It’s always hard to win in this league, or so we’ve been told! 🤷‍♂️That said, I feel like the Phins fans should be the ones quaking about having to play a team that for whatever reason has consistently had their number regardless of venue…and who’s QB cannot be stopped by physical means. My sole issue with this game is Josh’s injury status on a short week, but even that was very downplayed in the post game presser.

Nor some of the many untimely holding calls!

#1 QB in the NFL in my book right now. He’s the highest ceiling player at this position I’ve ever seen in my lifetime, or the old NFL Films specials before that, imho. He does things no one else can do, but can also do everything anyone else can.

Part of me can’t help but wonder if BB specifically looked only for under the radar hungry WRs instead of a “made man” #1 this offseason precisely because he needed the team to be completely free of in-season distractions?

But isn’t Brady still the one who decides when and in what particular order said plays are called in game? In that sense he’s still the ultimate decision maker, picking his spots with the knowledge that his players are confident they can execute said plays on command, imho.

At Jerry’s advanced time on earth, I’ve wondered for awhile now exactly how much he’s elbows deep into roster management/contract details, or if he delivers sound bites only, and has little to nothing to do for actual work?

Ironically, the very thing this pithy author points to as one of the reasons we “suck” most, getting rid of the end all-be all WR Diggs, is the very reason Houston supposedly sucks this year too??!! Much better deal to get NFL+ imho, where you can watch every game commercial free after it’s done, for a fraction of the price of the Ticket. Combined with how often we will be playing prime time games or other nationally broadcast games, seems like Ticket is not as must have as it used to be? 🤷‍♂️

Not a whit…to the OP’s point, it could even backfire and make me less likely to purchase said product if I already dislike the athlete like Mahomes, Gronk, Brady, etc…
