Biggest FA regret coming from Buffalo
Lfod replied to ProcessYaDigg's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just saying I legit seen Nathan Peterson on this board a few times. Not that it bothers me. Just came to confirm that. -
I think Allen's gone like above poster said. I'll roll with the boards love for Jackson.

Browns Sign QB Drew Stanton to a 2-Year Deal

No one will ever foret the day the Bills traded for the #1 pick. I'll just keep stacking the bread crumbs. -

I repeat #1 is in the bag. -
Predictions for the time capsule
Lfod replied to Wings and Beer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Darnold - (Bust) Browns Suck Rosen- (Great) Definitely has a SB win. Allen- (Good) Never makes it to a SB. Mayfield -(Mega Bust) Jackson- (Good) Never wind a SB. -
Welcome. We have a lot of Browns fans on this board as well. Only they dress as Bills fans to try and trick us.

A lot of work being done on busted plays. Awareness to reach out for the Pylon. Makes defenders miss. Nice spin move out of a tackle. Deep throws into tight windows. Takes the game into his own hands and runs for a first down and a touchdown. Hits a wide open gaping hole and runs for a nice play. Korn was one of my favorite bands growing up. Surprised I never heard of him.

Well that Seals it Josh Allen # 1 over all

You are evil! Browns going QB at #1 and #4 would be epic! -
Sam Darnold Wants to Go to Cleveland
Lfod replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with that. I think you guys are right about the fact that Cleveland owns this draft and should be trending up in the future. I just think some are over zealous about how fast it all goes down. If the Bills had the Browns picks I would think the same thing if we went winless last season. -

Browns might be in great position. They might transition to a better team. Saying they will go from winless to 500 or better in a season is kinda like saying Peterman will lead the Bills to the Playoffs next season. A lot is unknown but I agree they have potential. -

Bills fans are just getting caught thinking the grass is greener on the other side. They love the Browns picks and once the season starts and the Browns go 2-5 to start they will come flocking home. -
Sam Darnold Wants to Go to Cleveland
Lfod replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't care if I throw in the rain. It doesn't matter if it makes me look bad because the Browns have the #1 pick and are up my backside about picking me anyway. I have no choice. "I'm trying to go to Cleveland" Darnold expressed in a very sarcastic tone. -
Again, bills HAVE called up to browns for first overall
Lfod replied to *******'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thank you. I'll do some thinking on it. I can only offer that the article I posted is more recent then this one. So the GM has said he is open to trade after this article. -

Do you have a link to that quote? I never seen it. I believe you, just would like the link. -

“There’s a lot of things I can do at No. 1 and not just get a quarterback,” Dorsey I'm just saying looking at history and what the GM for the Browns have said. I don't know why you listen to trade offers if your 100% dead locked on taking a QB at #1. Seems like a pointless avenue to take if his mind was made up. I don't think it is. -

They traded a 3rd for Tyrod. They have a QB. https://www.google.com/amp/s/articles.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2017/04/cleveland_browns_trade_down_fr.amp https://www.google.com/amp/s/articles.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2016/04/browns_trade_down_from_no_2_to.amp History is on my side. https://www.google.com/amp/profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/03/01/browns-open-to-everything-with-no-1-pick-including-a-trade/amp/ Oh and that to. You think the Brows need to go QB. They say different. “There’s a lot of things I can do at No. 1 and not just get a quarterback,” Dorsey -

I've been saying it since they traded Tyrod to the Browns and the Browns GM said he would listen to offers for the pick. I'm convinced #1 is in the bag. The argument the Browns have to take a QB at #1 is weak. History is on my side. Browns have been trading out in the past. The Browns are good at losing and getting high picks and that's all they proven. They didn't win a single game last year and people think it's a well run football team just because they have #1 and #4. -

"If your not first your last." - Ricky Bobby -
I filled the ? for you. I would hate to think we traded Tyrod for a 3rd if they didn't seriously think they could find an upgrade. I can't imagine how bad that will look if Tyrod lights it up and who ever we start is worse. That will be very telling. If that happens I will kinda lose serious faith in the GM and HC. Imagine the media bashing that will come with that. How good Tyrod looks for the Browns will effect how the Bills look for shipping him for a pick.

I think your heart in the right place. I think you are drawing similarities in your life to Johnny's life. As far as addiction and recovery goes, obviously you root for a person to recover. I think that is the place the similarities end. At one point he was a high draft pick in the NFL. Kudos to him for that because that in itself is an incredible achievement that not many people will achieve. So why didn't he take the CFL route to prove that he has changed and fully focused on football? It was rumored the contract was out there and he turned it down. It has a feeling of a guy that feels he is entitled to an NFL job. I don't think he is entilted to a job in the NFL. It isn't because he had a drinking problem. I think he doesn't deserve a shot because he skipped the CFL route and placing all his hopes into showing up at a PRO day and being seen. That doesn't sound like a guy with the attitude of doing everything and anything to prove he's serious about the job. That sounds like a guy with a big ego that wants to skip past building his reputation up because he's still living in the past. I was drafted I should be able to walk right back in the NFL. I think you and Johnny are not realizing that the CFL would be him picking up the pieces and getting it together. It's a QB starved league. He's betting on a teams desperation instead of a team scouting him in the CFL reformed playing well and worthy of another try in the NFL. So instead of seeing a season of proof the guy is on track in the CFL to change my mind. I only see him show up for one pro day.
-
Well I can't argue with that. It wouldn't upset me if that's how it end up.
-
It also could be that they wanted to but couldn't. So if it doesn't happen I won't just assume it was because they didn't try like most people will.

Michael Bennett - warrant out for arrest
Lfod replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't see him say anything about any protest in the comment you quoted. I need clarification about what protest this guy was in and was arrested. I also didn't see the term "black guy" in his comments at all. Please direct me to where he was specifically pointing that out. Everyone is not racist and not everything has to go down that road. A person can be equally disguested at anybody reportedly beating on somebody's grandma. I'm not in denial about racism. I've seen it. I know it exists. I just don't think it helps the cause turning every stone over looking for it. It's not good for mental health. I want to be able to comment on something without alternative agendas being forced on me. Thank you for you time. P.S. http://criminal.findlaw.com/criminal-procedure/what-is-an-indictment.html Says you need a grand jury and some evidence for one of those.
