Great post. I'll add in moderation as I've read some overzealous stories on this board alone and know too many an NFL fan to be emotionally consumed to the point of being a detriment to themselves. I've never seen the Bills at their finest in my lifetime so I think a lot of likewise fans in my position are fans for life.. and if you're like me, growing up rooting for an 8-8 wildcard as an amazing feat, I think we're obviously emotionally invested as can reasonably be called for, but also have the naive perspective that anything disappointing in the season isn't to be emotionally destructive, but simply yet another set of 16 games that didn't pan out for optimism that the next is better. Basically the lows are not noteworthy but the highs are exceptionally exciting and I don't think that will go away. I'd urge anyone to take positive results with the upmost appreciation and to not let the negative consume you. Make your fandom a one way street.. disappointment at worst to apathy to exuberance at anything positive. I don't understand those who let bad years make them give up on the team (we see at least one goodbye post every year) or even worse let them affect to the point it's emotionally destructive. It's fandom, that's for damn sure, but it's not the kind of fandom I'd want anybody to have

Nathan Peterman ranked #1 QB (Funny video)
Bing Bong replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure but he wasn't good enough regardless. I'm shocked we never gave Jeff Tuel the same excuses.. I liked him more. Mostly because they had the same fate but Tuel deserved his opportunity more. Otherwise there's a crapload of Quarterbacks to say the exact same thing about. And a crapload of Quarterbacks that never sniffed the NFL that might have been marginally better than Tuel, Peterman, Levi Jones etc. I just recognize Peterman was blessed to have the chance every Quarterback in his draft class dreamed of.. and those guys deserve even more sympathy than Peterman.. they didn't make it! Watch hoop dreams or Hard Knocks to understand how many dreams are crushed on an annual basis. It's staggering. Like who on TSW made this video lol. It was one of us.. -

Nice find. For the life of me I can't understand the pity party some want to see for Peterman after we (and every other NFL team) send underperforming players packing with such Glee from ODB. Think Troupe, Terrell Pryor, another THOUSANDS OF FAILED NFL PLAYERS. It's fine to find pity in those that don't make so long as you recognize half the male population dreams of having the same opportunity Peterman had. Free College tuition for one. -
I'd seriously consider firing him if he hasn't shown a good resume. Good god idk how this is percieved among NFL coaches but I imagine it has to be seen as the Pinnacle of incompetence. I might be wrong maybe they all have scripted sound bites about whatever they don't really want to tell the media and this is just a minor screw up.

I live in Texas so screw your friend haha. I can't afford it. I have a box a Flutie flakes I promise to eat next time we make a Superbowl and that Stanley cup championship Bills banner I bought from China. Terry Pegs doesn't need my money. Those poor Chinese kids that messed up and made that hilariously incorrect poster need it more. They deserve more for that genius faux pas

McBeane will build a Wr Core of 2s & 3s.

Super annoying dude. I expanded on my opinion and don't even know what post you're still hung up on like it even matters after 3 replies. We conclusively have crappy receivers under Beane's tenure so far. Whether or not you want to give credit or praise to whatever Beane hasn't done for the position is your call -

I never said conclusively that they wouldn't draft Larry Fitz 2.0... IN THE FUTURE???! I did say "conclusively" they've sucked at evaluating the position... THUS FAR???! Context! Stop being a **** and stop combating with petty replies. I swear to God every time I try to show I understand your point of view and express mine just to get you to bug off you say some dumb **** to keep going -

Idk. Context. I never said conclusively Beane wouldn't draft Larry Fitzgerald 2.0. I said he should hire the Steelers WR scouts because him or his scout team has absolutely sucked at receivers so far -

I've heard from GM quotes that recievers virtually don't change their skillset and their learning curve when hitting the NFL is more about simply knowing your corner never lets you have it easy. Otherwise what they showed in college is what they bring to the table. I know it's a fantasy football adage that WRs mature by year 3 and I assume it's them getting acquainted to their Quarterback and getting used to significantly better corners. -

No man I'm saying we've missed on receivers. Simply for the fact that if these guys were nearly as good as dumpster diving for secondary we'd already have a great WR corps. People are good at evaluating some things better than others. We've traded a bit too much for guys we've tossed right away, and to your point, that's natural.. they have a lot of holes to fill and they haven't seriously had a real chance to address the position. Let's drop Zay. I think he'll be fine on his own and I don't care for getting hung up on the receiver available that might outperform him. The regime so far just has a pretty bad track record.. and I'm talking trades and general practical evaluation of Fielding competent starters (similar to Peterman and the quarterback fiasco). These are mistakes the regime had made on offense Fielding starters that don't belong in this league (AND EVERYBODY MAKES MISTAKES..not calling for his head) that give me pause about when they eventually choose to address the receiver position. And like I said.. obviously Beane isn't omnificent.. hopefully the draft (but so far mainly NFL) scouting personnell that's been around is learning, improving, or changing. We don't have a great track record so far. That's all I'm saying. To your point we haven't addressed it truly. And to your point we have a small sample size thus far... So why can't I be nervous about it ?? -

