  1. This is strange, hear me out. So my dad has been a Bills fan a long time so the reason I became a fan was so we had something in common to talk about. Well the past few seasons things are going well and he hasn't really been messaging me about the team or the games and I started to wonder a few days ago if that maybe the team is so good he just isn't into as much. I really just hope he is busy or doesn't like me anymore because he went through all the bad years and I would hate to think he lost interest around the same time the Bills became world beaters. I see this thread and I was just thinking about if people could lose interest because the team is so good and man it is like kind of creepy.
  2. I don't really want to derail the thread from people getting to talk about how he played so I'm not going to elaborate too much. I don't think he intentionally injured some one on purpose but it does feel sort of like an anomaly never seeing anything quite like that. It hit me differently I must admit. I know that leading tackles with your head can bring fines for helmet to helmet hits and it looked like to me he dove in head first blindly. Like if he dove head first blindly and it was a helmet to helmet hit. All I can say is something about it feels wrong to me but it could just be the perfect camera angle showing it so clear. I hope people can be better than me because I wouldn't be cool with it if I was the one in that situation. You mess with my health and my potential future earnings trying to dog pile on a tackle I already made I'm not gonna be your friend anymore.
  3. So what caused the injury then, was it non contact? I'm not saying it happened on purpose but one dudes head spearing into another dudes head 100% made some kind of injury happen.
  4. Today I learned that a football game can be both terrible and entertaining at the same time.
  5. It really wasn't that hard for them to move on from this guy. This guy wasn't face of the franchise huge contract commitment. Glad everyone's popping that victory champagne but pump the brakes on how big of a deal it really was letting him go.
  6. Last I knew all but one of the girls got settlements. NFL gets look look like a real hero by coming down harder on Watson. Eventually Watson comes back and the Browns will still be a clown show most likely. It's ok to let go of the outrage you feel.
  7. I read through all the pages and to be honest I have not seen anything different from when the topic of Tyrod was beaten to death around the last year he played for the Bills. Feels like you just necroed one of the buried existing topics with no actual reason like maybe some new news worthy information to justify talking about him again.
  8. You got kicked out of the Packers forum when you posted this and decided to try it around this forum?
  9. Nate Peterman still getting work? Some one better remind me that Colin Kaepernick still isn't getting a shot.
  10. Let's pretend the Bills drafted Rosen instead and what people would be saying now. Actually let's not do that.
  11. I would have to agree with number 1 on your list. My father was a truck driver and when I reached a certain age he told me he was in an accident that took another person's life. He wasn't at fault and he showed me a letter written by someone in the family of the person he was in that accident with. To sum it up they didn't blame him and didn't want him to blame himself. Keeping that letter around for so long after it happened tells me he won't ever forget that moment in his life. To be honest I don't think the letter or the fact the other person was proven to be at fault made him feel any better about it.
  12. How many teams would take Tua over who they have at QB right now?
  13. People make choices. You choose a profession like being a massage therapist you should have a plan in place for dealing with a situation like a client acting inappropriate. You shouldn't have to but that doesn't mean you shouldn't. You shouldn't need home security but people still have it. If the first few of the girls spoke out or pressed charges then maybe that might have prevented some of them from having to go through it at all. It might not have helped the first girl but after a few incidents it would have been taken more seriously. It would make a bigger difference to take action immediately. You involve money and a lawsuit you might have people that had a bad experience with the situation looking for retribution and you might have also have people that are opportunitist that will piggyback off others just because they have the opportunity. It wouldn't surprise me at all that there was inappropriate behavior happening but you can't wait around months and years never press charges and jump in in a lawsuit and really expect criminal justice. I never seen anyone speaking out against this dude until the lawsuit was news.
  14. It's most likely best for the Superbowl or nothing fans to become bandwagon fans of the Superbowl favorite then. Honestly I wish they would, I support them in the choice to jump ship and go buy some Rams gear if it helps them feel good.
  15. I'm sure that another team would hire him at HC if the Bills fired him so I don't think it's that big of a deal to him if they want to fire him while he's still bringing the team to the playoffs.
  16. I like the old fashioned helmet.
  17. I think a few things like a text, email or even a voice recording would give the accusations some strength but I don't think I would want to go to battle with just a few witnesses and I don't think it will be enough in my opinion and people looking into it will want more than witness testimony to take action on those accusations I believe.
  18. McDermott gave him a job that gave Daboll an opportunity to springboard himself into a head coaching gig so I don't think his feelings about his former boss is all doom and gloom even if it isn't all sunshine and rainbows. If I were Daboll I would have some appreciation for Josh Allen and McDermott when I sit in a new office with a higher ranking position because they were on the path traveled to get that job.
  19. Last year's was better in my honest opinion. No disrespect to the line up but they kinda outdated and it was showing to me.
  20. I googled how many minority coaches won a Superbowl out of curiosity.
  21. If I was a minority and I really thought the rule was a sham I wouldn't show up for the interviews. I never voted in my entire life because I felt there was no point to it. It must work enough for people to keep showing up or they are just fools.
  22. It's simple to understand that the rule only give a person an interview and nothing is promised after that. If you really want more hires then sweeten the deal with some incentives to make those hires and you might get more results. It may not feel like the right thing to do but you might get more results if there are added benefits into making hires you might not of been planning on doing.
  23. I want to clarify that I know this topic has many avenues and lanes to travel down and I am not interested in going in any of those directions because I feel neutral in most of those topics slightly agreeing and disagreeing with everything. Although one big issue I have with the situation specifically is that this guy was indeed hired as a minority head coach and served as a head coach for an NFL team and is a shining example of the fact it can and does happen so I don't feel sorry for him honestly in some respects. He was the thing he is complaining about not being given a fair chance to be so it's case closed for me. Although if he does have evidence of some claims he made about Miami I think it's a good thing to expose that. If he does have specific evidence that he wasn't hired by an NFL team specifically because of his race such as a witness or text message I will respect that for sure but just because you got passed over doesn't mean it was racially motivated. I am in no way saying there isn't a problem to be debated about around hiring head coaches, I am just saying I don't think it was a problem for this guy and isn't a problem now unless he has something concrete to show that he hasn't yet.
  24. Singapore, game started at 7:30 am
  25. Some are on a witch hunt I think.
