Toney is a former 1st rounder that looked much better with the Chiefs. Moore is a 2nd rounder going into year two. Paired with Kelce and MVS that is a very solid receiving core.

Oddly, the D has lost the most talent you could say and still has so questions but I still have a lot of confidence they will perform well. I think that falls on believing that McD can figure it out. They need to get Hopkins, Jeudy or somebody. If not, they are drafting one and hoping for an immediate impact which is not a sure thing. There is work to do and things that need to go right.

But it is easy to move money around. Every team does it. If you want to get something done you can do it. The Bills dont have a single guy over $20M this year and only a handful above $10M. They have guys left to restrux. A ton of expiring midlevel contracts they can get out of in the next year or two. Outside of a team like CIN that has young guys and is winning now, most super bowl caliber teams have quite a few very high level contracts.

KC signed Hill to 3/$54M, Kelce 4/$60M and Mahomes deal. On top this they handed out other huge contracts to OL and defensive players. They restrux, move money around, swap out players, etc. But they have done what it takes to ensure they have enough talent while paying a huge QB contract.

He is not a #2. He is a 3-5 WR. He can have a big play here and there but is not a reliable every-down target. Too many drops, not enough ability to get open. Send him deep occasionally or a quick post but that's it. Lok at the number. He has 11 games with 1 or less passes in this offense. He only has a handful of games with even 5 catches. Compare that with Higgins or other teams #2. Its night and day.

Yep. No way around spending $. You draft well you can spend less on free agents but will have to if you want to keep those guys. Draft poorly and you’re constantly paying to get talent. Key is getting the QB position right. Do that and you do whatever is needed to win because you have a shot.

Davis has 11 games out of 47 with 1 or less catches. That is 1 in 4 games. Hopkins only has 6 in 162 games. That 1 in 25 games.

Trade Oliver Sign Ford and Campbell Get Hopkins Sign Wagner

Hopkins not being a bill would be a big letdown at this point.

If we move Ed maybe we get Ford for less. I would swap out Oliver if its needed to bring D Hop, Wagner and Ford. Get D Hop. Worry about Ed later.

We have Diggs and guys that anyone outside of Buffalo fans would call avg players. Davis is our #2 and is 4th round pick. Shakir is #3 and is a 5th round pick that has done nothing. Sherfield and Harty are 4&5 and are both take-a-flyer type players.

If Lavante David only got $5M per then Wagner will be that or less. We can afford it. 2 year deal, can still draft Campbell.
