If you have time, and a passport, you should check out the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. It’s so much nicer than the American side, and an easy 1/2 hour ride from downtown Buffalo. It’s loaded with fun “touristy” stuff, restaurants, museums, beautiful gardens and more. Everything is close by and near the Rainbow Bridge.
