  1. He does contradict himself a lot. And as if Tyrod was racially discriminated against here! He was the starter wasn't he? It seems a recurring theme every time a Black GM, coach or player is demoted or fired: it's racial. *rolls eyes* No wonder people are reluctant to hire them! This doesn't help their cause at all. And the the league is full of Black QBs, and the media drools over them. The cold hard stats, which don't always tell the whole story but are used well here, do indicate Tyrod is a least average or slightly above, and well, so far no QB on this Bills team has ever come even close to beating him. Cardale, EJ, now Peterman? He's miles better than them. And when he came up and had the 3 QB open contests, he beat the other two. He solidified his place as #1. Now design schemes to his strengths dammit, as it should always had been! I agreed with the Peterman change. The team needed a spark. The management needed to know for 2018 and beyond. I think it's crystal clear: Tyrod is #1 in Buffalo, and should remain so for 2018! His salary will be big but on line with what a 12th-18th ranked QB earns in the NFL. No one so far has come up to oust him, not even close. Unless they get Cousins or whomever in the free market, Tyrod's the man!
  2. This year illustrates how bad the drafts and trades have been from previous regimes. I'd say talent is the #1 issue. But come on, the schemes and coaching problems are also on full display as well. And Rex might have been a clown, but his players didn't quit on him at least! McD had his players focused & disciplined way more than Ryan, then something ha penned and we have these last 3 games...
  3. Well, I can understand the feeling. The last 3 games have been the worst 3 game stretch ever. I will watch Sunday. But if that is also horrible, not as in a loss but in another horrible blowout, I'm done... for this year. I don't even watch other games this year and I used to.
  4. Indeed. I remember that play vividly as well. I couldn't get why THIS time the play was to throw on first down after 3 picks and 6 DBs on the field! On the flip side, recall when Preston Brown totally knew the play after Rivers had called it? Rivers was pissed at Lynn, rightfully so. At least on the D side they can audible!
  5. You're right. So we'll see about Beane. But McD? He lost a lot of feathers in the last 2 weeks!
  6. Yep. Points #3 & #5 are what is totally baffling. I don't get it, you don't, and obviously... the coaches don't either! Tyrod showed how much he is needed, but so does Glenn IMO. While I like him, I thought he was vastly overpaid. Not anymore. The OL sucks without him.
  7. Well, that's what changed since the 2nd blowout, and even more so after this one. Most of us, and I'm sure, most of the PLAYERS, now doubt the "process" too. McD and staff look like amateurs now. And while I like many have disliked Dennison and Castillo since week 1, we still trusted McD and Frazier. Who does today? I didn't think that there would be voices clamoring for a new coach or praising Rex this year! Yet here we are. And in all that, the Bills can STILL make the playoffs, as unlikely as it feels right now. The draft talk assumes that the Bills staff will select the right players. You trust them on this?
  8. After a loss it's fair weather doom and gloom crybabies. But after THREE CONSECUTIVE BLOWOUTS how exactly is it supposed to be? All rosy and optimistic?
  9. Now everybody piles it on... and the last 3 games sure indicates they're right. But if you didn't have these thought before, stop playing Mr Know-it-Alls. Who didn't think McD was quite an upgrade over Ryan? That maybe the Bills might have stuck gold with this coach? Now everything goes to the trash heap. I'm baffled. I mean we Bills fans have seem a lot of atrocious play the last 17 years, but these last 3 games beat them all. If Tyrod IS less conservative, at last, just maybe there is a way to squeak in the playoffs just yet. Forget about the drafts. There are so many holes, no way that "tanking" is the way
  10. Having Shady who is a strength in the pass game as well as the run. A QB that can run. And seeing such little creativity... I want Dennison out more than anything. And Castillo.
  11. And now Peterman has been crushed. He has no credibility with his teammates anymore. Talk about an horror outcome. Wow. He was the #2 and Tyrod can get injured! It'd be Joe Webb time?
  12. I was one of that opinion. And it was the widespread one too. The Bills were a few kicks and plays out of the playoffs with goofy Rex. Just like with Marrone they were in had they won against the Raiders. I still don't get WTH but they've fallen off a cliff. The talent pool is weak! The fact they are STILL in the playoff mix makes it even more torture. As hope doesn't die easy, and I hope they turn it around against KC!
  13. Indeed. they got blown up time and time again since. Why???
  14. That was part of it but the run D was stout, and the secondary was a pleasant surprise. Now the secondary have to most of the tackles against the run!! OL can't pass protect or run block. And on and on. The downfall is complete and across the board except special teams.
  15. They have so many holes to fill it's scary! Thread title is right on cue. I still can get how they had such a great start to the year, and then get DESTROYED three games in a row!!! Has it ever happened?? Not that I remember
  16. Forget the QB. The whole team sucks! I've never been this discouraged in the whole drought. So many holes to fill it'll make many drafts. Some of the strengths are with older players so they too will become weaknesses. This is baaaaaaaaadddddddd
  17. Did you mention that BEFORE the game? Easy to write that now! Just read this board. Most of us agreed.
  18. This is so awful they HAVE to put TT back for the 2nd half. But to the "losing the locker room" crowd. I still agreed with the change. The fact they are getting blown out 3 games in a row, now THAT'S a reason to lose a locker room.
  19. He hadn't got any help... and he doesn't deliver. WTH happened to the Bills? The O-Line is really bad and no run D while it was strength. We've seen many bad streaks but this has to be the worst. It's like they've gone good to super bad since the Jets game. I just don't get what happened
  20. First off, I agree with switch, and hopefully Peterman pans out or this season and probably 2018 is toast. But come on. Tyrod is still a starter for half the teams. And yes, a conservative coach who has a strong defense will love a guy that doesn't throw picks!
  21. Nothing more to add, well I like the "it takes 2" angle LOL
  22. Well he's right. Most people suffer from the "grass is greener on the other side" except for a lots of Bills fans. It's like only this team has holes, has made bad decisions, we're doomed anyway and on and on. TBH, I'm not convinced at all the Bills will end the drought this year, but I won't be screaming about tanking and that they have no chanche, and that the two games vs the Pats are already lost and on and on. WTH is that about? And I hate the constant tanking talk. Some of the current key players are getting up there in age. As with any team, if the Bills draft well sure it might pay great dividends.. mostly in 2019 and beyond. And while that would mean some positions are greatly improved, some will regress for sure, and most will stay about the same, so it makes no sense for a coach and GM to "tank"! This move to Peterman might be a blessing, a curse, or neither, but I'm sure they did it cause they think it can improve the chance to win, not to lose the rest of the year!
  23. Is he a starter? Hell yes in at least 15 teams. We'll see if Peterman is better, and hopefully he is, but Tyrod sure was better than any other Bills QB while he was here besides NP if he pans out. Is he a superstar? Nope. Lack of audibles, passes down the middle, lack of anticipation, not reading all the filed, etc. We all saw his limitations. But he sure had strengths too.
  24. The comment infers that there is something uniquely negative based on skin color. This is a racist remark. There is no excuse for it. Ha come on. Besides supposing his fiance was White (and maybe he was seeing her on the phone?) you have to really interpret what is saying to find racism. Smart joke? Of course not. But damn people are waaaayyyy too sensitive these days.
