  1. Peyton Manning first playoff loss to Patriots: 23/47 for 237 yards 1 TD 4 INTs (FWIW josh has 4 career postseason ints) 2nd playoff loss to Patriots: 27/42 for 238 yards 0 TD 1 INT The Colts lost those games 24-14 and 20-3. Peyton's defense put up respectable games, but he was TERRIBLE in those losses. There's also a long list of bad playoff games by Manning against teams other than the Patriots. I'd say either of those games are significantly worse than Josh's worst postseason game.
  2. I didn't realize that Allen played defense against Mahomes and allowed such ridiculous numbers. Thanks for letting us know that it's really Allens fault and the Bills defense is not responsible.
  3. Speaking for myself, I lost respect for him when he failed to take any ownership of the 13 second meltdown.
  4. IDK I think the Chiefs messed this one up. Trading a good CB1 for a 3rd round pick is not good value. They could've let him walk and get a 3rd round comp pick.
  5. He thinks it doesn't get cold in Colorado ? It's very comparable temperature wise to Chicago/Buffalo
  6. What ranking are you using? Based on his receptions and yards from last season he's still really overpaid. We're paying Knox to be a good to great TE1 and he's performing like a low end TE2. When you look at his active and dead cap hit for 2025 and 2026 he's one of the worst TE contracts in the league. It never made sense to give Knox a big contract and then trade up to draft Kincaid in the 1st. Beane is now doubling down on his mistake by increasing the dead cap from Knox when we inevitably release him after 2025 or 2026.
  7. It's not like Butker missed a couple of 30 yard FGs. He missed a PAT and a 50 yard FG at the end of the 1st half (hardly an 'easy' kick).
  8. It's not like Mahomes is perfect. He had an open TD to Rice at the end of regulation in the SB but he tunnel visioned on Kelce instead. He had a pretty bad SB until the 4th Q, including an awful INT. The big difference is that Mahomes kicker did his job and KC's def did their job to give Mahomes more chances to win the game.
  9. All the cuts were pretty easy to see coming. Can't disagree with any of them. Don't know if trading Bates for a 5th makes sense after releasing Morse. I'm luke warm on Dawkins extension. He's an overall good player, but doesn't seem to take his craft seriously. He's an overweight smack talker that comes up small in big moments. I would've let the contract play out this season and make a decision next year. Lewis/Rapp are MEH. If they turn out to be capable starters those are great deals, but at this point in their career why would we think they could be capable starters? They are good depth guy and nothing else. Weird to splurge on depth guys when you are tight against the cap.
  10. It's a formula that the NFL has kept secret, but there's been enough comp picks awarded that people have figured the formula out. It's shocking to see a pick not awarded as expected. I can't remember the last time (ever?) this happened
  11. Ok now that the entire incentive package is out I'm good with the deal. I'll be rooting for him to hit the max since that means a whole lot of sacks and a SB appearance. The other option is for him to hit 0 and earn none of them. Worst case scenario is he makes it to 8 sacks with all of them coming in garbage time against bad teams.
  12. There's plenty of cheap UFA's available that are better as well. Puzzling decision to say the least
  13. Feels like Beane kinda bungled this going back to 2022. Should've given a higher rd tender to Bates, but didn't. Then when the Bears offer sheeted him we matched it. We paid a lot for 2 seasons from a backup O-line and now we're eating 4mm deadcap for a depth guy. At least we got a 5th rd pick I guess.
  14. In a hypothetical world, yes, someone could make an offer that would make me want to trade Milano. I think a 1st + is a decent starting point. In the real world, who the heck would be willing to trade a 1st + for Milano when he's coming off a major injury ? He has a 14.8mm active cap hit this coming season and will trigger 25mm in dead cap if we trade him. We would need a huge trade return to make up for the cap hit, not to mention losing a great player.
  15. I know it's lame to complain about the refs, but if that game had been officiated to the standard we saw in the regular season Ed would've drawn at least 3 holding penalties. There was an egregious no call on Floyd too
  16. Sure, you normally have 1 if not 2 bitter people after a breakup. Barring a scandal by Josh (like cheating), what type of private information do you think she has that Josh would be willing to pay millions of dollars to keep quiet ?
  17. I love Josh, but this isn't that outlandish. The #1 pick in a draft with a (supposedly) generational QB talent is incredibly valuable. Add in their 2025 1st and a roster player of our choice and I'd seriously consider it.
  18. Eh, it might make some sense for superstar players with $100+million contracts that did something wrong that caused the breakup. Paying an ex a few million might be better than losing out on potential endorsements. There's absolutely no way it's standard practice for NFL players though. Wasn't Travis Henry up to 11 kids with 10 women? Imagine if he tried paying for 10 NDA's lol
  19. Tyreek Hill is human filth, but I doubt he would lose this case. She was participating in sporting drills and suffered an injury. Injuries are a risk that everyone accepts when doing stuff like that. At least she'll gain a lot of followers out of this and get some $$$
  20. For an article that's patting McD on the back for being great at self-evaluation.... there's a stunning lack of self-evaluation actually going on. He insisted he trusts his system because he has won more often than any coach in Bills history. All those wins might have more to do with Josh Allen than it does your system coach... “Had I not faked that punt, with what I knew going into that situation, it would have been a failure had I not tried,” McDermott said. “I would have gone home that night saying, ‘What would have happened had I faked that punt?’ Why aren't you saying "Maybe I should've left my franchise QB out there to go for it instead of a fake punt to a guy with 0 career touches" ? McDermott simply doesn’t see any competitive value in being chatty. And he’s still not going to disclose what happened in those 13 Seconds. He iterated he knows what happened, and it was addressed internally. McD knows what went wrong and 'fixed' it. He refuses to share with the class though...
  21. I agree with the sentiment. Anywhere BUT the Chiefs though. Maybe we should go after Tommy Townsend. Revenge of the punters
  22. Ralph is cheap He skipped out on the phone bill
  23. The problem is what are you going to do with a top 15 QB that's going to get paid nearly as much a a top 5 guy ? His comparables are guys like Daniel Jones and Derek Carr. Maybe you can make the wildcard while paying a QB like that but you'll never go far
  24. I'd say the Bills/Bengals game was a lot like the Chiefs/Bucs game. Bills and Chiefs both came out flat and got dominated at the LOS. The QB did what they could, but the rest of the team was atrocious (offense and defense). Chiefs allowed 31 points to the Texans in a playoff win. However, 7 of those points came on a blocked punt and another 7 came on a 6 yard drive after a muffed punt. You guys forced 4 turnover on downs, 1 fumble, and 3 punts. Despite the 31 points this was a significantly better DEF performance than the 27 points allowed by the Bills vs Bengals (or the most recent Chiefs game). Even the Chiefs D performance against the Eagles is better than any Bills loss. 2 forced punts and a turnover that the DEF returned for a TD.
