Go check out the video. I was just commenting on his analysis. I was just trying to see some positives. This wasn't my opinion, it was the the person breaking down the videos opinion. I'm not very optimistic about the offense next year to be honest. We have a new OC a new system and a brand new backup QB to be our starter. I'm trying to see any positive I can right now. You disagree with the breakdown and analysis in the video that's fine. I'm not going to crusade for Peterman. That 2nd game wasn't in a blizzard or wasn't a low scoring game for both teams or anything.
-
So your saying we should power slam them all through burning tables?
-
I agree that Peterman wasn't ready for the NFL. Even the snow game he did a stupid thing and left himself open for a helmet to helmet hit under the snow. Those mistakes are on him. The pressure was in his face. He should have taken the sacks. Then he would not be remembered as 5 pick Peterman. The o-line would of received the blame. I can't force you to agree with the positive things the guy in the video said about Peterman making correct reads and throwing with anticipation. Give it a view and keep an open mind. Peterman is a rookie.
-
Another thing. When you compare Tyrod to Peterman keep in mind that one guy has been a starter a few years and learned from behind the scenes for years. The other guy was in the NFL for part of a season. Oh and one guy isn't on the team anymore. I guess I was right about that one. Tyrod got his Playoff game. He lead the team to 3 points and got knocked out of the game. The legend of Tyrod right there.
-
Mills should quit football and start a career as a welcome doormat. Get him off my team. Mills master plan didn't work out so well because now Tyrod is on the worst team in football and will be benched for another rookie. Anyway if what you say is true then the organization seems to be aware of it and Mills will be gone soon enough.

Ok I checked out the highlights and read your post. I'll start first by saying I liked his interview. The yes ma'am part part shows me I don't have to worry about Baker Mayfield style crotch grabs when it comes to respect. Did I see him smiling after that fight? Bills fans complained that no one did squat after Tre White was hit by Gronk. I wonder if Lamar Jackson would run out..... I like that he has height. That was a knock on Tyrod not seeing the field because he was to short. Not sure if that was the problem but it definitely won't be an excuse with Lamar. The most dropped passes? Tyrod didn't have that problem as much because he didn't throw the ball. On a serious note, yes Lamar is going to have to live with the Tyrod/Mobile QB comparison. It may not be fair but it's going to happen. Lamar is going to have doubters but it's so much sweeter proving doubters wrong then having everyone ride your jock. It adds more fuel to your fire. I really can't say much. Any rookie we draft I will probably feel the same about because I don't follow college ball. I'll just keep the hope unless they play so bad for so many games it gets annoying and I want to run and hold the door open for them on thier way out.
-
Haha you got me. I'll go take a look and check the video out.
-
I was just reading through a lot of what you posted about the Mobile QB. It makes a lot of sense. Tyrod at first was leading a top scoring offense. As the years went on it seemed like those running lanes for him closed up and to resolve it they tried to mold him into a pocket passer and it just wasn't happening. Basically it confirmed what you posted was true because we all lived through it. I don't know about Lamar Jackson. I don't follow college ball. I'm not sure if the mobile QB is a fair label for him or not. A person smarter then me would have to dig into his passing stats and sum it up.

I agree that America has an issue. America has a few issues right now. School shootings, mass shootings, bombers, scandalous presidential candidates, Trillions in debt, government shut downs ECT ECT ECT. I could go on all day but I'll just stop there. Kneeling brought awareness that America has an issue but it didn't solve it. It only added fuel to the fire. I don't see a resolution only more debate. I wish it had solved the problem but it didn't. Show me utopia. A dude was just shot by police the other day running with a cellphone, more protests. I seen videos of protesters kicking cars. Unlike most people, I don't see an answer. It is just going to continue to get worse and worse until the entire thing breaks down. The system will collapse, the poor will tear each other apart and the military will move in to police the streets to protect the structures and businesses. Those who bow down and comply will get rations and bread lines. Those who don't will be labeled American Terrorist and um yeah... This has been in the works for years. The majority watch as it all plays out but it's new to them because they don't know the end of the story. I read the script. I know how this movie ends. I hope for the best but it won't be long I'll be jumping ship before it all goes down. I let everyone sort out thier difference from a nice safe distance. Your somebody that has fought for other people, but a guy like me... I am only fighting for my own personal survival. I wasn't born to carry anybody else's problems.

