The best they could of expected was to get a season like the Bills with Tyrod sneaking into the playoffs. I like to dump on the Pats as much as anyone else but now isn't the time because they have not been that team for some seasons. Its really about how they develop the QB they drafted and how they build around him when its time to roll it out. If they mess that up it will be more fun to joke on em.

On the outside looking in The Jets are a joke franchise like the Browns. I just look at the evidence. First look at Sam Darnold or Baker Mayfield lighting it up after being dumped by thier joke franchises they were drafted to. Then the Jets and Browns both think they have it together and they just need a QB and since they cannot develop one they reach for another teams hand me down star power. In the Jets case it couldn't have gone better with Rogers going down in 4 plays into his first season as a Jet. They are close to another reset. The Jets are so bad that it makes me think even Zach Wilson might work out on another team as well. Thats the natural of the beast though. The Bills got lucky on one of our resets. So I am sure it will happen for the Jets as well.

But but but.. hes a good team mascot and feel good story that we can hear about every time they play.

Tua is a real life bobble head. Put his neck in a brace because his neck doesn't work. He is a decent QB though and I am sure the money is sweet so I doubt he will hang them up. I only blamed Miami for putting him out so soon after the first hit he took that had him looking funny. After that i think both sides knew the reality. Miami gave him the bag and he wanted it. On the outside looking in, I knew Tua had his own way of being tackled, like he wants to throw himself in bed on a soft pillow. He might be out before hits the ground and then just falls funny making it look like the ground that did it. Lot of money on the line, its easy to say you would walk away without the weight of it all on you. If he sets his kids up for life at the cost of his brain and hes ok with it, i have to respect his choice as a man.

Kc beats a lot of teams in big games and it can only lead me to one conclusion. They are cheating some how. Im suspicious of Taylor Swift. The Bills don't win championships because I dont think we ever landed had a Champinship level OC. A guy that strikes fear in other teams because when the chips are down he can figure it out.

Looked like a shark on this one play. McD just can make guys fit that just light it up. If we had an OC that ran his process like MCD we would have a dynasty.

People taking this back up situation too far. Google tells me Trey Lance has played about 9 NFL games. His first team ditched him and made it to a SB. I dont know how that translates to "can manage and win games as a backup". Not only that but throw in giving up picks for the guy.

I don't really care who the backup is. Not that I don't think its important. Im just one of those people that if Josh goes down the season is over. No one you bring in will be able to fill Joshes shoes or come close.

Yeah knowing the impact Kim has made on the team, it really sucked knowing something was wrong. I didnt want to lose her. Obviously I dont know or have ever met her but just as a face of the organization. Glad to know shes a part of things in whatever way she can be. Im rooting for because I do believe she had to be part of the team going in the right direction. I never spoke on it just because Im never the right person for that but I really hope she finds her way into the mix again. Its cool to see news like this.

It goes both ways I imagine. You can be skeptical or hopeful. I think realistic is a good approach. We had a few runs and it was time to restock and refocus. The team might start the season and fall flat for some games. I wouldnt be shocked. We fired a OC over a bad stretch of games so it wouldnt be new. I actually am braced for growing pains but I am not doom and gloom. It might be a good ramp up into the season after this next one.

Its fun for me to follow the stories of drafted QBs for a bit. Until they become what they are. At his price tag of being #1 I guess at the very least you want flashes of greatness on the field as the season goes on. Now you have CJ Stroud as an example of it all working out. I think that has more to do with everything else around him as well. So will the bears will have to roll it out as well. The Bills D is good reps for him.

Dorsey was fired because he couldn't ask the man who is doing his job now for ideas before he was fired. Next thing you know, whoop next guys got something cooking. Dorsey might be alright, but now this time ask around for feedback when he struggles.

I figured that is a coaches job. It wouldnt be a concern of mine for our QB to have babysitting pressure.

Yeah I thought he was done after I saw his fingers curled up. He proved me wrong about that. It wouldn't shock me if he misses some games. It could trend that way. Tua is alright. I think he is good enough to have the Fish in the mix. I don't think the Fish really had any outs to go in a different direction at the moment.

So I think this thread boils down to how people see the glass that is half full or half empty. I really can understand both sides but not to the extremes that some go. In some ways I am a little skeptical. At the very least, any WR walking through the door is getting a monster at QB. I don't know about this OC. I am not sold all the way yet. I need to see a full season, without pulling a dorsey and getting predictible. I think the real place I disagree with people is that I understand why it has to be this way and I still buy into the process. It might get ugly but this in the opening of a new window.

I understand it. Just an example of "if we just had this". They didn't stay the course. Zack was a bust I get it. You bring in a couple jag bridge QBs and you get the same results but just maybe one of those jags gets a hot hand and its not so bad. So yeah it will be interesting to see the Jets implode again after the hope part 2 rolls out.

I think Coleman flatlines guys and makes circus catches. He will be better than Davis. He is the type to get into peoples heads. He has that big D energy.
