in age. I think he is what he is at this point. Baltimore’s best chance is to run him into the ground the next 3-4 years and hopefully get a title out of it.

It’s stuff like this or like Josh remembering all the names of Haushka’s kids that make my respect for a player go right up. So much more easy to root for than a guy like Devante Adam’s who assaults camera men or Mahomes who has 3 year old tantrums on the sideline over a blatant rule infraction. I know how people get on McD & Beane’s case for going after “character” guys, but it does make the team much more likable.
