Why is Derrius Guice showing up at #22 for the Bills?
DCOrange replied to Punt75's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s because Ivory isn’t good at Guice is one of the guys the Bills met with at the combine. -
To be fair, Allbright also pointed out that it's the same source as the guy that leaked out Buffalo's interest in Peterman and Buffalo has been leaking interest in literally every QB lol

Saquon Barkley is not going #1 overall
DCOrange replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’ll be one of the roommates going #1: Darnold or Allen -
Is it possible Jets are targeting Allen instead of Rosen?
DCOrange replied to LA Grant's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Allen is the guy that they’re actually rumored to be most interested in -
If Rudolph is their guy, they should trade down. Maybe Cinci would be interested in moving up from 21 to 12. Rudolph will be available there still.

Jets just traded with Colts for #3 pick in first round

Bridgewater is a free agent next year and the Jets have already announced that Josh McCown will be their starter this season. -

For what it's worth, Charlie Campbell reported a few months ago that the guy that told him the Jets wanted Hackenburg hinted that the Jets badly wanted Josh Allen. -
One of two things happened with this Jets trade: 1. The Colts valued #6 over anything Buffalo could offer. This probably only makes sense if they badly want Chubb/Barkley still or if they think they'll be able to trade down again from #6 to to get even more assets 2. The Bills didn't want to move up to #3. This would seem to imply that they have a smaller move up in their plans, though I guess the idea of jumping up to #2 can't be completely written off.

If you get "stuck" with the 4th or 5th best QB...
DCOrange replied to mjd1001's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I personally think the 5th "best" QB is actually the best one this year, so I'd be fine with taking him. -
Gonna try to give some players that I haven't really seen mentioned for the Bills but I think make sense (which means avoiding QBs because Buffalo has been matched with all of them by now lol). I'm also going to skip the O-Line because I just don't know very much about them. 12: Roquon Smith/Tremaine Edmunds - I think it has to be a QB or LB here and these are the two LBs worth taking at 12. 22: DJ Moore - I think DJ Moore is the best WR in the draft class, a Stefon Diggs-esq WR. He's incredibly explosive after the catch and could wreak havoc in the Daboll system. 53: Nathan Shepherd - He's a very raw prospect, but he has all the makings of a great DT and I think Kyle Williams could be a good mentor for him/placeholder until Shepherd is ready to shine 56: Carlton Davis - He has the height and length that McDermott looks for in his corners. This is an awesome corner class and it would make a lot of sense to add one with Vontae's health. 65: Nick Chubb - He proved at the combine that his explosiveness has returned after his awful injury, and he's a beast of a runner. Day 3 guys: Genard Avery - An absolute freak athlete of a linebacker; I think he's likely a Sam at the next level. Nyheim Hines/Martez Carter - I group these two together because they're the same kind of prospect: big play threats out of the backfield that can also return kicks. Isaac Yiadom - Another corner with the length that McDermott likes J'Mon Moore - A tall vertical threat that was on the receiving end of a lot of Drew Lock's TDs this season.

First Pick @ 12 - Not a QB? How 'bout Vita?
DCOrange replied to Houston's #1 Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No way that Rudolph goes in the top 20 IMO. I'd be very shocked. I could maybe get the argument if Lamar was their guy; he could potentially get taken in the top 20, but I doubt Buffalo is taking either of them at this point. -
Bills Have a Standing Offer for LB Preston Brown
DCOrange replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's not a big loss, but LB is a gigantic need on this team. The Bills need to add at least 2 or 3 LBs between free agency and the draft. -

DCOrange replied to Houston's #1 Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I give it a 90% chance that they take a QB with their first pick and 10% chance that they make sure they get Tremaine Edmunds or Roquon Smith. I can't see them going in any other direction. -
RB Will Not Be a 2018 Draft Priority
DCOrange replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not saying I want Buffalo take a RB early, but I absolutely think they should be drafting one at some point this year. This year's class is so ridiculously stacked; even if it's the 5th or 6th rounder that they have, they should be able to get a decent change-of-pace guy. I'm still hoping for Nyheim Hines or Martez Carter on Day 3. -

Sad. -
It all depends on how much risk a team is comfortable with and whether or not they think Allen's main issue (his inconsistent accuracy) is fixable or not. If a team feels that Allen's passes are inconsistent due to poor footwork, they'll probably have him rated as their #1 or 2 QB in the draft because they'll just blame that on poor coaching and think that they can fix him, and with his physical tools, turn him into an elite QB. If a team feels that even with good footwork, Allen would still be inaccurate, they won't want him. In terms of the Bills connections to him, Benjamin Allbright (who I generally don't trust) reported that Buffalo was very interested in Nate Peterman the day before they drafted him, and he's saying that his same source has told him that Josh Allen is the guy this year (originally told him way back in like October, but has been consistent in that all year). On the flipside, Matt Miller has said that he's been hearing for like 6 months now that Sam Darnold is the #1 QB on the Bills' board and that no other team like Darnold as much as the Bills do. On top of that, there's been countless rumors at this point that the Bills supposedly love Rosen. And based on his interview with Beane, Joe Buscaglia came away thinking that Beane prioritizes arm strength over accuracy and off the top of my head, I think his belief is that Rosen and Allen are #1 and 2 on their draft board. One of these people is probably correct, but we probably won't know until the pick is made which person it was.

Who is your #2 WR to Target in free agency?
DCOrange replied to Bing Bong's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only one that's really interesting to me is Cameron Meredith. Maybe a little bit of interest in Brice Butler.
