Let the record I'm against trade into top 6 due to price
Lfod replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
*Sigh* Fap fap fap fap fap. -
I mashed that like button multiple times but it only registered as once. I'm sorry.

If what you mean by better is taking the sacks or throwing the ball away instead of throwing the interceptions then I agree they would be better. If they came in that same situation with "He didn't even try to block me"-Bosa and could be successful I would have to say that rookie is elite and we found our franchise QB.
-
If we are talking about Peterman becoming the starter of the Bills and leading them to many glorious victories then no, I can't argue in favor of that. I would agree the chances of that happening are slim to none. I won't say your wrong or anybody else who has written him off completely. If we are talking about a later round drafted QB put in a very difficult situation to actually succeed on an underperforming offense in his first year in the NFL. I would have to say yes I think that even if others disagree. If we are talking about the reason for him starting in the first place was because the offense was under performing, I would have to say yes that was the reason. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.buffalorumblings.com/platform/amp/2017/10/26/16552372/buffalo-bills-converting-turnovers-into-points-interceptions-fumbles-scoring-offense&ved=2ahUKEwiT86azo47aAhWjuVkKHfNCDwQQFjACegQIBxAB&usg=AOvVaw1efyUuOU8DgWtdXQR6kQLO&cf=1 Now you stick a late round rookie QB on and underperforming offence that can't take advantage of multiple extra opportunitys to score. Panthers and Jaguars are both 3 point offensive games. Pun intended. Saints 56 yard game. We got destroyed by the Jets. I'm not saying much other then the guy wasn't put in a favorable situation. You can think that sticking any of the top QBs in this draft in that same situation as Peterman had and they lead the team to victory with amazing stats, I would have a hard time being in agreement with that. They might not throw 5 interceptions but they would absolutely get killed in my honest opinion.
-
I checked the names of the QBs in the draft and indeed you are correct sir. There are only obvious Rosen's, Darnold's, Allen's, Mayfield's and Jackson's. Jim Kelly isn't in this draft. He's retired. Luck's still on the Colts so he can't be in the draft. Newton still is the starting QB for the Panthers so he is not in the draft.

I'm going to have to go with Tyrod. Hopefully that's the last time I have to vote in his favor. I liked the uniforms the year that Bledsoe played.
-
Go check out the video. I was just commenting on his analysis. I was just trying to see some positives. This wasn't my opinion, it was the the person breaking down the videos opinion. I'm not very optimistic about the offense next year to be honest. We have a new OC a new system and a brand new backup QB to be our starter. I'm trying to see any positive I can right now. You disagree with the breakdown and analysis in the video that's fine. I'm not going to crusade for Peterman. That 2nd game wasn't in a blizzard or wasn't a low scoring game for both teams or anything.
-
So your saying we should power slam them all through burning tables?
-
I agree that Peterman wasn't ready for the NFL. Even the snow game he did a stupid thing and left himself open for a helmet to helmet hit under the snow. Those mistakes are on him. The pressure was in his face. He should have taken the sacks. Then he would not be remembered as 5 pick Peterman. The o-line would of received the blame. I can't force you to agree with the positive things the guy in the video said about Peterman making correct reads and throwing with anticipation. Give it a view and keep an open mind. Peterman is a rookie.
-
Another thing. When you compare Tyrod to Peterman keep in mind that one guy has been a starter a few years and learned from behind the scenes for years. The other guy was in the NFL for part of a season. Oh and one guy isn't on the team anymore. I guess I was right about that one. Tyrod got his Playoff game. He lead the team to 3 points and got knocked out of the game. The legend of Tyrod right there.
-
Mills should quit football and start a career as a welcome doormat. Get him off my team. Mills master plan didn't work out so well because now Tyrod is on the worst team in football and will be benched for another rookie. Anyway if what you say is true then the organization seems to be aware of it and Mills will be gone soon enough.

Ok I checked out the highlights and read your post. I'll start first by saying I liked his interview. The yes ma'am part part shows me I don't have to worry about Baker Mayfield style crotch grabs when it comes to respect. Did I see him smiling after that fight? Bills fans complained that no one did squat after Tre White was hit by Gronk. I wonder if Lamar Jackson would run out..... I like that he has height. That was a knock on Tyrod not seeing the field because he was to short. Not sure if that was the problem but it definitely won't be an excuse with Lamar. The most dropped passes? Tyrod didn't have that problem as much because he didn't throw the ball. On a serious note, yes Lamar is going to have to live with the Tyrod/Mobile QB comparison. It may not be fair but it's going to happen. Lamar is going to have doubters but it's so much sweeter proving doubters wrong then having everyone ride your jock. It adds more fuel to your fire. I really can't say much. Any rookie we draft I will probably feel the same about because I don't follow college ball. I'll just keep the hope unless they play so bad for so many games it gets annoying and I want to run and hold the door open for them on thier way out.
-
Haha you got me. I'll go take a look and check the video out.
-
I was just reading through a lot of what you posted about the Mobile QB. It makes a lot of sense. Tyrod at first was leading a top scoring offense. As the years went on it seemed like those running lanes for him closed up and to resolve it they tried to mold him into a pocket passer and it just wasn't happening. Basically it confirmed what you posted was true because we all lived through it. I don't know about Lamar Jackson. I don't follow college ball. I'm not sure if the mobile QB is a fair label for him or not. A person smarter then me would have to dig into his passing stats and sum it up.