You are absolutely killing it man. Good job. I don't really know much about Lamar Jackson, but if he is just a mobile sandlot QB you definitely made a strong case that he won't be a Buffalo Bill. We definitely seen the result with Tyrod and it did trend down the longer he remained a starter.
-
Lol Tyrod was so bad it makes people hate Lamar Jackson. That is something special.

The Bills benched familiar and traded it for a 3rd. If this QB is familiar then please don't waste the pick. I want the Bills to be familiar with a guy that can lead the offense to frequent 21+ point games.

To be honest, what I want and reality are different. I can't hype myself about another teams back up pretending to be a starting QB. Then you have a new OC and new system to go along with a backup QB. It wasn't the outcome I want but it's the one I am getting. I understand it so I will learn to live with it. It's unproven so I'm at wait and see and hope for the best. Then you have Peterman. Same situation, new system new OC. He has to be able to survive an entire game. I hope his introduction into the NFL was a wake up call and I hope he is out there right now as I speak training his mind and body. Again not to much to get hyped over and it's just wait and see. Then you have the ??? as a rookie QB. Nothing proven at the NFL level and no hype for me. You only hope they choose a guy that is a natural. Same situation new OC new system. Just wait and see situation for me. You risk plugging the guy in to early and he struggles then the fans jump ship on that hype train and Beane is blamed for choosing a bust. All the magic and mystery destroyed and the teams exposed once again. All I can do is hope. Hope the new OC and System can be productive with any of the above options. Hope that it all comes together in camp and preseason and the team isn't still trying to get together during the season. It probably a lot to ask so I am actually ready to embrace ugly. What I am Hyped about is that I do have a HC and GM combo I can believe in. I don't feel like that's a wait and see situation for me. That is Playoff proven. They can do a lot with a little and still cleaning up messes they inherited. I'm all in when it comes to that. I can't vote because all of these options are unproven at the NFL level and it's all hyping myself to count on Miracles. I wanted Nick Folez because at the very least on a good team with a good offensive system he got the job done in the playoffs and the big show. That at least is proven to have worked. He wears an SB ring and he was a factor in getting it. The price was to steep and I'm over it. I'm at wait and see mode. I'm choosing to be patient because the drought was busted. If old time fans can wait 17 years for a playoff game I suppose I can wait until it's figured out. I'm just at wait and see mode. Show me something I can believe in.

