  1. They win that game yesterday if his WRs figure out how to catch the ball.
  2. Was Murphy the 2nd RB I thought I saw him way more than Ivory yesterday.
  3. To any olinemen he can find. We don't have any salary cap left, and we don't really have anything of trade value so pretty much we're screwed with this Oline for 2018
  4. I'm supposed to be in South Carolina Sunday for work, I'm not gonna go if there's nothing left from this storm.
  5. This "look at the tape" BS is a song and dance we've heard before. Hell at least Dick Jauron's defenses kept games close, we get blown out by Baltimore? The offensive juggernaut? Pffftttt, that was sad.
  6. LOL Jeffismagic is grinnin ear to ear right now. Mahomes looked good. Completion % wasn't great but those throws to Hill were fabulous.
  7. I think we're going to lose and lose huge. I predicted 31-13 Ravens, this week I'm predicting 36-10 Chargers. So hopefully we'll be a little bit better.
  8. I've seen an eagle sitting with a flock of turkey vultures devouring the carcass of a dead animal on the side of the road. They are not as majestic as people believe.
  9. Cutting out fast food and soda in the past year has really helped. And cutting any booze during the week helps too, i got addicted to these stupid seltzer waters back in January, i'll drink 2-3 a night, but there literally have nothing to them, no carbs, no sugar, no nothing, the flavor is more like someone whispering the flavor in your ear while you drink it than actual taste. But once you get on them you just keep going. Truthfully I don't miss soda all that much. I'll have a Rum N Coke on occasion but other than that I don't crave them at all. Ice cream on the other hand is killing me, i want ice cream every night.
  10. By brining are we talking about salt water or buttermilk? Because buttermilk is the best thing to marinate bone in chicken if you plan to fry it. Just a salt/water solution with maybe some vinegar and other spices is what I brine a turkey in, along with some cut up oranges.
  11. When I worked for Outback they double fried their chips, first time was a blanch at 300 for 3 minutes, then they would refrigerate and then fry at 400 for 4 minutes. Wings I think should follow a similar time and temperature range but definitely longer than 3 min the first fry, you want to cook em the first time, then the second fry is just to crisp up that skin. I think 300 for 10 minutes, then 375 for 4-6 but you'd have to try one first, and keeping the temp in the fryer is crucial. If you dump 15 wings from the refrigerator right into 375 degree oil but there's only say 10 cups of oil, no way will it recover quickly enough to give you a good fry. Maybe a drop of 10 degrees 15 max is what you're looking for so the oil can recover and at the same time sear the outside skin instead of boiling it. Then you have to let them sit after the second fry for at least 5 minutes. Allow the steam to rise off the wings otherwise it will get trapped by the sauce and once again...soggy skin-bad wing.
  12. well I may have made a mistake picking LA. Hopefully their offense can get it going.
  13. Dangit I picked LA over KC based on him ripping Mahomes a new one.
  14. NCAA is just mad they weren't allowed to sell tickets and call it a bowl game
  15. ha! 41. Turned 40 in April. So I guess I've got some livin left to do.
  16. Keep dental floss in your car or at work.
  17. About the wing size I always felt that the smaller wings fried up better, and tasted better. The larger wings IMO were never as good.
  18. This has to be Florida.
  19. So Philly must have some solid Perkins waitresses..... Guy is right back in the groove.
  20. Swearing has gone down notably since I sold my boat last month. Progress.
  21. More than I should yes.
  22. If you go to the back of Islands of Adventure, in the Jurassic Park section there is a little watering hole that makes mixed drinks, get the rum runner on the rocks, it's good and they do a happy hour around 3pm. Wait, this may not be the kind of Universal advice people are looking for.
  23. a full 10 draft picks to go with that 65 mil. Splashes can be made next year for linemen, a CB2, a linebacker or two and probably another edge rusher. The great thing is we don't have draft picks OR salary cap $$ we have a full complement of both.
  24. I have used a wok on the stove top as well, it works but it splashes like crazy and when the wings start popping it's a mess.