I agree. I mean I don't know clearly what the OP is calling for but I think it's fine to have 3 playmaker-but-not-quite-elite types like Philly has done with Ertz, Jeffrey, and Agholor rather than the superstar-and-roleplayers-that-get-free types like the Falcons but they all need combine for a high caliber WR corp obviously. As with any good team with any position. If he's asking for less than the Eagles corps than heck no. I want 2 guys that give Foster a run for his money if that's the way we go. 3 solid WRs that compliment each other. All stallions. Or an absolute stud opposite Foster (can we get away from these sexual horse descriptions ?) -

Don't really want to get into who drafted 2017 man, probably McDermott: bad WR evaluator. Jordan Matthews. Kelvin Benjamin. Trade up for Zay ahead of a lot of promising WRs, Holmes, Philly Brown. The fact it took the regime a year and a new Quarterback to realize they were awful. We cut all those guys we acquired in a minute. Our receivers suck dude thats a pretty objective observation, and it'd be one thing if we didn't throw around 3rd rounders for people we'd cut in a year. So it's like.. 5 crappy WRs we shouldn't have fielded to 1 good one in Foster. I'm not giving you Isaiah McKenzie as if that was some some brilliant move lol we should have several Isaiah McKenzie's.. that should be our expectation.. not several Andre Holmes'. WRs that are startable. Not an accomplishment it's an expectation. And relax with the "you a Beane" hater nonsense. No one's perfect. And WR had been a shortcoming. They can obviously field capable starters in the secondary out of nowhere. That's a bangup job. -
They are out for sure. Huge implosion and I'm admittedly way too high on the Ravens but that defense is going to give Baker a beatdown. Steelers out! Hooray.. hated them this year And also incredibly embarrassing. Love it. Implosions and silly stuff like this are just as embarrassing as plain sucking as a neutral fan.

The Rosen Era Has Begun in Arizona
Bing Bong replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Y'all the Cardinals offense is godawful. So is the Bills. If Allen didn't have his running threat he'd look no better than Rosen. If you made me pick which QB to start against an alien race for the fate of the world I'd pick Allen.. mostly because I've watched him more, his athleticism, and Rosen's weekly Cardinals highlight tape looks godawful. Otherwise I don't think we know much of what's going on over there. If JA didn't have his freak athleticism we'd be pretty damn nervous about our Quarterback. The Bills suck. But I think the Cardinals.. really. Suck. Some of that's Rosen too, he can't let players hide like Allen does playing hero ball. I'm team Allen. I also think the Cards non QB offense might even be worse than ours. I know. Impossible take. But I would like to take this moment to chastise those who said Rosen "looks like a girl" and wouldn't last an NFL season. Dude's an NFL Quarterback. He's tough and played behind a **** OL the whole season. Some unflattering picture of him in slim football training pads gave the awesome "he sucks. Just look at him" take. Nooo. He just flat out sucks right now as does his offense. Don't body shame! Not cool. You're arguing about which tire fire burns brighter to defend 2 crappy TD/INT ratios. Do you want to take pride in the Bills team or do you want the offense to be as horrific as possible to make Allen shine brighter? Christ, Teller is a human being too folks and y'all out here stripping his dignity to make Allen look better. Let's start a thread over which offense makes their LG look worse than he is too while we're at it. Y'all got a lot of growing up to do I tell ya what. And that's coming from me. An alcoholic jackwagon that called himself PetermanThrew5Picks for over a year -

Brees had the slightest of advantages over Mahomes in the middle of the season (when he had his 2 "off" games), who at any point had a chance to seal the award by tossing 55+ TDs.. and was bound to see Kamara and Ingram and the defense win a few games for him whereas Mahomes was always forced to win the game or pad his stats in a blow out. I didn't see Brees' drop but I certainly saw low scoring grind out games because the Saints were so darn good. At which point Mahomes would catch up with his 6 TD 3 INT games basically carrying the Chiefs. No I'm being facetious, it was super close and no obvious answer throughout the season. Fun race. But it DEFINITELY shouldn't have been 100 Brees to 30 Mahomes at any point. Too many here were chalking it up to Brees "had it coming" and even if he didn't outright convincingly win, the "voters are going to give it to the better body of work".. I don't think that's ever true. The MVP voters do a good job of avoiding a player's career body of work.. with the exception of Peyton seasons where there was nobody else to really give it to (he had some pretty average seasons by MVP standards)

the 100 people that voted for Drew. Ya'll dumb. It was always Mahomeboy.