The Bright Side Concerning Peterman
Lfod replied to ProcessTheTrust's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was more entertaining then watching Tyrod dance around the back field the entire 4rth quarter in a 3 point game only game managing a bunch of 3 and outs. Peterman was only in the Playoffs game because Tyrod turned him self into a huge target with the ball super glued to his hands all game. He got knocked out. Oh and I think that last sack he took was for a loss. -
The Bright Side Concerning Peterman
Lfod replied to ProcessTheTrust's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Peterman was drafted in a later round as an afterthought. Then he was tossed into a game too early to be the savior of a season. I agree with you that if he at least played mediocre there could be some debate. I disagree it was an ideal situation for him to start. Piss poor performing offence and all. If it makes you feel better to bring up his very awful debut and toss him in the dumpster so be it. If it helps you get through the day. I don't have any expectations but I haven't written him off and I don't think he was given a very fair chance. That's how I feel. I like Peterman better then Tyrod. At least Peterman went out swinging. Tyrod just held the ball until Jacksonville KOed him at the end of the game. Tyrod ran away while Peterman ran tword the goal. Reality check. The offense scored 3 points in a playoff game. They scored 3 points against the Panthers. They racked up 56 yarder vs the Saints. Dennisons fired and Tyrod's traded. We have a new offensive system and a new OC and a brand new back up QB to pretend to be a starter. We got bigger problems then Peterman right now. -
Browns Sign QB Drew Stanton to a 2-Year Deal
Lfod replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well I just have this feeling based on a few situations going on. I think Beane is to smart of a GM to have the fans sit through a season of AJ at QB in a new offensive system under a new OC without something else brewing behind the scenes. If Tyrod makes Cleveland look better and AJ makes the Bills look worse... I can only assume Beane understands that is a possibility because AJ hasn't been a starter for more then a hanful of games. I can only assume that he skipped over free agency because he has plans in the draft. So what does that have to do with the #1 pick you ask. Browns traded a 3rd for Tyrod. We as Bills fans think we can't get any better with Tyrod but the Brown giving a 3rd for him leads me to believe they think they can get better with Tyrod. The organization is nicknamed the factory of sadness for a reason. The winless season was a testament to that fact. The Browns suck. I bet they think Tyrod for a 3rd was a freaking steal. So the Browns have a history of hedging thier bets. They have traded down in the past. The GM has also openly stated that he is open to listen to offers for #1. Not #4 but specifically #1. I don't know why he would mention it if he didn't wanna at least listen to offers. The Browns might not have the Bills fan mentality of just draft a QB. They could potentially secure a lot more capital and still be at #4 to pick a QB in what I hear is a pretty QB heavy draft. Now add in the fact that we already done business with them for Tyrod the lines of communication we're open at one point. We passed on pick #3 to a division rival. If the Brown don't trade #1 to us I still think they trade it out if the price is right. Then they can grab a rookie QB at #4 and own the draft to build a team and maybe win a game with Tyrod. A rookie QB isn't making Tyrod play better next season that's for sure. Any QB they pick at #1 or #4 is going to bust because the Browns suck. The new Brownies GM understands this isn't a winning organization. I'm sure of that unless he's blind. His best shot is to build up around the present. I think he's firing off them picks but why not start at #4 with more ammo now and the future. If I was a Browns fan it's what I would want. I wouldn't want another losing season. They don't have time for a QB of the future. They got to make the QB of today look good. That's Tyrod. In my honest opinion. Tyrod the safe QB that brought his last team to the playoffs with a joke of an offence at times. The guy who doesn't make mistakes. I'll end by saying this. I don't say what I want to happen. I'm just saying what I think will happen. If we don't trade up I won't be upset. I think we have an awesome GM and HC and that to me is more important right now then blasting off all our ammo in a bet. I really don't want the Bills to pick at #1. I am scared they can't develop a QB. I seen no real progression in Tyrod. It seemed he actually got worse as time went on. It would be betting on landing an elite talent that doesn't need much development or it isn't worth the trade. -
That's a bad Omen. We need some good juju now.

Which Teams have QB Needs in this draft
Lfod replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly, if it looked like I was commenting on your reply in the negative I apologise. That wasn't my intention. My response had nothing to do with your reply to him. I was just very offended by what this dude typed. I think this guy owes us all an apology. Although I might not deserve one because I kinda fired off. -
Which Teams have QB Needs in this draft
Lfod replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Way to generalize a whole fan base because of one persons response. You sound like an elitist. You still couldn't knock me out. You are so smart then why you need others to tell you who the QB needy teams are? This is the first time I have ever felt offended by something on this board. The only thing you showed me is how special you think you are. I don't believe it. I'll need proof. I don't believe anything I read on the internet. Words are not good enough to satiate my hunger. P.S. There are many threads on the topic of QBs in this draft. You could of looked in any of those and seen all the speculation on this topic you could ever want. You think we got a special line to every teams GM and asked them specifically who is QB needy? You should learn to stay humble. You over value yourself. -
Mcdermott OT vs Indy in snow. Poll!
Lfod replied to BrycePaup4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know if he did overlook guys. I do know that the guys he did have, he ran through training camp so hard they started fighting and complaining about being tired of hitting each other. So I know at the very least he's getting the most from what he does have. I have to admire it. -

Mcdermott OT vs Indy in snow. Poll!

I agree with everything McDermott has done. I'm 100% bought in. He played it safe because he inherited a junky offense. It's like saying why don't you risk that super risky jump on this bike that has to brakes.
