Sammy Watwins to KC on a 3 Year Deal

That Mike Evans extension looks really good now. -
Josh Rosen has "Bust" written ALL over him.

It makes all the sense in the world that people that dislike the star of their team/potential #1 pick would only say so anonymously. The fact that so many teams have said so and so many reporters have heard it from different sources makes it pretty likely that he is indeed not very well liked. That doesn’t mean that nobody likes him and it doesn’t mean he isn’t a great prospect regardless, but I highly doubt there’s a league wide conspiracy to make Rosen sound like a douche. -
What if the trade up to #12 is just a ruse?

I’m almost certain that this is all to finally get the QB, but I’d give it like a 10% chance that they sit tight at 12 and take Roquon or Edmunds instead. -

Eh, those last 20 minutes included like 3 or 4 passes that should have been picked off. A&M just completely collapsed. During the comeback: 4:05 - Fumbles but his team thankfully recovered 6:50 - An absolutely horrible throw that should have sealed the game and it somehow turns into a UCLA TD 7:20 - Tough catch, but another poor decision that hits the linebacker right in the hand. 8:15 - It's 1st down and he decides it's a good idea to make what's basically a leaping backwards off the wrong foot throw and just throws it up for grabs and his team happens to come up with it. 8:42 - Almost picked off by 2 different guys 9:07 - Throws it right to the defense but they drop it again That game was won by an absolute act of God haha. Definitely one of the most fun college games to watch this year, but I'd look at his performance against USC as the one that gets you really excited about him as a prospect personally. -
WHATS THE MOVE FOR OUR WR SITUATION
DCOrange replied to DKBills25's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Based on the Bills' apparent plan to stock up on compensatory picks/avoid guys that would cost them picks, I think they should wait around and see if Jordy Nelson and or Dez Bryant are released as some expect and potentially target one of them to play on the outside with Zay moving to the slot. In the draft, I think DJ Moore is the best WR in the class and assuming he's gone before Buffalo can take him, I like Equanemeous St. Brown as far as the Day 2 WRs go. On Day 3, I like J'Mon Moore if we're talking about an outside guy and Trey Quinn if they want another slot guy. -

I think he was actually pretty bad in that game. If Texas A&M could catch he would have had like 6 turnovers in that game. It was a classic case of a team snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Having said that, Rosen's a very good prospect; he had far better games that one. -
RUMOR: EJ Gaines to the Bucs when FA opens
DCOrange replied to CNY315's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's possible, but that really just gives Tampa 1 good corner. They still need one more on the outside and even with all the re-signings they've made, they have the space to pretty easily afford Gaines if they want him. -
Jordy Nelson or Randall Cobb to be cut?
DCOrange replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh, well that's completely different than not being able to afford it. You're really just saying that it wouldn't be wise to spend their money that way. That's a reasonable argument to make. -
Jordy Nelson or Randall Cobb to be cut?
DCOrange replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why is this? Unless I'm missing something, they have roughly $18 million in cap space right now and Jordy & Cobb each free up roughly $10 mil. They can probably cut one and sign Sammy and still have roughly $18 mil left over. -
Jordy Nelson or Randall Cobb to be cut?
DCOrange replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would guess Jordy is the one that gets released based on the types of WRs they're targeting; they're targeting wide outs and Cobb is a slot guy. -
Does Chenelly still have it? We are trageting Keenum

Ugh. I just don't like the fit with Buffalo at all. -
I'm sure that Bradford's agent is one of the sources they used, but he isn't the only one.
-
I promise you that Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero are not reporting that a team is interested if their source is a random guy with a blog saying it might make sense lol. They have multiple sources telling them that Buffalo is interested in Bradford.
-
I think Bradford is a very good QB when healthy, but I don't know how you sign a guy to be a bridge QB that you simply can't rely upon to be healthy enough to be a bridge QB.
-
I think Bradford ends up being the one left standing when the game of musical chairs ends but we'll see. I'd guess it's him or McCarron that's forced to sign somewhere to a backup QB deal for like $7-8 million.
-
It's pretty nuts how many QBs Buffalo has been connected to at this point, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Bills themselves don't really know exactly what they're going to do. I wouldn't be surprised if they're basically pursuing every angle possible right now and then figuring out later which angles are actually conceivable/which angles they want to commit to.

I think they always made sense considering his being on a one year deal and the fact that they led the NFL in turnovers last year. Getting Alex Smith right was the one I’m pretty proud about because that one seemed pretty out of the blue.
-
There was a thread about this a while back (before the Alex Smith trade and before AJ McCarron won his appeal) and these were my predictions then. It seems like my Cousins prediction is going to be wrong; I thought Minnesota made the most sense for him but it didn't sound like they were going to pursue him at the time so I put him in Denver instead. I'd guess McCarron ends up in Buffalo when it's all said and done. I still think the rest of my predictions are pretty much in play though.
