Lauletta or Rudolph? Who is the better prospect?
DCOrange replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I prefer Lauletta by a significant margin. I think his best case scenario is probably Alex Smith level player and I don’t really see that kind of ceiling for Rudolph. I’d take Lauletta in the 2nd round and take Rudolph in like the 4th. I would definitely prefer one of the 5 first round guys though. -
I’m a big fan of Lock but it looks like a shallow class right now. There’s some intriguing small school guys though, like Easton Stick. Definitely prefer this year’s class but next year should be interesting too.

I don’t think Cleveland should take Barkley honestly. Hyde/Duke is a good RB duo as is and with all their Day 2 picks, they can add another very good RB without having to use the #4 pick to do so. I dont think they’ll hit 8 wins this season but I don’t think buffalo will either. It’ll be close between the two teams this year but I like how Cleveland is building their team.

Not that he'll basically ever be asked to do it, but the effortless looking 80 yard passes that he made were absolutely insane lol.

Big Day Today: Josh Allen Pro Day 2pm on NFL Network
DCOrange replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand what some of the reports say. I’m skeptical that it’s true. Edit: I hope that report is true. Rosen is the one I want the Jets to take personally. -
Well that Seals it Josh Allen # 1 over all

I wouldn’t be surprised if they take a QB, but I don’t think it’ll be in the first round -

I think Baltimore should be on the list too -
Big Day Today: Josh Allen Pro Day 2pm on NFL Network

I think Rosen is the one that will slide. Not sure who the Jets take between Allen and Mayfield but I don’t think they’re taking Rosen. -
Keeping in mind that these ratings do not factor rushing in at all, which obviously hurts Lamar the most. The overall rankings are: 1. Baker Mayfield (4th highest they've had dating back to 1997, behind only Philip Rivers, Carson Palmer, and Donovan McNabb) 2. Lamar Jackson 3. Josh Rosen 4. Sam Darnold 5. Mason Rudolph 6. Luke Falk 7. Kyle Lauletta 8. Josh Allen

This and the LB depth chart make me want to vomit.

Are we going to do a mock forum draft?

I'll take the Bucs -
Those are some super high expectations.

WR Terrelle Pryor Agrees to a Deal with the NYJ
DCOrange replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Buffalo’s #2 WR last year was a guy that got cut from a team with the worst receiving corps in the league. Pryor easily would have been in contention for the #2 spot on the Bills last year even with his pathetic level of play. -
Nah not really. He’s a pretty good prospect in his own right though.

In-Depth Breakdown of Lamar Jackson by Eliot Crist
DCOrange replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder if part of Houston working him out is because they see the Jaguars as a possibility for him and want to figure out what makes him tick in case he ends up in their division. -
Deonte Thompson signs with Cowboys
DCOrange replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't mind letting Deonte walk; he's a fringe roster guy on most teams. Unfortunately for the Bills, the WR depth chart is so awful that he was the #2. -
They will almost certainly sign AND draft LBs. This is probably the weakest position on the roster right now.

I'm not sure that this is proof that he's consistently accurate, but thanks for showing us some of the highlights. All the film I've watched has been the complete game film, but seeing some of his highlights all together like that is so much fun. Simply put, on his good days, he can make throws that no other QB in this draft class would even attempt to make, for better or worse.

Zay Jones just impacted our draft
DCOrange replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, he's a free agent. -
Dropped passes are obviously a big deal, but it's important to consider the fact that a contested catch that gets dropped doesn't go down as a drop. This is important for two reasons in this case: 1. The offensive system that Wyoming uses naturally doesn't create as many openings as offenses at Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, UCLA, etc. do. 2. Wyoming's WRs had a lot of issues with creating separation in general. For example, one of his earlier games, maybe against Hawaii, his WRs dropped like half of his passes, but I would bet that most of them weren't counted as drops because he was threading the needle to WRs that weren't very open. This isn't to suggest that we should ignore all of the red flags with Allen and that he'll definitely be good, but simply pointing to drop percentage doesn't give you the complete picture of the quality of the WRs.
