In the ‘80’s, new boss thought he be nice, shut down the shop for an on site Xmas party for a bunch of us blue collar grunts, who most didn’t get along with at least someone and that was without alcohol. Boss thinking he might even unite some of his minions. Well, a little brouhaha broke out, the boss was one of the “combatants”, and as far as the Xmas party itself? It was a one and done.

Sad. Kind of lost in the legend of Archie Bunker was Reiner’s portrayal of the excellent Mike Stivic character. The real life Reiner shown through in it and the very real issues he brought awareness to playing that role were spot on. He was a legend in his own right. Though many would argue Spinal Tap is his tour-de-force. I know I’d rate it an 11 out of 10.

Bought two certified. A Crown Vic, then a Grand Marquis, added the b2b extended warranty, each lasted about 8 yrs. and never a worry about repairs.

Almost had a “Concussed Dude KO’s Bills” storyline. Is he 2nd guessing himself now and the Docs? I tend to think not, though this goes on longer and….whatever. I thought it admirable he gave it a go.

Okay, here’s what I remember most about Diggs:

I experienced a sort of similar procedure decades ago, before MRI’s, that required precision and risks. Had to get myelogram injections in the ‘80’s, a spinal tap to inject dye into the spinal fluid. I had 3 done, one at a time, minimal pain med/anesthetic is given. Basically you bite the bullet as the needle is inserted in and hope no nerve gets knicked, which mine weren’t, but they do get touched, mine did. It shoots pain bolts down your legs and causes hard back spasms but you cannot move from them, if you do the dye can leak and cause unbearable headaches, though some sort of headache is typical as most do move a little, and laying flat for 24hrs. afterwards is common to relieve it. I got through it well and only had to lay flat for about 4hrs afterwards as I developed no headache at all.

Game ain’t so bad. Looked like guy was gonna pretzel Bakers knee on that sack.
