  1. Totally agree that moving way up is the way to go. I'm just wondering what everyone think TB's market value is. If we can't move up into the top 5, and we draft Jackson/Allen/Rudolph, then I like the idea of Bridgewater as a bridge QB Very true, but I doubt any team wants to commit past 1 year bc of the drastic nature of his injury. He's definetly on a "prove it" type deal. Some team might be desperate, but given the dollars is costs to sign QB's, Bridgewater might have to settle for a 1-year deal. Sorry if I didn't reply to those, but I probably did! I am a total addict about us upgrading the QB position.
  2. If you really believe & think that, then, with all do respect, you are going to be wrong! They (McBeane) have 1-2 targets, and have had them for while, and they will be aggressive to get a franchise QB, as they should
  3. He absolutely is imho Better arm, much more accurate Loves to throw intermediate and long passes Was a very high level prospect coming out good feet and clean mechanics
  4. What is his market value?? Gotta say I'm VERY intrigued with him. Very nice prospect that offers alot of risk but huge reward. Not an agent but,....... 1 year 10 million dollar contract with plenty of incentives???
  5. I wish April 26th would just hurry up and get here!!
  6. You are certainly entitled to your own opinion, and I respect your boldness! IMHO, I don't offer KW 1 year/5.5 mill as a favor, but b/c he can still play at a high level. I wouldn't go higher b/c 35 is starting to get very dicey.
  7. Simple question. If you were the GM, what would you offer Kyle Williams. This is a very tough question, b/c his market value is probably around 4-5 mill, but if I were Kyle (or his agent) he'll probably want/ask north of that figure. So, if I countered with, and this is my answer to this question, I'd offer 1 year, 5.5 million. I probably wouldn't go higher than 6, and certainly wouldn't go into the 7+ range. I'd hate to see him go, but 35 is 35. Whatever happens here, Kyle is still a Bill Wall of famer, and wish him the best where ever he decides to play next year.
  8. Yeah, I broke my rule!! I think these 6 guys are all first round guys, and after these 6, there is a HUGE drop off. Probably should've put that in my post, but I did state that if I had to pick one, I'd pick Allen over Rudolph
  9. If we are comparing Allen & Rosen, then I completely agree. Allen has a cannon!! Rosen has a very strong arm, but not like Allen. I should have put strong arm, not cannon
  10. First and foremost, I will NEVER quit loving this team!!! No matter what dumb things they or the Sabres ever do!! A fan means you never waver... I would be very po'ed if we did not draft a QB in the 1st round I would be very mad if we did not move up into the top 5. I don't care what it costs. We need a top, franchise level QB. No more EJ's, Losman's, Trent's, Tyrod's. Lets get a guy we love!!
  11. I respect your difference of opinion, and like the use of satire!! Please enlighten me as to why you don't like Rosen. Here is why I love Rosen - very accurate passer, especially on intermediate & deep balls - great size, cannon for an arm - great in the pocket, and always has his eyes looking down the field - sees the field very well & goes through progressions very well - great in the clutch, see the Texas A&M game - highly intelligent
  12. Simple question, who are your top 5 in this years draft? Here's mine.... 5. Josh Allen & Mason Rudolph- but if I had to pick only 1, I'd pick Allen b/c of his raw potential. Allen could easily be the best QB in this draft. He could also be a huge bust. 4. Lamar Jackson- super athletic, better passer than many give him credit for, and I think could be a better version of Cam Newton 3. Sam Darnold- Most natural passer. Checks all the boxes. Very solid prospect, and will probably the 1st overall pick 2. Baker Mayfield- don't care if he is short to NFL standards. He can play!! Very accurate, can make plays with his feet, and looks like a mix of Favre & Steve Young. Would love to draft this kid!! 1. Josh Rosen- IMHO, he's the best QB prospect since Luck. He can make so many throws look so effortless. Reads the field well, highly intelligent, and I really hope all this smoke is true, and we make the move to get this stud!!
  13. Are you kidding?? Rosen actually gives us a REAL chance not just to win, but win championships! IMHO, he's the best QB prospect to come out for the draft since Luck
  14. I am quite confident, that if we really like LJ, and our plan is to wait @21 to take him, he will be gone. I don't see him falling to us, and I think its very possible he goes top 10.
