  1. truthfully, doesn’t really matter to me as long as we win and there’s a full house. Preferably at the Ralph, but we opened at home last season so I’m thinking we’ll be on the road week 1.
  2. it’s MUH RIGHT to have a ballot drop box within walking distance from muh apartment, goshdurnit.
  3. Yikes. that’s a pretty gross (over)-generalization of people who don’t want this vaccine.
  4. it’s the new normal, after all. Get with the times, @Beast.
  5. Yep. This. People are greatly overthinking things when it comes to what the landscape should look like later this summer.
  6. they’re ALLOWING humans to attend? Wow. That’s really nice of them.
  7. it’s pretty much a slam dunk at this point...
  8. holy crap. You must feel like you’re living in a South Park episode. (To be fair, I’ve felt that way a lot over the past 13 months too).
  9. it’s an interesting study, but hopefully the eager-beavers that run the show don’t have it in the back of their mind when deciding whether to ease public-gathering restrictions here (or anywhere, for that matter).
  10. welp, there goes the neighborhood. Purchasing my cardboard cutout in Section 133 as we speak.
  11. we’ll see. If we can be a perennial playoff team / Super Bowl contender for the next decade-plus, I’ll say it was worth it for sure
  12. that’s exactly what it is. Manchin is a very moderate Democrat, so anything Joe can do to tio the scales a little...
  13. Shrimp scampi, shrimp sandwiches, shrimp gumbo...
  14. @DrDawkinstein I didn’t want to reply to you on TSW because it’s delving into an area more political, but: “If you all want full attendance (which we all do) then we should be pushing to make sure everyone gets vaccinated, and we hit that 70% level asap. If people still want to make a juvenile stand about "choice" then it will be their fault when we arent back to 100% open and we can't go to Bills games.” The whole point of the shutdowns / drastically reduced attendance was to protect THE ELDERLY AND MOST VULNERABLE. (There’s a significant overlap in the Venn Diagram of those two groups, btw). As per Poloncarz’ presser yesterday, over 70.6% of the 65+ crowd in Erie County has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. 67% statewide. Those numbers will continue to grow over the next couple months, at which point you’ll be left with the stubborn folks who just don’t want the vaccine for whatever reason. We CANNOT keep moving the goalposts. This idea that the whole have to be punished because of a few is completely bizarre and unhealthy. People have lives to lead. That being said, our local and state leadership has proven themselves to be completely incompetent (in a whole host of areas), so I fear that’s what will happen this coming Bills season unfortunately.
  15. what exactly in my post was a “false narrative”? I did miss the bolded (I’m not a STH’er myself), and it’s a good sign, but...

  17. it to answer your question, OP, there hasn’t been a peep from the Bills besides the generic “oh, we jope we can welcome everyone back for the 2021 season!” stuff. A lot of musical acts are already pushing their tours off until 2022, but that’s kind of apples and oranges (a lot of the shows take place in states that are a little more... umm... restrictive and it’s not financially feasible to just avoid those states altogether I guess). They’ll likely wait til the last possible moment to make the dreaded “reduced capacity” announcement if it comes to that.
  18. shouldn’t be any “maybe” about it, but..... ya know. Already, 70% of Erie County residents aged 65 and over have been fully vaccinated.
  19. if a WR happens to be the best player on the board when #30 rolls around, I bet Beane grabs him. Would definitely be a “rich get richer” scenario for our offense!
  20. as long as it’s not a kicker, punter, long snapper, or quarterback, I’m good.
