  1. I'm not sure about the pre-draft stuff because I don't follow college ball so I had no idea who would be good and who wouldn't. I do think that Bills fans caught on to Allen's potential pretty soon into his rookie year. Most of the 'experts' and fans of other teams say he was garbage his first two years and that even Bills fans wanted him gone, which is one of those lies that's just become an accepted truth now. I think most Bills fans fell in love with Allen when his ass went over Barr's head during the Vikings game. And you could see from the eye test that he had the It Factor. I do remember being worried about him during his rookie season before his injury, because he didn't seem to be improving at all, and in a lot of ways had regressed. Then he came back against the Jags and looked so much better. That elbow injury turned out to be a blessing in disguise. But it does make me laugh when I hear the whole 'Allen sucked his first two years' because it shows most fans of other teams only watch the highlights and box scores, then just base their opinions on what the deadbeats at ESPN think.
  2. I am actually in the process of becoming a Bills babe myself and would be happy to meet up with the OP for a candle lit meal, perhaps a little dancing, so long as he agrees to pay for dinner (I think I want to be an old fashioned kind of girl). Please be aware, I am a work i progress
  3. I've always wanted to try ventriloquism
  4. It must be a thing with GB quarterbacks. Although when Favre did the whole 'I'm retiring, no I'm not' thing I was never bothered by it. Favre (just above Barry Sanders) is probably my favorite player of all time because I just loved watching him play, never felt that way about Rodgers, despite his talent
  5. The problem with twitter is that it allows people to spew out every single thought that pops into their heads. Years ago people would be sitting in the bathroom, taking a dump and they'd have a random thought about religion or cookies or the possibility that the world might be flat. And that would be it, it was just a thought that would usually be flushed away with the turd they'd just dropped. Then social media came along and allowed those people to pull out their phones, still in mid-dump, and broadcast said thought to the rest of the world. I'm not on twitter myself but I did create an account years ago so I could follow Bills news during free agency. I only lasted a few hours, it was like being thrown into a mental hospital and having every patient take it in turns to walk over and scream in your face.
  6. Lots of people posting their vital statistics in this thread, I thought I was on a dating site.
  7. I love Kyle, especially his pop culture references (love the Quantum Leap call out there) but disagree with him here. Josh doesn't have to be better, the defense and running game have to be better. If they are then his level of play last season is easily enough to win it all
  8. Just watched a little of this video of his interview from just last month. Really sad to hear how enthusiastic the guy is and how he talks about feeling invigorated.
  9. Yeah, it's like when I ask my kids to call me sir and they just laugh in my face
  10. Could have been worse, he could have called him Chris Evert
  11. Good luck to him. Must be great for him, he gets to spend more time with family without all the deadlines but still gets to talk about the sport he loves on radio... and get paid for it! He's living the dream
  12. I saw this earlier. Terrible news, hope he gets well and back out on the field soon
  13. Yeah, it was in reference to some of the comments I've read. I don't know the details about Sherman so can't comment on his particular case. I do know he was driving under the influence, which is something that really pisses me off. Just look at Reid's kid.
  14. While I have nothing but sympathy for anyone who is genuinely afflicted with a mental health disorder, it's also become a nice little sound bite for anyone in the public eye to stick in a press release two seconds after they get caught acting like a dick. Get caught having an affair? "I've been battling sex addiction for some time." Yeah, you, me and every other man on earth. Arrested for beating your kids? "I'm battling some personal demons and this time they got the better of me" They all sound like deviant priests who blame the temptation of satan for forcing their hand. At some point in life you have to just come out and admit you behaved like an ####### without the colorful crispy coating
  15. Poor goats, they had no idea they were the first course on the evening's BBQ
  16. Let's sign him! Get it done Bea... What? Oh, WE released him? Never mind then
  17. By the time preseason rolls around I'm frothing at the mouth in anticipation. Then 5 minutes into our first game I'm thinking "why was I looking forward to this *****?"
  18. Sounds like she has a better aim than her husband
  19. I'm so tough and manly that whenever I feel tears welling up in my eyes I punch my wife in the face and let her cry for me
  20. He throws the ball the way John Holmes drilled women
