If I were going to plan a vacation to GA, I'd go to Savannah, that's a fun little town. The shopping has become insane with the Tanger Outlets but it's over by the interstate. Savannah is still cool.

Farmers Almanac: Winter is coming

It was 90+ degrees in the house. If we get one this year i'm leaving the state lol. The plan was to get a small suitcase generator, and a window unit. And I'll do that eventually. i did get outside this year and trim the tree branches I thought could be an issue if we got another. I've been through 6 hurricanes I think in this house. We got the 3 in 2004, one in 2005, the one last year and I'm sure we had one between 2008-2014 I just cannot remember. Oh hell, Alberto was literally Memorial day this year. forgot about that. Anyway I hope you guys up in the northeast have a nice mild winter. And I hope the hunting is good. -

I appreciate all my creature comforts I don't need a week without power to rediscover my love for air conditioning. We were without power for 8 days last year after the hurricane came through. There was nothing fun about it. Elderly people were dying in nursing homes due to heat exhaustion, and lack of care. The threat of looting keeps you up at night along with the heat. We had cell signal, still had to go to work, had coffee and had to find gasoline on my lunch breaks for the car and for that stupid generator. -

I'm glad this organization finally plugged the leaks that had plagued it since 2005. Murmurs and whispers about inter office feuds, leaked information. That all stopped last year

Bleacher Report - Doom & Gloom

the blocking is definitely a concern we lost 1 on 1 battles every game. But then again teams were not gameplanning for Shady at all. The game plan was to get to the rookie QB and rattle him. Or just get to the QB in general. McDermott was shuffling the oline constantly looking for god knows what, that isn't going to happen in the regular season it will be the same 5 and maybe Vlad/Teller will duke it out like Vlad/Miller did last year but I don't expect any major shuffling after tomorrow. Playcalling was more about evaluations than trying to put the ball in the endzone, yes you want drives, and you want points, but you want to see your guys perform in certain situations. 3rd and long, 3rd and short, 2 minute offense, situational football is something Belichick harps on endlessly, knowing down/distance/quarter/score dictates a lot of what is done. Daboll isn't going to be any different. -

Skip going to the Coca Cola factory/museum. But definitely get some chicken and waffles.

I'll be happy when the weather changes here in FL and we stop getting rain every single day. Forecast is the same, a little sun until noon, then overcast and rainly all afternoon. It's been this way the entire summer, I think we got two weeks of decent weather. Over it. -

Anyone else see they got snow in Montana already? -
Kind of hard to think about it when we haven't played a quarter of meaningful football yet. Daboll gets a full season from me because of his body of work with the Patriots and last years NT game. His playcalling and the QB swap at halftime won them that game. He has been around enough championship games/coaches/teams to know what it takes. If we don't win IMO it's not because of him. He'll go somewhere else and have success if we can him. And we will continue the cycle of mediocrity. Personally I'll blame Castillo until the Oline is fixed he's the one I'd fire.

just saw it last night, good episode I thought.

There are examples on both sides. Roethlisburger didn't, he played at a small school, as did Wentz. Goff sat for half his rookie year and probably shouldn't have played at all he looked terrible in 2016. Rodgers sat for what 2 years? 3? Marino was an NFL QB when he got off the plane in Miami. So was Russel wilson in Seattle. It's all the individual combined with the situation. It's not one formula.
