Got a Bugs Bunny/Wile E thing going on. I caught 4 rabbits this winter. Seen quite a few of late. Last night my wife wakes me up to say there’s something under the pool deck. Whatever….I just looked Wile E busted through the lattice. I think I know where the rabbits are. My wife wants to save the rabbits, I think nature should take it’s course…..

We stopped in a few small places in Alabama before and after leaving the Gulf Shores. No lie, in the one place heard a red neck say to another in a hushed tone “damn bunch of liberals”. But that was about it.

Mississippi? Honestly, never heard that as a winter getaway, but if it’s as nice as Alabama, I get it. The Red Neck Riviera is beautiful.

Every time my wife and I are on 20A there we say how nice it be to live on it for just the reason you stated. We always scope it out, but if something came up we could swing, the snow would more than likely scare us away at this point in life.

They put one of those new smart meters on my house when I wasn’t home. Dirty *****! Bill jumped about 25%. I’ve been meaning to call(thanks for the reminder)to see if it can be switched back, but doubt they will. I just asked my wife, she says it’s closer to 40% for each of the two months we’ve had it.

I didn’t think my first back surgery (‘88) was major until they said I’d be in a striker bed. They turned me, strapped in the bed, like a pancake every 4 hours for 3 days. They chipped bone from my hip to fuse three vertebrae together, which didn’t take. They said my drinking contributed greatly for why it didn’t take. My next surgery to correct it (‘90) was with rods and screws. I got embolisms in both lungs and was in the ICU for almost two weeks. Had 3 more surgeries since then. I had to have a filter installed to catch clots for each. The last surgery was 3yrs. ago. more rods and screws with adjustments to the hardware. The discs just keep blowing upwards. I carry a card for going through metal detectors. Yeah, I guess back surgeries can be considered major.

To a generation I don’t think it a stretch to think many upon hearing the name Norm, this is who pops into their head.

My wife went through three years of radiation and chemo. Kicked her ass, it was beyond brutal what it did. I don’t know what Biden is facing but good luck Joe.

Can’t say I don’t know how Leaf fans feel, at least it wasn’t for the Cup itself. Now that’s heartbreak.
