  1. we’ll see. If we can be a perennial playoff team / Super Bowl contender for the next decade-plus, I’ll say it was worth it for sure
  2. that’s exactly what it is. Manchin is a very moderate Democrat, so anything Joe can do to tio the scales a little...
  3. Shrimp scampi, shrimp sandwiches, shrimp gumbo...
  4. @DrDawkinstein I didn’t want to reply to you on TSW because it’s delving into an area more political, but: “If you all want full attendance (which we all do) then we should be pushing to make sure everyone gets vaccinated, and we hit that 70% level asap. If people still want to make a juvenile stand about "choice" then it will be their fault when we arent back to 100% open and we can't go to Bills games.” The whole point of the shutdowns / drastically reduced attendance was to protect THE ELDERLY AND MOST VULNERABLE. (There’s a significant overlap in the Venn Diagram of those two groups, btw). As per Poloncarz’ presser yesterday, over 70.6% of the 65+ crowd in Erie County has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. 67% statewide. Those numbers will continue to grow over the next couple months, at which point you’ll be left with the stubborn folks who just don’t want the vaccine for whatever reason. We CANNOT keep moving the goalposts. This idea that the whole have to be punished because of a few is completely bizarre and unhealthy. People have lives to lead. That being said, our local and state leadership has proven themselves to be completely incompetent (in a whole host of areas), so I fear that’s what will happen this coming Bills season unfortunately.
  5. what exactly in my post was a “false narrative”? I did miss the bolded (I’m not a STH’er myself), and it’s a good sign, but...

  7. it to answer your question, OP, there hasn’t been a peep from the Bills besides the generic “oh, we jope we can welcome everyone back for the 2021 season!” stuff. A lot of musical acts are already pushing their tours off until 2022, but that’s kind of apples and oranges (a lot of the shows take place in states that are a little more... umm... restrictive and it’s not financially feasible to just avoid those states altogether I guess). They’ll likely wait til the last possible moment to make the dreaded “reduced capacity” announcement if it comes to that.
  8. shouldn’t be any “maybe” about it, but..... ya know. Already, 70% of Erie County residents aged 65 and over have been fully vaccinated.
  9. if a WR happens to be the best player on the board when #30 rolls around, I bet Beane grabs him. Would definitely be a “rich get richer” scenario for our offense!
  10. as long as it’s not a kicker, punter, long snapper, or quarterback, I’m good.
  11. sadly, you are correct. Also, who knows what the rules for large events in NY State (with regards to social distancing and other health restrictions) will even look like 5-10 years from now.
  12. meanwhile, in New York State...
  13. Decent haul considering the Jets are giving up on him (and very likely, he’s not that good anyway). I welcome whoever the Bills’ new punching bag will be to the division
  14. true that. But, better to finance it through significant ticket price increases or even PSLs, then put the taxpayer on the hook when local and state finances are already a mess.
  15. exactly why (at least, one reason) I’m adamant that the new Bills Stadium should not be funded with one dollar of taxpayer money.
  16. my vice-president is going to be a woman, guys. A WOMAN OF COLOR.
  17. yeah... I figured there already wasn’t overtime in preseason.
  18. hahaha. Shoutout to everyone who obsesses over that sort of thing. Happy April Fool’s!
  19. It’ll probably become a Tim Hortons or Delta Sonic...
  20. that’s a great point too. Let’s get fans back in the friggin’ current stadium, first.
