Oops! Caught me in a repaste. But no goldfinch on Goldfinch Lane? We get Indigo Buntings, bluer than Bluebirds. But, dang! Never saw a Painted one. They look surreal.

I only want pretty birds. Goldfinch-yellow tube feeder w/thistle Cardinals-red roofed feeder w/safflower Orioles & Hummingbirds-feeder for oranges & grape jelly Bluebird houses, but they battle with swallows over them which is fun to watch. It’s all I do. Sunflower seeds and millet draw everything, including critters.

Bills/Jets ‘88 AFC East 9-6 clincher. My brother is on the field celebrating playing tug of war with total strangers with the net. Net rips, he goes flying back, falls, disappears in the crowd. Like uh-oh? Where is he? Pops up holding a piece of netting like he won the WWE belt. Afterwards, I say good thing you weren’t trampled. He says my glasses fell off, I didn’t want to lose the netting so with one hand I’m reaching through feet to get them, which, kind of amazingly, he did without getting stepped on or the glasses getting crushed. Fun times. Oops sorry, didn’t catch the non-classic game posit. That be any rainy game back then where lines formed to slide down the couple wet grass slopes inside the stadium like a slide. They still do that?

Was told I couldn’t watch Laugh-In when it premiered, guess it was racy. When I did, I didn’t see it as that. I mean Goldie Hawn in a bikini with flowers painted on her? She paled in comparison to Ginger or Jeannie’s attributes. Anyways, Ruth Buzzi hitting people with a purse went over big. It was a different time. RIP

“The deer were there first” was the rally cry that thwarted my local municipality’s attempt to appease many neighborhoods whose landscape has been decimated by deer, like mine. Animal rights protesters in droves, signs and all, showed up at the hearings. Most probably didn’t live in or own property, but that was irrelevant.

All I know is catch and release traps are for the brave. Trying to free live little bunnies and squirrels in them spazzing is terrifying.

Is it a stretch to think Amazon benefited China more than the U.S.? I get the cheaper pricing point, like Wal-Mart did. But they’ve pretty much crushed …..everything here? Kind of a treasonous thing in a backhanded way. No?

Riley St. is one of the more frequent places my wife and her gal pals go to. The Roycroft has cheap summer Tuesday burger special she’ll be doing soon, nice way to enjoy and check out the place without digging deep. East Aurora is the go to place for entertaining out-of-towners. It’s worth an overnight for them.

Have 2 sons with Masters degree, another a Lawyer, one a construction teamster and daughter in law a pharmacist administrator. Only the lawyer isn’t citing job issues with the current work environment, though no surprise there. 😏
