  1. You learn from playing not watching a mediocre at best 2nd year QB throwing picks.
  2. nope, 1st and 3rd and now after seeing how truly bad the offensive line is I would pass all together, getting at least top linemen will determine if Josh Allen is good or really great in 2019 and beyond.
  3. This is just dumb, Peterman is a pre season warrior, he looked great last preseason and training camp aa well, then fell apart during real games.
  4. This is so, so ,so simple, if anyone thinks that Josh Allen is going to magically stop being a rookie by sitting on the bench, they're crazy, plan and simple there isn't one example short of Aaron Rodgers sitting behind Brett Favre for 3 full years that sitting advances a prospect. We as Bills fans have to stop this impatience and just let a rookie play through his growing pains and stop hopping on WGR are call for their heads the second they have a bad game.
  5. huh? so when is the oline going to be good, 2 games in?, 5? next year, 2 years? It's the NFL lots of QBs are forced to play behind bad offensive lines.
  6. He's exactly right, I can't believe that this franchise is going to screw this up yet another year, they're going to end up ripping fans and maybe even the team apart for absolutely no reason at all, other than Sean McDermott being stubborn on Nathan Peterman, I truly hope that if that's the direction he decides to go he ends up looking like a fool over the same decision two years in a row. This is assinine and I doubt any professional coach thinks like this, they aren't gonna use Peterman as a sacrificial lamb. Yes we do, however our only single problem is that we (fans and coaches) turn on our young QBs at the first sign of trouble, just as our fans are doing now. Meanwhile most other teams simply ride out the highs and low for a few years.
  7. bull ****, AJ McCarron had the same exact game the week before and no one would say that.
  8. This garbage is why we Bills fans should not be allowed to even draft QBs anymore, We're the only team in the league that can't just simply draft a QB and then play them and stick with them for 3 years like every other team does. We totally deserve every Ryan Fitzpatrick, Kyle Orton and Kelly Holcomb we get, cause thats exactly who we have with Nathan Peterman.
  9. There is no such thing as sitting and learning from Nathan fricking Peterman and his 4 quarters of vast experience.
  10. 70 million in cap space next year, that when the real rebuilding begins. All that matters this year is Josh Allen truly becoming our franchise QB.
  11. Josh Allen should be the permanent starter no matter what, if one bad game disqualifies you, Peterman basically had the worst one in NFL history.
  12. Reminds me of the game that David Carr was like 25 for 30 but for only 225 yards, he looked mediocre and the stats were very misleading.
  13. exactly, I believe that if you can get even 5 years of a future hall of fame passrusher, you do, the couple of draft picks are far less likely to help your team.
  14. Sorry but playing 4 total quarters of football does not make you and "experienced vet".
  15. Then by that token, whats the proof that Nathan Peterman can teach Josh Allen anything, after all thats the only question of sitting and learning" whats the point, if it where Ryan Fitzpatrick or Josh McCown there may be a point, not a guy thats played all of 4 quarters and been terrible in those 4 quarters, if the coaching staff thought that highly of Peterman we shouldn't have given up all those assets to draft Allen.
  16. "Sitting and learning" is such a dumb concept when you are learning from Nathan Fricking Peterman 38.4 QB rating, 49% completion percentage, 2 tds 5 ints, sorry I like him, but in real games he's terrible, no way do we want Allen learning anything from him.
  17. Seems about right, these two teams should be more or less equal.
  18. I don't know why we even still discuss Peterman or McCarron, this preseason should be about 1 person, Josh Allen, if hes progressed to be a competent started that should be end of story, he was drafted to start and be a franchise QB.
  19. He's obsessed with this dumb competition for some reason, it should be about 1 person, Josh Allen, is he ready now or not, forget McCarron or Peterman, theyre backups. McDermott wasted all of preseason, Allen could have had double the reps and playtime instead they were wasted on those other two. "ala EJ", lol, yeah ok, try ala just about every other rookie QB.
  20. The only thing that happens if he sits against "a few good defenses" is that the best QB will be off the field and that QB won't have those experiences and will just have to take his lumps later than sooner.
  21. I think some people are borderline delusional that they have input into personnel decisions.
