Bought a new cherry red Canyon, my 1st new vehicle, in the spring of ‘16. Got plenty of compliments but didn’t like it not long after. Four days before Xmas that year, without telling my wife, I traded it in and bought a new Lariat. Merry Xmas to me. I still have it. The wife too.

Bought a used Taurus about 25 years ago, the Ford dealer had a 3 day guarantee or return it. I returned it, it wasn’t easy, kind of faced an inquisition, said no one’s ever done it. But in fairness I bought a nicer Crown Victoria from them and kept it.

The notion that they look across the field seething more so than when non division teams are over there simply plays well with fans and media. Doubt they’d be more pumped wanting to beat a mediocre division rival than a top tier team.

My boxwoods were turning brown and dropping leaves, thought it was from being so warm and dry. Sprayed with Sevin, next day there was yellow dust like piles of larvae literally around all of them with small green caterpillar mixed in. Then put BioAdvanced Tree and Shrub Protect and Feed as told by the nursery. It’s been two weeks, they seem to have stopped. The houses at the top of the street who have boxwoods have died and as you go down the street it lessens, that I live at the end was apparently fortunate.

Cripes, we get our “bell rung” in H.S. football. Snap, sniff, head rush, back in good as new. No big deal. I remember a couple times….well, I don’t exactly remember, but that’s not the point.

In rather short order that graph line falls and flatlines. …..and be oblivious as to why. My wife stops wooing me, she meets Mr. Wonderful, guy owns a house, she wants a quick tidy divorce. We basically had nothing, no equity in the house. She doesn’t want alimony if I let her keep the pittance from the house and wants reasonable child support. GF moves in, I’m healing on full comp, a good chunk of disability insurance, had two policies. GF has decent job and also bartends. I’m living large “Days of Wine and Roses” style. Get married. Back fusions aren’t healing, but endless scripts of Loritabs, drinking, etc, I’m feeling no pain, also why it ain’t healing. Have friends in high places regarding my job so I ain’t worrying about being away. Life is great, I’m in the full throws of addiction. Two years wife leaves. I’m living like Charles Bukowski in the Kaisertown area. Still not working, they’ve had enough. In and out of rehabs, move in with my mother. Rehabs salvaged my job, I go back to work after 3yrs., but need another back operation…..

I never watched South Park ever. But my 2nd wife and I would go down to the other end of Allen, usually Cathode Ray, don’t know if it still there, and be drinking and occasionally she’d find a girl for sort of a fling and go off to wherever nook, room, bathroom. Didn’t bother me, no matter what she’d be going home with me. Mind you we were snow blowers.

I’ll keep it brief as possible. I have my surgery, small cracked vertebrae, two ruptured discs. In the hospital 4 days,(’88) meanwhile I can’t move in with my GF she has a roommate, my wife says if I have no where to recover I can stay with her. I move in with my mother. Wife and GF are calling and visiting me there, I’m “with” both and my mother is helping me running cover, but she says I’m out when I’m able. Meanwhile my gf is trying to get her roommate out for me to move in and my wife’s offer still stands and says she doesn’t want to divorce. I have to pick between them but am in no hurry since it was going well. So I get an apartment when I’m healed…..

I was a bit wayward. Wife had suspicions. We were sort of separated. I was kind of splitting time. In the hospital, my eventual ex-wife shows up 1st, my eventual 2nd wife who’ll also eventually be an ex, comes in a bit after. Neither has seen each other. It’s a moment that goes a million m.p.h. yet is frozen. I don’t know what my face looked, but they both knew. Before I could speak, my ex-wife, cool as a cucumber introduces herself to my “friend”, who doesn’t seem thrown off either, does the same. It’s awkward but there’s talking, small chit chat about what happened, my ex leaves, says goodbye, tells me to call her. Then it got interesting….

Had a work accident, was rushed to the hospital, pre cellphones. My boss had two numbers to call for O.T. He called one to tell my wife, no answer, he a left message, called the other number, no answer, left a message. I’m in the hospital, drugged a bit, going to need surgery for a body trauma, but I’m ok resting in a bed. My wife shows up, a couple minutes later an another woman does too….

For me it’s his eyes…..😍

Boones guy, Williams, is a lost cause, can’t be trusted with anything less than a 3-run lead. Bird is a disaster. Bednar was better tonight, but don't know what we really have in him and Doval yet. Weaver and starters all shaky. Two gut punch losses in four games because of the bullpen. They didn’t bounce back from the 1st one and are facing Eovaldi tomorrow I’d expect the same. Judge being hurried back? He’s in there tomorrow. But it’s pitching…..

At least we can all agree Elvis was “The King” and Muhammad Ali was “The Greatest”.
