  1. My kid’s at Moog, says they can’t fill jobs and are incentivizing eligible retirees to stay on. Plus there’s been an uptick in Defense contracts and not just there. STEM sounds a good way to go. Would venture to say it’s better now than awhile back, two of mine graduated with B.E. around 2007, it wasn’t a smooth transition into the work market then. When I dropped out of H.S., granted it was in the ‘70’s, trades were near impossible to get in. Had a neighbor who was a union rep in the Iron Workers saying he’d get me in, after a year, I gave up. Now trades are so desperate they advertise on the radio around here in Buffalo. Again, don’t think you can go wrong there either.
  2. Same here, but kudos to PFF for hoodwinking the NFL nation and fandom as being the authority of player assessment.
  3. Weaver out, Yankee saga continues: A Farewell to Arms.
  4. Cowboys are the most popular NFL franchise. Would think that pretty much explains all the press they get.
  5. Well, thank you. Appreciate the ok. Being in the minority, appreciate your affirmation
  6. Too lazy to scroll, but figure this version wasn’t used. There’s so many great early career performances on Letterman:
  7. Outside of the Bills, I don’t prioritize watching football until the playoffs. The NFL has become more sideshow than I ever imagined.
  8. Point I contested was that it was asserted the Commissioners in the NBA, NHL and MLB, unlike Goodell, were screwing over their fans.
  9. Hope the marriage doesn’t sap the strength of Josh’s legs for the season.
  10. Sux for the White Sox, they only get to enjoy the 162 game record for a season.
  11. Unfortunately they don’t go hand in hand, but I’ll be glad for Johnny Cougar should the Pacers prevail.
  12. How have Commissioners of the NBA, NHL and MLB screwed the fans in a way Goodell hasn’t? You can’t be talking higher prices for fans to enjoy the product, or moving their sport to pay services. I’d say it’s pretty much an even front along the lines.
  13. If only there was someway to fit Ella in here?
  14. Well, I see the envelope has been pushed a bit, so here goes: (if it’s been posted it’s alright, twice is better anyways 😏)
  15. Senseless booing is a trait of the buffoon usually in camaraderie with those of their ilk. It’s punctuated by the all uniting high-five and screams of yaaahhhh!!! It is quite in vogue nowadays.
  16. Last year, same thing. It was at a small barn, it was a want to be winery place. Served their wine, like 6 choices, canned beer. Small buffet with desert sized plates, not enough tables, the white plastic folding ones and chairs on uneven ground. Hot and little cover. …..oh well. 🤷‍♂️ I think the Steinfeld-Allen reception should be decent though.
  17. Well, then I take it back and wanna hang with him. 😵‍💫
  18. Oh, that’s just great! My kid just started doing trials. He’s gonna walk into a courtroom and the opposing attorney’s gonna be a cyborg! But yeah, hadn’t heard him mention anything like that, but with what’s happening that doesn’t seem a stretch.
  19. Agree and without being able to play off Maj. Burns….well, may she RIP.
  20. Neighbor’s kid went into the Electricians local a few years back, they kinda streamlined him to Journeyman. Same thing there, kids don’t want to put the time in and pay their dues. You mentioned “very fine higher education” my kids law firm is experiencing some of the same issues with the generation coming up. They target and hire top/elite University graduates and so many balk at the work and salary.
  21. My kid is in Local 210, they’re begging for people. It’s hard work and the (future)bunch coming up don’t want to. Contractors been hiring green cards to fill the void. I hear that’s the case with a few of the local trades.
  22. What a world we live in got a machine for that too:
