  1. I think we do. I like Lawson, but he's not the answer. Then we have AJ and Basham. We need some Juice off the edge until Von is ready. Also need to keep in mind, there is an out after yr 3 for Von. Basically we have Groot and then average guys. I AM NOT saying 1st rnd...
  2. IMO, I still think it's too early to give up on Brown. Replace him next year if need be. Personally, I'd like at least 1 FA G (Risner maybe. On a reasonable contract. Can play both LG/RG if needed) to pair with Brown. Don't want a rookie next to Brown. At this point I think Morse will play this season (unless cut). If Morse isn't back, Id rather put a rookie in at C sandwiched between 2 vets. Move Bates back to LG Where he played well. Re-sign Ike as a backup. Draft a C (maybe Tippmann) and a G (Vorhees). Could probably also sign Hart, Quessenberry and dare I say Saffold as backups if needed.
  3. Didn't we try this with Cody Ford?πŸ€”πŸ˜‰. So wouldn't this be picking for need? I thought we we're supposed to go BPA at value? Or is it BPA or positional value, or BPA at a position of need? I'm so confused!πŸ€”πŸ˜±πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I do agree, OL and WR should be priority (at least as of today).πŸ‘
  4. Well, you know, if they move White to Saftey we are going to need a corner. πŸ€”πŸ˜‰πŸ˜
  5. I did read your post, hence the original reply. You asked a question and I answered it with what I thought was a very reasonable response. The same question gets asked every offseason to those of us that enjoy doing Mocks. If I hurt your feelings, I apologize as it was not my intent. But, I could also say the same about your response. You could have just given a couple of names of people you like, an opinion on the player and where you think they will fit in the draft. Instead you reply with what came across as a smarta$$ response and a link to a site most of us have probably already read before doing our Mocks. You good? We GOOD? WE ALL GOOD. Now let's get back to the Bills and discussing football.
  6. They will probably change more than 2 times even after the combine. Heck, mine has changed more than twice in the last hour. You don't like mocks, that's fine. You think they are useless, OK. Some of us do enjoy doing them, sharing thoughts, opinions and discussing them. Nobody if forcing you to look at them or asking you to respond. You can always go to the We Traded Mahomes thread or Brady Retires or a hundred other ones that have nothing to do with the Bills. We all have choices.
  7. Mocks before FA should take into account potential FA acquisitions or re-signing of players (at least it should) based on known FA'S available CAP space (projections), potential contracts/Re-structures and best guess scenarios. Personally, I don't watch college ball until Bowl games, so I don't know the players. I like it when people name players, then I go watch film, highlights and read up on them. "Eye test" if you will. Do some Mocks to see where people think draftees currently project. Then the combine gives some facts/measuarbles to add to the information I have already gleaned. Then more reading and information compiled between combine and draft for several more mocks.😁 Posting a Mock Draft on a message board generates conversation and shares opinions. Isn't that the whole meaning of being on TBD?πŸ€”
  8. Campbell would be my choice as well. Plus he did win the Dick Butkus award and the Campbell trophy.😁 https://footballfoundation.org/news/2022/12/6/football-iowa-lb-jack-campbell-awarded-nffs-33rd-william-v-campbell-trophy.aspx
  9. Yeah, it all goes into a Trust Fund until he reaches the appropriate age.πŸ˜‰
  10. I think we will solidify the OL in FA, but if I'm going to spend 13m on WR, I'm NOT going with OBJ. I could get DJ Chark AND Landry for about the same money. My ex taught me about BOGOF (buy one, get one free)!😁
  11. Love the vision stuff. That way he can see the DT as he's getting hit in the backfield. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜πŸ˜‚
  12. Agree, VERY slim chance and still wouldn't be excited about it. I'm good with OL, but I reserve the right to change my mind based upon FA.😁
  13. For those of you that think Robinson MIGHT be there at 27 and think he is the next Barkley I have a question. Giants pick at 25, do you think Schoen and Dabol are sitting there thinking the same? My darker side also says Schoen and Dabol would do it in spite if they could. πŸ‘Ή Some thoughts. They could save major cap space without re-signing Barkley and get the same player. They could tag and trade Barkley and recoup draft capital. Heck, they could even eat half of 2023 salary and still make out. So, I seriously doubt he is there at 27. Not even sure he'll be there at 25...
  14. Using others thoughts. Drafted Harrison and moving Dawkins to LG. Campbell to replace Edmunds. Tippmann to either replace Morse or put at RG and move Bates to Center. Johnson to replace Singletary. Bigger, Stronger and Faster. Jarrett as a WR#2. I just really LIKE this kid. Other than the size of his hands, I picture a Diggs jr.πŸ˜‰ Bernard-Converse (CB/S) to replace Poyer (sorry) he takes one DB spot and Benford takes the other. Use the money saved from Morse to re-sign Boetteger, maybe another slot wr and depth OLine piece.
  15. Fine. I'll give them Edmunds, Oliver and Singletary for Parsons and Diggs. That's 3 for 2 and for good measure, I'll even throw in a 24' 7th Just so we can bring the brothers together. /end sarcasm. 🀷
  16. Just circling back. Finally got to check Demus out a bit more. Quite the injury. Ouch. I'm sure it had an impact and you're right. A big body wr. To be honest, with what I read and watched, it didn't "excite " me much. But while researching him, I also looked at a couple of others as well. As a "Big Body" later round pick, I kind of like Elijah Higgins from Stanford. Talk about a BIG Body. Might even go the TE route.πŸ€”. Plus must have some intelligence to him being a Stanford guy. Also like AT Perry and J. Mingo if we go "Bigger" versus quick/speedy. Any thoughts on Higgins?
  17. Only if your looking at rnd 1. I think there are some mid to late rounders that could fill the wr2 role.
  18. Still think we need to trade down from 27 a few spots if we can. But without trades and some thoughts on FA, not too bad.
  19. Not speaking for Badol, but, OL, WR2, improved play from Slot WR, better play calls...
  20. They can, but, I would really like to have a vet next to Brown and if they end up putting Bates at center, I'd still like a vet sandwiched between them. At least until confidence is built with Brown at RT. JMO.
  21. Not if they grab a couple of starters for the OL in FA...😁
