  1. I'm just curious but has anybody ever had a lot of hits in a mock draft? I see them around but really only interested to see mocks by people who actually are good at it.
  2. I think it involves more details then just how good he is honestly. I wouldn't say my expectations feel low just because of him or how I think he plays. His new OC Daboll is in his first season with the Bills. How he performs as an OC and the system that he puts in place could be a factor. A lot on the offensive side of the ball is still unproven. Like including Zay Jones. The offensive unit wasn't stellar last year, a big reason the offence is transferring to a new scheme. So it's not like he's walking into a strong foundation. I'm not Lazer focused on just one guy. I'm kinda estimating based on the overall larger picture.
  3. My expectations are low right now. A backup QB signed for peanuts playing for a new OC and system. It's looking more like a snowballs chance then an honest chance but the guy has every opportunity to remove doubts my about him. None of you can do that for him right now. It has to be done on the field.
  4. I guess they figure they will keep throwing stuff at the wall until something sticks. It looks stupid and probably is. If any one of them works out people will be on here praising the Jets being so bold at the most important position in football yadda yadda ECT ECT. Hopefully in time we are all here yucking it up about how stupid the Jets look. A lot of premature judgement. Have to see the results of moves before I become critical.
  5. Exactly. I'm keeping an open to a possibility of him really making a name for himself as a Bill, but man until he does this is my expectation of him. To be average. I'm surprised people are propping him up so hard. I hope they are right. I did the hope on Tyrod thing for a few years. I got no energy left for hoping on backup QBs. I'm gonna let this guy's first 5 games make up my mind. The last thing I want is this guy making me miss Tyrod.
  6. You are right about this. I don't have high expectations for a Bengals backup that signed for peanuts but I am open minded. Prove me wrong AJ.
  7. It might of been part of the plan. It definitely part of the plan now.
  8. I love the GM and HC. I just thought that if I had to sit through a year of Mr. Peanut or 5 pick Peterman playing in a new system under an unproven OC that the consolation prize would be a high drafted QB. That way if the offence crashes and burns under the Bengals backup at least I have a hope in that last ace up the sleeve. I'm not all gloom and doom and it isn't over yet but that Jets jump to #3 kinda hurt my hopes to have that Ace up the sleeve.
  9. Well that kinda puts a damper on my impression of the Bills going big for a QB in this draft. I'm not doom and gloom but man it felt like a punch to the face reading that.
  10. We are all part of a never ending story. P.s. People seriously ruined this thread.
  11. If it makes you feel better I have never posted my own topic on this board. Think about all the stupid stuff I think that you never had to read in an original topic.
  12. Ok so it's a battle between the Bengals backup that signed for peanuts. 5 pick Peterman and some one that hasn't been drafted yet. This should get interesting! I'm still very much on board the plan but the team is leaning very hard on that drafted QB being really good. At least that is the way it looks, like they all in on a drafted QB.
  13. I just say this. I don't follow college ball. I have no clue who will be good. This message board is not liking Allen. At least the majority voice not wanting him. This board favors Rosen big time.

  15. They gave up a 3rd rounder and already named him starter. He is plan A for QB next season and they are indeed rolling with him.
  16. 1) The fans including myself needed to move on. That doesn't represent the teams feelings. Plenty of room to speculate still. Sure the Bills may have felt desperate to move on or maybe they made what they felt was a lateral move and getting a 3rd for it. 2) The GM obviously believes he can get more out of Tyrod then the Bills did. I don't think he can but time will tell. 3) That is a good point I can't argue with that. Thank you for saying this. I've seen a lot of talk of talk about how good the Browns are and will be when they had a winless year. I'm not saying it isn't possible but man that is a huge leap to think the Browns will all the sudden go from winless to very good.
  17. I'm on board with you line of thinking. The Browns said they are open to trade. They have traded out in the past. The browns on the Tyrod train right now. They actually want to be us. I think they are more interested in what they can do next season then picking a guy that will flame out anyway because the Brown suck. I think they plan to build around Tyrod and push to win 6 games next season. The Browns want to win now I imagine. A 3rd for Tyrod is panic mode for making a difference next season. Don't let responses rattle you. Your talking to the QB is life crowd so anything other then QB is blasphemy.
  18. Sure I understand nothing is certain. You go sky diving it isn't certain your parachute will open. Yet there you are on the plane with the gear on and you look ready to jump.
  19. I just have this strange feeling that the Bills didn't trade up to #12 to pick at #12. Like they intend to move up as far as they can in the draft to select a QB. I know it sounds dumb but I think the Bills are not done moving up yet.
  20. I was thinking that if he couldn't hold down a gig for the Raiders then he probably was done in the NFL. Time will tell.
  21. I understand what your saying. Tyrod has a potential to win games and he did. He also had a potential to play it safe with 3 points on the board until the end of the game. Tyrod also landed on what most might agree is one of the worst teams in the NFL right now. I'm not bashing Tyrod. I'm not bashing the Browns. I just wouldn't put a whole lot of stock that Tyrod gets them into a 500 range. Although I do plan on keeping track of how he does with the Browns. It will be very sad if a winless team can get production out of a QB that a borderline playoff team couldn't get when they finally did sneak in.
  22. Not really surprised by this. I figured that was the plan when they traded for him. I was kinda expecting him to be a starter.
  23. I would think if it was going to happen it would have by now. So I guess since it hasn't happened it probably won't. So using logic it's probably best to let this one go.
  24. I think it makes sense and I like it. We need some one to play QB until the drafted QB is ready.
  25. I'm really starting to admire Brandon Beane. I really like his work so far and it's really building up into something nice. I'm looking forward to the outcome. He got himself into better position using pieces that didn't factor much, it was a job well done. Now let's see if he can finish the draft strong and land that franchise QB.
