I don't think Daboll being forced to coordinate a talentless group and then not having a great offense merits a HC hiring. Not that puzzling HC decisions haven't been made, but how has he possibly added anything positive to his resume since he was hired last year? He likely hasn't had a negative impact towards his resume this year.. which is all I get from your argument, but having a bad offense as was duly expected isn't breaking any ground.. A lot of Coordinators can say they've done that lol. If he really wowed and made lemonade out of this offense he'd have elevated his opportunity.. and possibly this second half has been a positive reflection on him, but if I were a GM I'd wait out another year to see what he can actually do with better personnel. Just really don't think his resume has changed at all for better or worse since last year where he was a clear OC candidate. Not HC. But at least one team every year makes some pretty crazy fliers on their HC hire.

yeah I think it would be pretty nuts to take an OC as HC just because he maybe over achieved by taking a really bad offense and having it perform as just a.. bad offense. You need a proven resume of doing good with good players. Not-doing-as-terribly-as-expected might start garnering interest to want to see him actually perform with talent. Then again we've seen really really dumb HC hires virtually every year and there's been much more puzzling decisions than signing Daboll.

I'm all about Lamar right now. He is electric to watch. And he's not a bad passer really. He's just barely called to pass (doesn't really need to) but he gets it done when needed. Bizarre offense that Lamar's is executing perfectly. I miss having a real Michael Vick type quarterback in the league.

Yeah watch a full Ravens game. It's absolutely absurd. And the coolest part is it's working. Excited to see if they can make some noise with this in the playoffs It's essentially a full game evolved wildcat RPO every play. Would be fun to see this confuse the heck out of Beli like the Dolphins had.

I just think Lamar Jackson is a way better threat running than Tyrod dreamed of in terms of Chris Johnson or Vick ability to get chunk rushing plays in a snap. He's not bad whatsoever at passing either.. it's just whatever he's doing works so much better if he just keeps running as much as he is. With that defense and strong running game getting TOP.. it's a deadly poison. He seems far better than Tyrod at this juncture IMO. I mean.. he took Flacco's spot whereas Tyrod didn't for the Ravens lol. Running a waaaay different offense and style of play than Tyrod. HE'S NOT TYROD. Dropping Tyrod. Ain't no other rookies scratching his win loss % this year. Winning football babee. Went like 6-1. Tyrod don't do that.

He's playing winning football right now. I'm sure both his OC and opponents DC will adjust for a less one-dimensional offense from the Ravens. I mean he's played like way less games than all the rookies.. no doubt doesn't have any numbers Josh has, but I watched the entire Browns game. He took 3 to the house from 40 yards 2 that were called back on questionable holding calls. Regardless, Tyrod 2.0 is a very unfair comparison. I haven't seen a quarterback with that kind of a threat to score on any play since Vick. And he's no slouch passing either, just doesn't do it much. He's running a really fun, hard to believe offense right now that is sure to change. But I'm pulling for the Ravens in the playoffs because they are winning convincingly ever since they got Lamar starting and just completely denying any conventional wisdom. It's fun. No reason to change it now. Obviously they'll be more prepared with a difference offense, but it's a small miracle the Ravens went from Flacco's offense to Lamar's on a dime and have had the success they've had. My favorite rookie QB to watch outside of JA. HE IS NOT TYROD 2.0. Dumb dumb dumb.. really lazy comparison.

Don't blow the beginning of the season and take it for granted or else we will be eliminated from the playoffs as fast as humanly possible. We got our pathetic act together way too late.. Don't mess up at the beginning next year coach. This season could have gone much differently.

Yeah. He's has an exceptional year. Jury's obviously still out on their careers but Baker's far ahead of Allen based on his performance this year. Gave a very good Ravens defense and overall team a high scoring game down to the wire. And talking about leadership and intangibles we see in JA and Baker's got it in spades. Teammates love him. Dude bleeds.. ugly orange and Brown Browns colors.

He's more accurate from distance than nearby. I imagine that's a huge part of his completion % story. Can't be lasering to people so close by and needs to have some touch on his passes. Watch how Nick Foles leads his quick outs to his runningbacks with touch and in perfect stride for them to do damage. He gives them the ball when (early so they can make defenders miss after catching!) and exactly how they want it to get the most YAC. Dude slashes teams with 50+ reception yards from his RBs getting the ball perfectly in stride before throwing down the hammer on the deep ball to Alshon. It'll make JA much more dangerous if he can get better at these.

I mean Baker's tied Manning and Wilson's rookie TD record and looks awesome. But I like the enthusiasm!

Mayfield broke or tied the record for most passing touchdowns by a rookie Quarterback from Russel Wilson and Andrew Luck and rookie Peyton Manning. starting 3-4 less games at that. That dude is legit. JA's good too. I wanted for Baker to fall for us and I still wish it happened. I'll bet the Browns feel the same way. Regardless if they have a Baker/Marino vs our JA/JK then i don't really care. But to be perfectly honest.. Baker is definitely the real deal and I can only hope JA is.

Um. I hate the Vikings?? So go Bears and Eagles!! If you lose to the Bills.. you shouldn't make the playoffs.

I'm depressed you didn't appreciate making the playoffs for whatever reason. We were terrible this season. Room for optimism sure but this season ended as quickly as possible. Super entertaining.

Boooooo have some fun if you're a football fan. It's sports bar culture to make a reason to root for your playoff dark horse and bond with fans happy to see their team actually make it. Go Ravens and Texans.. these teams are going to run train on the Pats Plus you get to watch and engage in... Good football. AFCE games are honestly terrible games for any neutral fan to watch. Lopsided and ugly. Bills Dolphins was ugly. Watch the playoffs with some interest and enlighten yourself with games without pick6s, fumbles, ejections. Just good football. And remember that's how the Bills should be balling
