  1. Unfortunately I don’t see much chance Oliver lasts to 9 now. Unless there is a serious crazy run on QBs.
  2. We will see how many teams complain when that happens. I imagine this isn’t going to be a very well liked rule. End of the game, team throws a Hail Mary and has one challenge left. No flag pass falls incomplete. Booth reviews the play. Comes back some contact was made by the defender. Results in first and goal from the 1. Offense punches it in. Game over. That is absolutely not the way I want to see a game end. Unfortunately it’s the direction the league is going.
  3. This is an idiotic move. Why these two calls only? Well, we know why, knee-jerk reaction to one blown call. I’m fine with penalties being reviewable, but you can’t just pick and choose two examples. This has to be accompanied by further rules addendums, which it is not. First of all, if this is the way the NFL is going, then every penalty needs to be reviewable. Secondly, they have to impose a hard limit on challenges. Two seems to be a good number that works. No more getting a challenge back if you win them, you have two all game. This will likely result in the coach saving that second challenge. I would bet most second challenges would go unused. Then the NFL needs to implement a “shot clock” on replay. Especially if you are challenging penalties. Referees get 2 minutes to look at the tablet and communicate with New York. If a conclusion is not reached in 2 minutes communication cuts off and the call on the field stands. The purpose of replay is not to nit pick everything, it’s to overturn egregiously incorrect calls. Especially now that penalties are challnegeable this has to be the letter of the law that the NFL sticks to.
  4. Whatever. If he couldn’t get it done with this roster he was never going to. Texas Tech absolutely embarrassed him. UB was woefully underprepared. Does Alabama even have a decent Basketball program? I don’t rememer hearing about them making any noise in the past few years.
  5. The earliest I would ever go RB is the 3rd round. This year I would have no problem if the Bills went RB in round 3. Singletary is my top target so far.
  6. I believe if you discount the fluky win streak this team is on par to finish very close to last years team, if not worse.
  7. The rule will likely just eliminate shoulder/forearm initiating contact. It’s the way high school football has been for a few years. In theory, as long as you lead with your hands and do not follow it up with a shoulder it will be a legal block. Of course this is ridiculous because there is no way to block someone with hands only while they are running full speed at you. It would result in you gettting blown up.
  8. Perfectly fine with me. Either of those backup options hold the same weight. None are any good.
  9. Horrible idea. Horrible. This would be the opposite of creating parity. Teams that are already stacked can just keep trading for cap space and sign more players?
  10. I wonder how the 2019 scores shaped up
  11. What has Botterill done to earn being GM for team Canada ?. Besides captain a last place finish last year. Then following it up with what should have been a last place finish, save for a fluke 10 game winning streak.
  12. Like I said earlier, the AAF stole WEO’s lunch money ? he has a personal vendetta. In the words of Eminem “I have been sent here to destroy you”
  13. Anyone know the current percentages? I don’t have a Twitter so I can’t vote and it won’t let me see the percentages.
  14. Depth, depth, depth. It’s important to have top end talent, it’s almost as important to have depth. The Bills probably lose 1-3 guys per game to injury. It’s vitally important that you have a guy who is of at least average talent ready to step in and fill in. We have not had anything close to depth in recent years. It’s looking like that might happen this season.
  15. I don’t see a trade up working this year. Who are you trading up with? Arizona stays at 1 and it would cost too much anyways San Francisco, maybe, but the cost is too prohibitive (multiple 1sts) Jets? I doubt they trade with a division rival Oakland? How many firsts do they need? So maybe you can get to 5 and the Bucs. That’s an intriguing spot. Question is, are Bosa, Allen and Quinnen Williams gone by then? Most likely they are. So then who are you trading up for? Gary or Sweat? One of them would almost certainly be there at 9 and I don’t think either of them are worth a trade up. Giants at 6? No way they are trading out of there. They wouldn’t trade out of 2 last year for a kings ransom, instead drafting a running back. Jacksonville and Detroit at 7-8 all the talent worth trading up for almost certainly gone. It takes two to tango
  16. Are there actually people crazy enough to think it’s an NFL competitor?
  17. I’m just obsessed with football, so I watch anytime any of it is on TV. NFL Network is on my TV hours each day. I watch all the game replays. During football season, it’s college anytime it’s on and NFL every Thursday, all day Sunday, and every Monday. Saturday’s I’ll have multiple college games on. Sunday’s I’ll watch the Bills and then Redzone and then Sunday night. I have loved having the Alliance to watch when there isn’t any other live football on. Did the Alliance steal your lunch money in school or something? What’s the downside to having Football on during the off season. It’s not like it’s watering down the NFL’s talent pool.
  18. Same old Johnny ? “lot of time left, you want to go that way I’ll turn it up on your B*tch ass”
  19. Manziel not going back out after that drive? ?
  20. Johnny, Johnny, Johnny!
  21. Silvers needs to start playing like garbage so Manziel can get in.
  22. This team will live and die by the 3 ball. Right now they are dying.
