I have to disagree slightly. The defense did have a bad stretch of games, but they also held the Panthers and the Jaguars to 10 point games. Plus they kind of forced a lot of turnovers. I wouldn't have said we were not very good on defense. Outside of that 3 game stretch the defense did it's job. Held Jets to 13 first game. (Great) Held Panthers to 9 (Amazing) Held Broncos to 16 (Awesome) Held Falcons to 17 (Superb) Held Bengals to 20 (Decent) Held Bucs to 27 (Not Great) Held Raiders to 14 (Spectacular) Boom 3 game stretch of awful. Held Chiefs to 10 (Supercalafragulidtic) Held Pat's to 23 (not great) Held Colts to 7 (Stellar) Held Dolphins to 16 (Great) Patriots killed them 2nd game 37 (Awful) Dolphins 16 again (Great) Jaguars held to 10 in a playoff game the offence didn't even play in. (Got the job done)

Awesome. Thanks you guys for helping me get to know this draft pick. Definitely excited to see him play! The highlights look sweet dude. Did he make Rosen cough up the ball? -

Thank you for saying this.

The Bills picked Luke Skywalker over Vader

So your saying that Rosen is Allen's father? -
Honestly go check out some post pick interviews with him. Then look at Rosen's feeling entilted to be picked higher attitude. I'm warming up to the fact we picked him now.
-
Nothing wrong with the take. Just after so many repetitive post it gets redundant. We know a lot of people didn't like the pick.
-
Well Beane made the pick understanding that he would be on damage control right away. He also made the pick knowing a bunch of fans would cry over it. At least he made the choice he felt was right and not the easy one. I'd pump the brakes a little but if you wanna set your hair on fire and run around in circles then do it. Thanks for another I don't like Josh Allen post with nothing new to add to the pile.

Beane is building, this season might be a throw away

The Bills may take a step back this season. If that happens I can understand it. Had a bad contract and a few players to move on from. Honestly I've kinda had this feeling it could potentially happen, so I have already braced for impact. My question mark is offensive performance this season. A lot of unknowns going into this season. New back up QB and new OC to hope on. I don't doubt the defense, it's a McDermott strength proven with the turn over fest and holding the Jaguars to 10 in a playoff game. I would sign up for a similar defensive year. So really I am just wondering if the offense will underperform and if that happens then I guess last year's strategy will be the same this year. Get a little lead and completely depend on defense playing lights out. No AJMcbackup hasn't proven he is better then Tyrod yet. I was ready to hold the door open for Tyrod on the way out but he wasn't so bad I'll crown the next man king without proof fam. -
After thinking about it I realize Beane made the difficult choice. The easy choice would of been Josh Rosen but he went with what he felt was the better choice. He made that pick knowing he would be questioned about it. He made that pick knowing the fans would be upset. He made that pick knowing that himself and Josh Allen would be on damage control. That speaks volumes to me. I don't know what the outcome will be but at least I feel like Beane felt that strongly about it. I respect that.

Why didn't NE make a move for a QB in Rd.1???
Lfod replied to #34fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The deal they made with the Devil is up and they had no soul left to renew the contract. So it's mediocre time. -
They have done everything I wanted. They traded huge contract rotational star Dareus. They traded limping decoy pay me huge Watkins. They benched and traded saftey dance Tyrod. They started 5 pick Peterman. They even got one of the top 4 rookie QBs in a ha we leaked your tweets grab your pitchforks Josh Allen. They even broke the drought and got into the Playoffs in the offence has no point in being here 3 point game. They don't have to care what I think, just keep doing what I love and not caring about my opinion. Now what I want is McBeane to keep giving me that sweet sweet pure entertainment.
-
Good they will never see it coming. Buffalo Bills with the sucker punch.
-
I definitely understand that people didn't want Josh Allen to be the pick. I even respect thier opinions. I won't try to discredit thier opinions because they might be right about him. I'm just saying that people are going to get annoying with this Josh Allen topic.

Entitlement. Nothing wrong with confidence. You have to earn your place and thinking he deserved this or that based on your entitlement your going to rub people the wrong way. You don't want a guy blaming everyone else if the situation isn't ideal. You don't want a guy throwing your organization under the bus if he isn't successful. I'm not saying who he is, but if you asked me why we didn't pick him I would use the word entitlement. This girl should sleep with me because I'm a star. This team should pick me first because I'm the best.

Some one posted a funny video about the Bills picking Allen a few days before the draft. Little did they know that joke video turned into reality. I probably won't be jumping into the debate. If Rosen is better then Allen at any time then Beane will get roasted. I'm sure he made that pick with that in mind. He staked his reputation on Allen.
-
I don't think it's a good idea to start him this year at all. If you put him in a game and he struggles you get roasted. I want to see if the kid can play ball but it comes with a cost. A heavy one. Unless he is absolutely undisputed the best QB on the roster coming out of camp.
-
I'll give him 3 years before we do the Tyrod thing again. That is if he even is Tyrod level.
-
One stitch!!!?! Oh and Thor was kinda a jerk even if he did help a little.
-
No matter what you think - Beane got exactly who he wanted
Lfod replied to Bakin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm ok with it. Bean was in position and had the choice of two of the top four. Didn't have to give an entire draft to do it. It only leaves the question of who will be better, Allen or Rosen and that is what will define him now. It can only look bad if Rosen is better in the future. I still can't believe this draft. So bonkers man. Mayfield at #1 and Saquon at #2 was what I was hoping for. Indeed the Browns blew it in my opinion. So did the Giants. They got a good RB but I still think Eli in decline. -
Well this draft went bonkers holy.
-
Yess the Browns did it!! They failed again!
