  1. Not what you want but which QB do you think the Jets will take?? I say Allen. I think they love the big arm, and I think NFL gms are too awestruck by his huge arm. Any coach, GM, staff already knows they can "fix" his inefficiencies.
  2. I was always partial to billszone, but this board is much better!!
  3. I agree, but more than likely a deal is setup. It's going to depend on the first 3 picks IMO. I don't think NYG are trading out of 2
  4. I'd give up 53 for him, and possibly 2019 4th
  5. Good draft! I threw my changer and broke it, but I was happy and put it back together when we took Jackson
  6. I like Snead alot, but how much does he want??
  7. I think they'll try to get Rosen, but it's in the Jets hands. If they draft Rosen at 3, then I think we go after Allen. That's not what I want, I'd rather have Mayfield, but they know better
  8. Ok, this is my best shot.... Truth be told, I was just like you 2 weeks ago. Hated, and was very spiteful about the Bills possibly drafting Allen. When all these rumors surfaced about Allen, I did research. I watched Matt Waldman's scouting report video (about 35 minutes long). I also watched many of his games, along with Carson Wentz whom is his most compared player. I came away with this.... Cannon for an arm!! That ball rockets out of his right arm with ease. He can make some amazing throws!! Sidelines, touch passes, short stuff, deep balls, over the middle, you name it, and he can do it! His accuracy is overblown IMO. Is he as accurate as Mayfield, heck no. But, his receivers were not very good, and dropped alot of his passes, and I think alot of throws he threw incomplete were caught if he played for Oklahoma or USC. He can really make plays with his feet. He is very good in RPO's and read option situations. He's a humble, hard-working, and determined young man that I think will be a great leader in the locker room If he has good coaching & development, he could easily be the best QB of this class Watch some of his 2016 game film where he has a little bit better talent around him, and you'll see flashes of brilliance I still am team Rosen/Mayfield, and thats who I hope we draft, but I like the idea of Allen, and if he's the one, I'll be excited and trust in our FO
  9. I think Beane, Gettleman, and all these GM's are being thorough and patient. These are decisions that could get them fired, and I totally get them all being patient and methodical. IMHO, at the end of the day on April 26th, we will be @2 drafting Rosen!
  10. Who knows what they are doing, but IMHO, I really believe it's only a matter of time the Bills get the #2 pick
  11. My 2 cents of what I think will happen (not just what I want to happen)..... Browns- take Darnold, 95% sure Giants- I believe they are in "win-now mode." Rosen would sit the bench or Eli would, and in the NYG's eyes, that's a waste of a good player. They will take the Bills large offer of 12, 22, 53, 65, plus 2019 2nd rounder. The Bills draft Josh Rosen!! Jets- Josh Allen or Baker Mayfield, but I think they will take Allen Browns- Denzel Ward Broncos- Quentin Nelson Colts- (trade with Miami or Arizona)- whatever QB is left either Mayfield or Allen. Bucs- Barkley 49ers- Bradley Chubb Bears- Minkah Fitzpatrik Raiders- Roquan Smith
  12. I wouldn't be surprised if McBeane had three different trade scenario's already lined up. 1st- trade up to #2 draft Rosen, if the Giants say no.... 2nd- trade up to #4 draft Mayfield, if the Browns say no.... 3rd- trade up to #6 draft Mayfield/Allen
  13. You're probably right, but I think thats easy to say bc Garoppolo has a larger and more dated sample size.
  14. Call me crazy, but convince why he isn't just as good as Garrappolo?? Accurate passer, intelligent, potential, and knows how to win football games.
  15. I've come around on Josh Allen. I've watched alot of his tape, and he has got immense potential. Rosen is better right now, but in 2-3 years, Allen could easily be the best QB of this 2018 class. He can make any throw, make plays with his feet, run RPO's in our offensive scheme, and with good coaching & development, I really think he's going to be a good QB for some team.
  16. I just don't see us passing on Rosen, but if Allen is the pick, I trust McBeane!
  17. They should not be!! I can't think of ANY reason for them not to move up to get Rosen. If we get the 2nd pick and Rosen or Darnold are there to pick, that's what we absolutely need to do. Yes, its costly, and draft picks could help to, but get the QB while you can, and thats not something we have to worry about for a long time.
  18. I think, even guys like Sheffter/Rappaport/etc, all the guys with all the inside info, don't really know what these GM's are thinking for sure. Some of these GM's, like Beane, may not have closure about their decision. What makes sense though, is the Bills have almost hand shake deals with another team at spots 2/3/4/or 5, but they are being patient, methodical, and trying to get the most value out of this decision. Beane is way to smart and methodical to give up "the farm" to get his franchise QB. He's going to try to spin this, as best he can, and try not to give up as much as he has to, unless he has to. At the end of the day, the only ones that know are God and Brandon Beane!!
  19. Very true. Totally agree, but I really hope I'm right. Go Bills!
  20. This Josh Allen stuff is Brandon Beane throwing a bone for his agent, who is someone he has already dealt with, and probably needs to be in good graces with. Beane is taking up his client to remain loyal to a valued colleague. I think the Bills like him, but they like Rosen, Darnold, and Mayfield, and in that order. They are loud with their praise, and that's all them playing poker. Not showing their hand!! Very calculated, as always. Seriously, Beane is a negotiating genius!! He's not going to tell people he loves Allen before individual/private meetings. They don't have closure on this decision yet, and they shouldn't bc they should definitely be thorough!!I think if the Bills can't trade up, which isn't going to happen IMO, they would be smart to take Allen at 12, if the big 3 are gone. My prediction, is trade up to 3 with Indy, (12,22,56, 101, future 3rd for 3,67) And.......Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA. Beer, cheering, tears of joy, fist bumps, chest bumps, more beer....
  21. Doug Whaley is that you?? Sorry, but this organization isn't privy to anything but a top QB!