I agree that America has an issue. America has a few issues right now. School shootings, mass shootings, bombers, scandalous presidential candidates, Trillions in debt, government shut downs ECT ECT ECT. I could go on all day but I'll just stop there. Kneeling brought awareness that America has an issue but it didn't solve it. It only added fuel to the fire. I don't see a resolution only more debate. I wish it had solved the problem but it didn't. Show me utopia. A dude was just shot by police the other day running with a cellphone, more protests. I seen videos of protesters kicking cars. Unlike most people, I don't see an answer. It is just going to continue to get worse and worse until the entire thing breaks down. The system will collapse, the poor will tear each other apart and the military will move in to police the streets to protect the structures and businesses. Those who bow down and comply will get rations and bread lines. Those who don't will be labeled American Terrorist and um yeah... This has been in the works for years. The majority watch as it all plays out but it's new to them because they don't know the end of the story. I read the script. I know how this movie ends. I hope for the best but it won't be long I'll be jumping ship before it all goes down. I let everyone sort out thier difference from a nice safe distance. Your somebody that has fought for other people, but a guy like me... I am only fighting for my own personal survival. I wasn't born to carry anybody else's problems.
-
You are absolutely killing it man. Good job. I don't really know much about Lamar Jackson, but if he is just a mobile sandlot QB you definitely made a strong case that he won't be a Buffalo Bill. We definitely seen the result with Tyrod and it did trend down the longer he remained a starter.
-
Lol Tyrod was so bad it makes people hate Lamar Jackson. That is something special.
-
The Bills benched familiar and traded it for a 3rd. If this QB is familiar then please don't waste the pick. I want the Bills to be familiar with a guy that can lead the offense to frequent 21+ point games.
-
To be honest, what I want and reality are different. I can't hype myself about another teams back up pretending to be a starting QB. Then you have a new OC and new system to go along with a backup QB. It wasn't the outcome I want but it's the one I am getting. I understand it so I will learn to live with it. It's unproven so I'm at wait and see and hope for the best. Then you have Peterman. Same situation, new system new OC. He has to be able to survive an entire game. I hope his introduction into the NFL was a wake up call and I hope he is out there right now as I speak training his mind and body. Again not to much to get hyped over and it's just wait and see. Then you have the ??? as a rookie QB. Nothing proven at the NFL level and no hype for me. You only hope they choose a guy that is a natural. Same situation new OC new system. Just wait and see situation for me. You risk plugging the guy in to early and he struggles then the fans jump ship on that hype train and Beane is blamed for choosing a bust. All the magic and mystery destroyed and the teams exposed once again. All I can do is hope. Hope the new OC and System can be productive with any of the above options. Hope that it all comes together in camp and preseason and the team isn't still trying to get together during the season. It probably a lot to ask so I am actually ready to embrace ugly. What I am Hyped about is that I do have a HC and GM combo I can believe in. I don't feel like that's a wait and see situation for me. That is Playoff proven. They can do a lot with a little and still cleaning up messes they inherited. I'm all in when it comes to that. I can't vote because all of these options are unproven at the NFL level and it's all hyping myself to count on Miracles. I wanted Nick Folez because at the very least on a good team with a good offensive system he got the job done in the playoffs and the big show. That at least is proven to have worked. He wears an SB ring and he was a factor in getting it. The price was to steep and I'm over it. I'm at wait and see mode. I'm choosing to be patient because the drought was busted. If old time fans can wait 17 years for a playoff game I suppose I can wait until it's figured out. I'm just at wait and see mode. Show me something I can believe in.

The Bright Side Concerning Peterman
Lfod replied to ProcessTheTrust's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was more entertaining then watching Tyrod dance around the back field the entire 4rth quarter in a 3 point game only game managing a bunch of 3 and outs. Peterman was only in the Playoffs game because Tyrod turned him self into a huge target with the ball super glued to his hands all game. He got knocked out. Oh and I think that last sack he took was for a loss. -
The Bright Side Concerning Peterman
Lfod replied to ProcessTheTrust's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Peterman was drafted in a later round as an afterthought. Then he was tossed into a game too early to be the savior of a season. I agree with you that if he at least played mediocre there could be some debate. I disagree it was an ideal situation for him to start. Piss poor performing offence and all. If it makes you feel better to bring up his very awful debut and toss him in the dumpster so be it. If it helps you get through the day. I don't have any expectations but I haven't written him off and I don't think he was given a very fair chance. That's how I feel. I like Peterman better then Tyrod. At least Peterman went out swinging. Tyrod just held the ball until Jacksonville KOed him at the end of the game. Tyrod ran away while Peterman ran tword the goal. Reality check. The offense scored 3 points in a playoff game. They scored 3 points against the Panthers. They racked up 56 yarder vs the Saints. Dennisons fired and Tyrod's traded. We have a new offensive system and a new OC and a brand new back up QB to pretend to be a starter. We got bigger problems then Peterman right now.
