  1. I thought it was Van Ness in the 1st and Campbell in the 2nd? 🤔😉😁
  2. Can't get to a Kelce level when you have to help block all the time.😉
  3. Just wait to see people freak out on the inactive list.😂
  4. At least it leans more offense. 😁
  5. We may have cleared 30m, but, only have about 14m left. About 3.3m for draft class, leaves just over 10m to play with. Seriously doubt Brown is even a thought.
  6. It was be fore the Hines picks were corrected. PS. Welcome back. 😉
  7. No WR? Do you think we are going to get one in FA?
  8. Risner. Or any of the higher end available G/C FA'S. I just want a GOOD vet RG to put between Morse and Brown.
  9. In addition to Ike, could we be overlooking Van Dermark and Anderson from our PS as depth/BU/competition? Been on the PS for a year and Van Dermark did have a RAS score of 9.44. Not saying don't draft or look into FA'S, but may be options.🤔
  10. From what I've read, he WAS over drafted. Should have been a day 2 pick and went in the 1st. He was also supposed to be more of a project but has improved over the last season or so working with Fitzpatrick. Has all the measurables and speed for a safety and could probably lock him in for a few years. Young and reasonably priced. Maybe a change in scenery and some time with our staff (great with DB's) could bring out more from him? Just thinking of options.🤔
  11. Haven't seen his name mentioned, but, What about Terrell Edmunds at Saftey? Haven't really watched him much, but he was a 1st rnd pick (shouldn't have been). Has some speed and size, half the cost of Poyer (market value of 5.4m) and supposedly can play both FS and SS. Maybe bringing him in we could get a family discount with Tremaine? Both for 20m.😁.
  12. Here's a chart that may help. Breaks it down by pick and cap space needed. https://overthecap.com/draft
  13. Not true, we will need approximately 3.29m for draft picks if we stay put. So we will have enough left to sign a couple of FA'S.
  14. I agree with this. I put in another thread wondering if we could do a trade for Pittman on the Colts. They are desperate for a qb and may need some draft capital to get who they want. Plus they just got Pierce last year and they could re-sign Campbell. 🤔. Last year of his rookie deal, then we could choose between Davis and Pittman next year as our 1b/2.
  15. First, I agree with Victory Formation and thin CJ Stroud will be the best qb in the class. I also think Anthony Richardson will be Lamar 2.0. Great start but will be a better runner than passer. 1. Peter Skoronski ol 2. Joey Porter cb 3. Jack Campbell lb 4. Mazi Smith dl 5. Roschan Johnson RB 6. Rakim Jarrett wr 7. Darnell Wright ot 8. Zach Harrison de/Edge 9. Rashee Rice wr 10. Derick Hall lb/edge Late Rounders. 1. Elijah Higgins wr 2. Zach Kuntz te 3. Jarring Bernard-Converse cb
  16. I don't disagree, I'm just repeating what he said himself. He said he would probably alow 50 sacks if he played on the right side and anyone thinking of him playing there should just move on.
  17. Lewan said he would NOT play RT.
  18. I'm with you on trying to find someone at 27. The rest of the draft at least I can see some reasonable choices, but will depend on what/if we do in FA. Maybe Beane should pull off a Diggs trade and use 27 to find a WR instead of drafting someone?
  19. Even though some don't think Torrence is a fit for our system and I'm not big on taking a G in the 1st, I'm starting to think he may be one of our best options without someone falling or trading back.
  20. Probably why I am not a scout.😉. I'm a member as well (unofficial president 😁). Personally I don't think he failed, I don't think he was used correctly. He's a gadget guy and a backup slot. I never expected 100 catches and 1000 plus yard (albeit it would have been great). I never said Zay wasn't any good, I think he's fine, just not considerably anything better than what we already have. I don't see enough of a difference between Shakir (5th) or McKenzie (5th) and Zay as what a 1st/2nd? What's that saying, "Better to dance with the devil you know than the one you don't".? 🤔
  21. If you say so. He's not really any bigger, isn't any quicker or faster, had 9 drops last season. From what I've read, won't be any better in zone and I haven't seen him do anything in the highlights I've watched that I haven't seen McKenzie do. But if you think he is, that's OK. 👍
  22. I'm right there with you.😉 Probably a part of it. Also, new scheme, 1st year, more mobile qb and less run blocking.
  23. Here's a crazy thought. We are all challenged to find that #27 pick. Colts are desperate to get a QB since Luck retired. They could use the 1st we give them to help trade up and get the QB of their choice. Would it be worth it to call them, offer them our 1st for Pittman? Last year of his rookie deal, they drafted Pierce last year. I think he would be a GREAT#2 and probably better than any wr we could get at 27, then next year we have a choice of keeping Davis or Pittman. More than likely to cost around the same to extend either one of them.🤔 Just thinking out loud.
  24. A TE in the 1st when this TE class is supposedly one of the best in years? Doesn't seem to me like the best use of draft capital. Plus we aren't even using Knox properly. 🤔
  25. I think if we put a competent LG (Bates) next to him, Dawkins will be fine.
