  1. I am going to exclude Darnold here, bc IMO, he's either going to Cleveland @1 or to NYG @2. The question is, not who you want, but who do you think Beane will take whenever they pick, whether that is 2, 3, 4, or whatever?? Allen, Rosen, or Mayfield? To answer my own question, I really feel that this organization is very high on Josh Allen. I think they value both McCarron and Peterman, enough to give either of them a chance to play in 2018, and let Allen "develop." I think the Bills, and many other NFL clubs, really LOVE his arm & athleticism, and I also think that Beane sees alot of Cam Newton in Allen. Once again, this is who I think the Bills want, and wouldn't be my choice. This would be quite unpopular, especially if he goes before Rosen and/or Mayfield. What say you? BTW, Go Bills and less than 2 weeks to go!!
  2. Call me crazy, but I like this kid. I think he's got av shot to be REALLY good
  3. I think this draft is going to be REALLY CRAZY. Lots of panic, the word smokescreen about one billion more times, and lots of beer and liquor consumption. Also alot of bs posts
  4. Based on things I read I do think Mayfield is their guy. I hope they are wrong, and I do admit there is a significant chance they like Rosen more than Mayfield.
  5. He won't bc he's probably going to #3 to the Jets. I hate it, but thats whats probably going to happen
  6. Oh heck yes!! That would be amazing!! I wish I could snap my fingers, and boom, its draft day!!
  7. We will be okay. This is a setback, no doubt, but we can sign a street FA that can do a serviceable job. Get the QB
  8. That's the smart thing to do for like a million reasons!
  9. I think anyone of this board, or any fan, that has negativity on Rudolph hasn't done too much studying on his game. The narrative on him is what many non-informed people will go with. He's Bryce Petty part deux, he's a system QB, doesn't have ideal arm strength, and is only a one-read QB is a bunch of non-sense IMO. Rudolph is a very good prospect for several reasons. First, he's a captain and a 4-year starter for a power conference team Second, he's a winner, a leader, a hard-worker, tough, and many other intangibles that you need to have at this position. Third, Rudolph is a very accurate passer, especially with his deep ball. His completion percentage went up every year at OSU. Forth, we could get him at 12, and maybe even at 22. We'd be able to draft him, and take care of other needs. Fifth, IMO, he would've gone much higher in this draft, but since he didn't play in the Senior Bowl, that hurt his stock alot IMO
  10. First off, the longer the draft process goes, the more I believe Beane and what he's said in Press Conferences leading up to the draft. I think, at this moment in time, they have a general idea of who they like at QB, but these private workouts will cement their evaluation. I believe they have grades/values on these QB's and based on how the draft plays out, is what they will do. Methodical approach of course, which is what they do... I also believe that nobody knows who the Bills are gonna take except the Bills. These rumors, whispers, etc is all smoke, and Buffalo is obviously very good at keeping their info top secret. Here are the trade up scenarios I think the Bills are going to consider... Move up to #2 pick: What's the holdup?? Possibly the Browns. If they take Allen, then the Giants will take Darnold, if Cleveland does take Darnold, I think the Giants will weigh their decision, but if they trade w/ us, they'd get 12, 22, 53, 65, 2019 2nd or 3rd, and we'd take Rosen, not Allen like many have said. At the end of the day, I predict the Giants like Barkley or Chubb too much to move down, and the Giants will stay @2. Move to #4 or #5: I think Cleveland might decline to move down if Barkley is still there, but if Barkley is gone, they might move down, but maybe they like Chubb so much, they don't move. I think if they did move we'd give up 12, 22, 53, and maybe a future late round pick. Same with Denver, but I don't think they'd move down to 12 b/c they want Chubb/Nelson/Barkely. I also think that Denver would take Allen if he's available, but I think they will take a non-QB if they stay with the pick. My prediction is both Cleveland & Denver will stay pat, and both will not draft a QB. Move to 6-9'ish range: I think this is where we are targeting the most. We don't have to give up as much, and we can still draft a QB we covet and high a very high grade on. I think the Bills know they aren't in the Sam Darnold discussion, but IMO, I think they are locked on Rosen or Mayfield, if they move into the top 10 range. I think the Colts, Bucs, or 49ers all have a very legit chance to move down. We'd give up 12 & 22, and maybe a bit more, and target Mayfield or Rosen as our teams next QB. This is the scenario I see happening the most. Stay @12, give up none of our premium picks, and take Roquan Smith if he's there, if not, I think they'll take Rudolph. Is that a reach, of course it is, but if we wait on 22nd pick, he might be long gone. IMHO, I'd be happy with Rudolph. I really, really, really want Mayfield or Rosen, but if it doesn't happen, I'd be very happy with Rudolph for a variety of reasons. What say you?? Go Bills!!
