  1. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Darryl Talley. We all know how much he meant to those early 90s teams. But he never got anywhere near the recognition nationally that the other stars on those teams got. Was a Pro Bowl snub a few times. He really was the heart and soul of those defenses.
  2. I was at the 6-3 Browns game. I can't think of the year. 2010 maybe. Derek Anderson completed 2 passes and the Browns won. The Bills committed a ridiculous number of false start penalties and I think the game ended on a Roscoe Parish fumble on a punt return. I've never felt the need to rewatch any portion of that game.
  3. I'm not sure if they were being sarcastic or not. They were praising Josh for being at OTAs with the wedding being so close. They were also discussing what you would get 2 celebrity millionaires as a wedding gift.
  4. Mike Catalana and Jenna Cotrell said on a recent episode of Buffalo Plus that they were invited.
  5. Chris Spielman has gotten a lot of mentions and he would have to be my pick. I remember watching Sports Center and hearing that the Bills had signed him. I was so excited and started celebrating. My sister came downstairs to see what I was yelling about. It's a shame he only played one full season in Buffalo. He sustained a neck injury halfway through his second year which basically ended his career. He took the following season off to take care of his wife. Then he was traded to the Browns and reinjured his neck in training camp and called it a career.
  6. I remember Atlanta running it when June Jones was there. I remember Jones and Jeff George getting into a shouting match on the sidelines. They signed Eric Metcalf in 1995 and converted him to WR. He, Bert Emanuel, and Terrence Mathis all had 1000 yard seasons that year
  7. He was in rough shape when he was inducted into the HOF. It was only a matter of time. Sad! I'm 45 so I barely remember his playing career. But I remember his wrestling career. He was pretty entertaining in that genre.
  8. I have to admit I listened to the game on the radio. My dad lived in Hamlin at the time and we were making the every other weekend shuffle back to my mom's in Elmira... A few of the players that were interviewed for "Four Falls of Buffalo" joked about the number of people they've talked to over the years that claimed to have been there. My grandparents' neighbor was there. He's the guy they always show in the highlights holding the sign that said "I don't hear any fat lady singing". One of my brother's friends was in that group too.
  9. Fans complain about a player not chasing a championship and going for the money. Kevin Durant chased a championship when he signed with Golden State and fans acted like he was the biggest POS in NBA history.
  10. I got the impression towards the end of last season that CBS was starting to groom Burleson for that role. He was taking the lead during some segments and JB kinda laid out
  11. I see what you did there! 🤣
  12. I did both on a vacation about 8-10 years ago. Great trip. I stayed just outside of Cleveland. Canton is only about a 45 minute drive from Cleveland. The house from A Christmas Story is also in Cleveland. Did a tour of that as well. It was my second time going to the Pro Football HOF. I'd been as a teenager. It's so much bigger and better than it was then. I also went to some really cool restaurants in Cleveland. The Melt, Happy Dog, and Great Lakes Brewing are musts if you're in that area.
  13. The fact that Thurman Thomas only had 15 carries in that game was criminal!
  14. I literally just posted this, then saw this post, and deleted mine. I quoted the same post as well. 🤣
  15. When Rex hired his brother I changed the name of my fantasy football team to "Two Ryans Don't Make a Right". I went to the Bills/Jets game at Met Life at the end of that 2016 season, the week after Rex had been fired. I lost count of how many Jets fans came up to us in the parking lot wanting to know if we were happy that he was gone.
  16. I'm glad to see someone is brave enough to admit it
  17. She still looks INCREDIBLE!
  18. My brother got robbed in Nashville a day or 2 before the MNF game a couple years ago when the Bills went for the win and Josh slipped on the QB sneak at the goal line. He was sitting in a bar at a table next to a window. The window was open. He took his wallet out of his pocket and set that and a couple of other things on the table. Just trying to get organized I guess. Somebody from outside jumped halfway through the window and snatched his wallet. My brother tried to chase the guy but he jumped on an electric scooter and sped off. Not as bad as your story but still pretty s*****
  19. His performance in the game before he was benched was really bad too. His benching was justified. It just wound up being a disaster.
  20. Apparently there was a brief, jovial sideline exchange between Tyrod and McDermott. I missed it if there was. My dad mentioned it to me
  21. Wouldn't have made the news
  22. I started watching the Buffalo Plus YouTube channel during training camp this year. I enjoy the chemistry the 3 of them have. I saw Jenna walking around at the practice I went to. She looks even better in person.
  23. Brady introduced himself to Josh's dad at a golf event last year and the first thing he said was "I love your son" The term check down isn't really a dirty word. It only has a negative connotation to Bills fans because of Trent Edwards and the nickname "Captain Check Down" 😆
  24. Ralph was from Detroit. According to the Bills 50th anniversary DVD he and his father had a small stake in the Lions at one point. As far as Miami goes, I remember hearing there was an issue with a lease for the Orange Bowl and Ralph chose Buffalo instead.
  25. Hard to believe it's been 10 years. My dad, brother, some friends, and I went to the home opener against Miami after it was announced that the Pegula's had agreed to buy the team. They also had the ceremony to honor Ralph. Jim Kelly was in the early stages of his cancer battle. The ovation he got when he stepped up to the podium to speak at the ceremony gave me chills. What an atmosphere that day! Not to mention the Bills went on the beat the snot out of the Dolphins that day too.
