I actually have the exact opposite opinion of the draft than you. I feel the NFL draft is super exciting and has great production value. I watched about 20 minutes of the NHL draft on Friday, it reminded me of the NFL drafts of the 80’s rather than anything close to comparable to today’s NFL draft. I absolutely agree that the NFL milks everything for any dollar they can find. It is why the off season events are spaced out like they are. They do, however, put some of that money to good use. Such as the production value of their shows and events.

I thought the premise of Fear the Walking Dead was really neat. A before the apocalypse of The Walking Dead happened. I assumed it would cover what happened and the gradual transformation. Instead, by the second episode we had zombie apocalypse. I stopped watching after season one. Seeing this, it seems it is basically The Walking Dead? AMC now has Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead, both of which are based in a post-apocalyptic zombie world?

Exactly this. That first class international seat is bare minimum $1000. It’s very plausible that gentleman paid over $1500 for his seat. Cam offered zero incentive. I’ll keep the comfortable seat.

This is an extreme reach IMO. The whole case is predicated on federal child porn charges being anyone under the age of 18. If this woman had simply sent them naked pictures of herself and met them for sex, there would be no crime. Age of consent in New York is 17, they were 17. She also is not a teacher which makes it a crime to have sex with a student of any age. The only crime is they sent pictures back.

Yikes. Just let him walk if that is the case. I really don’t feel like Lawson would be overly difficult to replace by a later round draft pick or a “prove it” type free agent.

Of course. Who wouldn’t want an over the hill RB, who had a huge statistical decline, and is paid pretty handsomely for a RB? I’m sure teams were lining up. I lost count of the amount of times I wanted to hit my head against the wall watching him run last season.

Fine with me. Draft a RB in the 4-6 round next year to go along with Singletary who will have a year under his belt. Low mileage high upside backfield.

How in the world do people hold a grudge against O’Reilly? The team around him sucked and showed no signs of getting better. I would probably lose my love for the game too if every night I played we lost.

So, this is basically telling us that John Brown is beating out... Ray-Ray Mcleod, Isaiah McKenzie, and Duke Williams? Not much of a shock there. It would be more of a story if he were not beating them for top WR reps.

If I knew the Bills were picking 29th, I would give it up for Clowney in addition to next years 2nd (which would probably be late as well).

You know who produced more than Clowney and was traded for a 2nd? Dee Ford. Take Ford’s two non injured years and he produced 10 and 13 sacks. Take Clowneys two best years and he produced 9 and 9.5. Dee Ford also didn’t have the benefit of playing with JJ Watt beside him. Why was Dee traded for only a 2nd? Contract. Khalil Mack is the best defensive player in the NFL, that’s why he set the market for THAT player. He didn’t set it for a defensive end like Clowney though. Dee Ford set that. If the Bills were to give up a first for Clowney I would be very, very disappointed.

Even if he were, it would 100% be a camp body only. No way he’s beating out McCoy, Gore, Yeldon and Singletary, all of which he would be solidly behind in the depth chart.

Because their alternative is nothing. He has no intention of playing on the franchise tag. Clearly no team has offered a first or Clowney would be gone by now. There aren’t many teams in general who would line up to pay 20 million in cap regardless of the cost. Clowney is not a 20 million player but he will get it, that drives the asking price down. If Clowney was signed for a reasonable deal his price would skyrocket. This isn’t Khalil Mack who is the best defensive player in the league.

I was just about to post this. What is he expecting pay wise ?. I was shocked he was tagged in the first place. YOUR A KICKER. 2nd+Lawson is what I would offer. I feel that’s a very fair return considering the massive contract Clowney would demand.

I HATE the Bruins. But, wow, that was a clear trip and should have been a no goal.

The real problem is, what if he doesn’t? Even if he turns into an above average QB that is the money he will command. Then you have two bad options. Let him walk and try to find another QB or overpay for an above average one. As us Bills fans know, finding even average QB play is tough.

Comes down to who would you rather have. Sam Darnold and Josh Allen (edge) or Saquon Barkley and Daniel Jones. I take the first pair every day.
