  1. Ok now that the entire incentive package is out I'm good with the deal. I'll be rooting for him to hit the max since that means a whole lot of sacks and a SB appearance. The other option is for him to hit 0 and earn none of them. Worst case scenario is he makes it to 8 sacks with all of them coming in garbage time against bad teams.
  2. There's plenty of cheap UFA's available that are better as well. Puzzling decision to say the least
  3. Feels like Beane kinda bungled this going back to 2022. Should've given a higher rd tender to Bates, but didn't. Then when the Bears offer sheeted him we matched it. We paid a lot for 2 seasons from a backup O-line and now we're eating 4mm deadcap for a depth guy. At least we got a 5th rd pick I guess.
  4. In a hypothetical world, yes, someone could make an offer that would make me want to trade Milano. I think a 1st + is a decent starting point. In the real world, who the heck would be willing to trade a 1st + for Milano when he's coming off a major injury ? He has a 14.8mm active cap hit this coming season and will trigger 25mm in dead cap if we trade him. We would need a huge trade return to make up for the cap hit, not to mention losing a great player.
  5. I know it's lame to complain about the refs, but if that game had been officiated to the standard we saw in the regular season Ed would've drawn at least 3 holding penalties. There was an egregious no call on Floyd too
  6. Sure, you normally have 1 if not 2 bitter people after a breakup. Barring a scandal by Josh (like cheating), what type of private information do you think she has that Josh would be willing to pay millions of dollars to keep quiet ?
  7. Eh, it might make some sense for superstar players with $100+million contracts that did something wrong that caused the breakup. Paying an ex a few million might be better than losing out on potential endorsements. There's absolutely no way it's standard practice for NFL players though. Wasn't Travis Henry up to 11 kids with 10 women? Imagine if he tried paying for 10 NDA's lol
  8. Tyreek Hill is human filth, but I doubt he would lose this case. She was participating in sporting drills and suffered an injury. Injuries are a risk that everyone accepts when doing stuff like that. At least she'll gain a lot of followers out of this and get some $$$
  9. For an article that's patting McD on the back for being great at self-evaluation.... there's a stunning lack of self-evaluation actually going on. He insisted he trusts his system because he has won more often than any coach in Bills history. All those wins might have more to do with Josh Allen than it does your system coach... “Had I not faked that punt, with what I knew going into that situation, it would have been a failure had I not tried,” McDermott said. “I would have gone home that night saying, ‘What would have happened had I faked that punt?’ Why aren't you saying "Maybe I should've left my franchise QB out there to go for it instead of a fake punt to a guy with 0 career touches" ? McDermott simply doesn’t see any competitive value in being chatty. And he’s still not going to disclose what happened in those 13 Seconds. He iterated he knows what happened, and it was addressed internally. McD knows what went wrong and 'fixed' it. He refuses to share with the class though...
  10. I agree with the sentiment. Anywhere BUT the Chiefs though. Maybe we should go after Tommy Townsend. Revenge of the punters
  11. Ralph is cheap He skipped out on the phone bill
  12. The problem is what are you going to do with a top 15 QB that's going to get paid nearly as much a a top 5 guy ? His comparables are guys like Daniel Jones and Derek Carr. Maybe you can make the wildcard while paying a QB like that but you'll never go far
  13. I'd say the Bills/Bengals game was a lot like the Chiefs/Bucs game. Bills and Chiefs both came out flat and got dominated at the LOS. The QB did what they could, but the rest of the team was atrocious (offense and defense). Chiefs allowed 31 points to the Texans in a playoff win. However, 7 of those points came on a blocked punt and another 7 came on a 6 yard drive after a muffed punt. You guys forced 4 turnover on downs, 1 fumble, and 3 punts. Despite the 31 points this was a significantly better DEF performance than the 27 points allowed by the Bills vs Bengals (or the most recent Chiefs game). Even the Chiefs D performance against the Eagles is better than any Bills loss. 2 forced punts and a turnover that the DEF returned for a TD.
