I haven't seen any reports from practice about him doing well or bad. I think we're thin at WR behind Zay and KB. I'd probably keep him even with the hit, that is unless we could use that money to land a guard. Then yes, but the guard has to be an immediate upgrade over what we have. So i don't see that happening.

He's unstable during the best of times, i cannot imagine what that money is going to do to him. Diva overload. My guess is he breaks his hand in a fight with a DB this year where he punches a helmet.

I feel worse today than i have after drinking. Saturday I spent 7 hours in the FL heat putting together a memorial garden for the dog that passed this year. The whole house has been fighting a sick bug all week too I thought sweating it out would be helpful. It wasn't. Felt like crap yesterday, and worse today. No drugs or alcohol needed.

Block in the back still an issue
Soda Popinski replied to ALLEN1QB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They are called on just about every decent return, i don't even cheer on punt returns anymore i just look for flags. Honestly just fair catch the thing and at least we shouldn't lose yardage. When we worked on blocking in peewee football we would have the kids run out and hit the blocking shield a coach was holding, sometimes the coach would turn their back and that helped teach the kids not to hit in the back. Maybe they need to treat these pros like pee wee players because it happens league wide on just about every single punt. -
Teef you're 100% right on rec. When I' m upset or stressed I don't drink at all. I actually don't drink during the week at all anymore The only time I like to have a few drinks is when i'm in a good mood or on vacation. I imagine it's the same way with the sticky icky

If peterman starts what’s the point of keeping AJ

With a line this bad you need 3 QBs. probably 4. -
they are awful. Like soggy checkers fries. no crunch, bad flavor. those things are horrible.

Is it possible we start 0-8?
Soda Popinski replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's possible but not probable. I could see 3-5 through 8 games pretty easily. -
you need to understand football in the preseason. We were not looking to commit to running the ball, we wanted to have our QB throw the ball to evaluate him. and as I said to HappyDays what i meant was their dline was not concerned with stopping the run (which is why it looked good when we tried it) they were concerned with getting after our QBs and nothing else.
-
I still say play him, but give him better blocking maybe. Understand that McCoy will be the focus of any defense once the season starts. Having him out there will change our offense completely. They come with that pressure we dump off screens to McCoy and he runs them for touchdowns. Cincy wasn't scared of our running game yesterday and we weren't trying to run the ball much anyway, we were trying to evaluate a QB. They knew it and they sent the house.

We don't know his assignments on each play so I agree if he was supposed to be setting the edge he did a good job of it from what I saw.

Does throwing up mucus into the kitchen sink this morning count? -
OL what I would like to see happen TOMORROW
Soda Popinski replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand what Star should be doing but what I meant was I did not see him clogging anything, i saw him being pushed around regularly in the first quarter. You could tell when Dareus was in there eating up blocks (before his contract extention) he could take on a double team and not be moved one inch off the ball. -
[Vague Title] The Sky Is Not Falling
Soda Popinski replied to ColdFront_USAF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dawkins didn't play, so LT was an issue. Our interior did not hold up vs Cincy's Dline. Billings beat our guys on almost every play. It was sad. I don't know how much they gameplanned but it obviously wasn't enough. That or the absolutely didn't have a plan to block up front. -
OL what I would like to see happen TOMORROW
Soda Popinski replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why is it other DLines look freakishly good, Billings was a terror and to be honest what the hell are we paying Star 50 million dollars for he has been completely invisible and there have been more than a few running lanes open in the middle. I've noticed Harrison Phillips way more than Star he's been one of the most disruptive forces on the Dline this preseason. -
HBO's Limited Series "Sharp Objects"

Ok who saw the final episode last night? I did. But don't want to spoil it if anyone else has not. -
I may have to, depending on the circumstances, my mother in law is not someone who is capable of taking care of herself and we are not capable of taking care of her either. She has mental and physical problems that we are not equipped to deal with, along with our home not being set up for her needs it would be impossible to remodel to make it livable for her. My mother's side of the family has a history of dementia and again it's probably not something we are equipped to handle she tried to have her father live with her near the end a few years ago it it became an impossible situation.

my insurance company drew a line across about 17k worth of the bill and just said "nope we're not paying" and they didn't. It was crazy.

I don't think so, i don't remember ever being asked if i used it. i've had a cigar every now and then but this year haven't even really been into that.
