Bills vs. Vikings 1st Half Game Day Thread
greeneblitz replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can honestly say that I'd cut Kelvin Benjamin and let the other younger guys play. -

Schopp and Sal going at it hard on wgr
greeneblitz replied to Brianmoorman4jesus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is outright not true, Sal was a big Peterman supporter from all the way back to the spring, and would get "upset" when fans complained that Allen should be starting once Peterman was named starter. "preseason game 3" enough said -

Schoppe is right on this one, you spend this much draft capital on a QB you definitely should defer to starting him UNLESS he's not ready, the real competition should have been Allen against himself and then the other 2 against each other for the number 2 spot, McDermott blew it and wasted so much development time on dead ends and have just prove the whole point of YES you do give special treatment to the 7th pick in the draft over a 5th round nothing. -
I Bet $5,000 on Minnesota. Should I Be Worried?
greeneblitz replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills are such an unknown, they're probably better than theyve pkayed so far, i wouldnt bet that, especially with a super talented but erratic rookie qb. -
Would you draft Oliver or Bosa?

Trade down 100% -
PFF, hahaha, try again, they so misuse stats and should never be trusted.

McDermott- Highest odds to be fired..
greeneblitz replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
While I agree it sounds far fetched these guys generally have a good grasp on reality, when nearly every one of you were gaga about Nathan Peterman being the next Tom Brady they had the line of Josh Allen starting 14.5 games this season and that sounded impossible at the time, lo and behold Allen's set to start 14.5 games. -
These are NFL policies not Buffalo Bills, they're dumb, yes, blame the Boston Bombers, that's where it all started and lines? that's just normal for every football game I've been to ever, mostly at halftime, I always go during the game and you get in and out.

There is a reason why no team in the NFL wants these players, this isn't Madden, players are a lot more than their ratings.

1. Manning 2. Brady 3. Montana 4. Marino 5. Favre 6. Elway 7. Young 8. Brees 9. Rodgers 10. Kelly

Nothing, it's probably going to be a bad season, everyone knows this including ownership I'm sure and "bench Allen"??? Him getting experience should be the whole point of the season.

Inspiration for Allen: Jim Kelly’s First Game
greeneblitz replied to Jukester's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Our fans today would be crying about sitting Jim Kelly until we can guarantee nobody can hit him and instead play frank Reich to take all the hits. -
I'm sure those QBs with fragile personalities can be effected but for the most part I say no, you'll either be good or bad.

Best thing to do for us is let Peterman and Allen ride it out, you bring in a shiny new vet and all of a sudden anytime Allen struggles you're gonna have a sizable group of fans calling for him to be benched.

McBeane gave Peterman his shot....

McDermott will never let his adopted son go! -
I'm so sick of people parroting this nonsense about "Allen is not ready", I'm guessing the OP has never followed a team that has a "ready" rookie QB, cause, with the exception of Ben Rothlesberger Allen looks like every single other rookie QB that has ever played, people need to relax and just let Allen develop the only way possible (playing the games).
-
Never, he's trash on and off the field, this staff would never ever sign that guy.
-
McDermott picked Peterman, not Bean.
-
I think today went GREAT as long as it leads to Allen starting from here on out, we don't have the talent to compete for the playoffs, we need Josh Allen to go into 2019 with a full seasons experience under his belt, nearly every single rookie QB ever is bad in their rookie year and start to blossom in year 2, just when we have 70 million in cap space and a full draft to build around him.