  14. Well now you just sound like a bitter Bills fan masquerading as a Chiefs fan lol. I don't think any Bills fan with 2 brain cells to rub together (admittedly a high bar) thinks we need an elite defense across the board. We just need one that doesn't get torched in the playoffs. Imagine if Mahomes had to deal with his defense playing like KC did against the Patriots in the AFCCG every single season. KC DEF forced 2 turnovers, a turnover on downs, and 2 punts against the Pats. That's arguably a BETTER defensive performance than any of the last 4 playoff losses by the Bills.
  15. Did you even watch the Bucs in the playoffs for their superbowl run? Brady was mediocre and did not have to be clutch in any of the games.
  16. Strongly disagree. With our defensive alignment I think there's 25+ QBs that could've pulled off the 13 second drive. I'll grant that maybe McD would've called different plays if it wasn't Mahomes back there, but that's impossible to know. It's part of what makes 13 seconds just that galling. It's one thing to lose to Mahomes when he pulls magic out of his butt. It's another to literally hand him free plays on a silver platter. I think the average TBD poster could've made the first throw to Tyreek.
  17. Imagine getting fired after holding KC to 19 points in regulation (7 off a special teams turnover) while forcing 5 punts and 2 turnovers. That's light years better than any Bills DEF performance against the Chiefs in the playoffs.
  18. Very few execution mistakes ? There were seven 3 and outs and 4 turnovers. Offensively the game was a complete slop-fest until the 4th Q/OT. I don't know that this superbowl showed much of anything other than it's possible to win even when your team didn't play well.
  19. What I find interesting is that 24 out of the 50 voters left Josh entirely off their ballot. In what world does he not deserve at least a top 5 vote for this season ?
  20. If you're going to have a bad game, don't do it in a national primetime game like Josh did against the Jets. Do it in a game no one is watching. https://www.espn.com/nfl/game/_/gameId/401547460/ravens-steelers And make sure to throw the ball away or take a sack on 4th down rather than 'risk' a turnover. 4th & 2 at PIT 23 (0:13 - 2nd) (No Huddle, Shotgun) L.Jackson pass incomplete deep right to Z.Flowers [C.Holcomb]. 4th & 7 at BAL 28 (0:15 - 4th) (Shotgun) L.Jackson sacked at BLT 22 for -6 yards (T.Watt). PENALTY on PIT-T.Watt, Unsportsmanlike Conduct, 15 yards, enforced between downs.
  21. 2 playoff wins in his career. Who could forget the thrilling 20-13 victory over the Ryan Tannehill Titans in 2020?
  22. He's good but not great. I think his stats this year were mostly a result of being healthy and playing on a good offense. 1) Drops. 4 easy TDs dropped this season 2) Fumbles 3) Unwillingly to lower his head for extra yards. He had a few plays this year where he made a 'business decision' to quit on plays rather than try to plow ahead for a 1st. Not a good look when your teams QB is looking for more contact than your RB1 Mildly disappointing for a 2nd rd RB pick, but he's fine for now. No need to look for an upgrade until his rookie contract is up
  23. I'll guess 5 years 280 mil. The next guy that signs always gets the highest AAV The Fish will structure the contract for lower guarantees and have outs though. It'll be interesting to see if Allen re-negotiates before his contract is up. His AAV is 43mm and if he was signing a contract today it would be close to 60mm. Thankfully he seems to care more about winning a championship than maximizing personal earnings.
  24. Maybe we should ask Frazier and Dorsey what it was like to work for McD
  25. Can't say I'm surprised by the hire. McBeane are loyal guys and like to promote from within. Brady had Josh running the ball a lot more and the offense seemed like they were having more fun out there. Total yards and points are pretty comparable between the Brady games and Dorsey games. The Brady-offense was mediocre to bad in the wins against Chiefs, Chargers, Patriots, and Dolphins. I wonder how Brady would be viewed on here had Toney not lined up offside. Or if the DEF didn't force 4 turnovers vs the Pats. Or if the Dolphins had the punt return for a TD instead of us. Ironically enough the defense saw a bigger improvement after we fired Dorsey than the offense did.