  11. Moore is my favorite player in this draft that's not a QB or roquan Smith
  12. 23 days. I am going nuts. This sucks waiting. I want the draft like yesterday
  13. - Not have to give up nearly as much. - Cleveland passes on moving down bc they covet Barkley - Could draft with Denver, but I honestly think they'd take Chubb or Nelson before Mayfield
  14. By doing this, my dream draft Mayfield DJ Moore Fred Warner or Jefferson Penny
  15. Saw this on Twitter via @itsbabydom BUF trade #12 and #53 to TB for #7 overall BUF trades #7, #96 and #121 to DEN for #5 and #149 BUF will have #5, #22, #56, and #65 in the top 100.
  16. What's not to like about Rudolph? He's a very good prospect. Great kid, ideal size, accurate passer, winner, 4-year starter, can throw the deep ball, and moves very well in the pocket. If Rudolph didn't get hurt & played in the Senior Bowl, he'd be a top 15 draft pick.
  17. I just wish time would fly, and April 26th was like now!!
  18. You might be right, but I think Cleveland will take Darnold.
  19. BTW, here are 2 scenario's I could see very much playing out.... Scenario #1 (aggressive & we "get" our guy) 1. Cleveland- Darnold 2. NYG- Chubb/Barkley 3. Jets- Rosen/Allen 4. Cleveland (Trade w/ Bills)- We give up 12, 22, & 53 (2350 value, which is 550 more value points @4 spot). We are taking no chances with Denver. We want either Rosen/Mayfield/Allen (in that order). Scenario #2 (more patient & give up less, and take a chance of Denver passing on a QB) 1. Cleveland- Darnold 2. NYG- Chubb/Barkley 3. Jets- Rosen/Allen 4. Cleveland- Chubb/Barkley 5. Denver- Nelson/Rosen/Allen. Some will say, where's Mayfield, but IMHO, I think if, big if, Denver takes a QB, I believe they covet Rosen/Allen much more than Mayfield. 6. Indy (trade w/ Bills)- We give up 12 & 22 (1980 value vs. 1700 value @ pick 6). We take Mayfield here or possibly Allen or Rosen if they slip. Plus, we still have both 2nd's, and both 3rd's what say you??
  20. I see alot of validity to us liking Baker Mayfield for several reasons. He's a 4-year college performer, who won alot, and was a team captain. I think that these player traits are very big to McBeane, and with all their talk about process, mindset, and culture, Mayfield totally fits this criteria. Mayfield is great in the pocket, laser accurate (premium for our decision makers IMO), and can make plays with his feet if need be. He can be had probably as early as 4, but might slide to 7 or 8. This way, we will not have to give up nearly as much as we would to move up to #2. If he slide to #6, and we traded with Indy, we'd probably still have both 2nd's and both 3rd's. McBeane are methodical and smart. They know what the fans want, and I think they care what the fans want, to a certain extent. Not that they will pick Mayfield just to make us happy, but I think its also appealing to them to draft Mayfield b/c it be a great perceived move on their part.
  21. Good point, and I think the the Bills FO puts a premium on these traits. Mayfield screams like he is a McDermott/Beane "guy"
  22. Get me to #2, and give me Rosen. Close second option would be trade to 4, and get Baker Mayfield
