  1. That’s encouraging. I don’t think Knox is as bad as some make him out to be. He could potentially breakout and be a star player. Definitely within the realms of possibility.
  2. Right, it’s all about that QB, man. I think they have a shot at Trey Lance whom I feel will actually be a good QB but, it may take 2-3 years to develop him. Can Bill Belichick stomach losing the division 2-3 times over the next three years? What will happen in that scenario?
  3. He’s great in coverage, but not physical against the run.
  4. Marcus Cannon was traded, wasn’t he? Edelman is old and Gilmore is a soft player, isn’t he over 30? I admit their defense is decent, but I look forward to us going up against Stephon “traitor” Gilmore. He went to our biggest rival and I look forward to the Bills pummeling them twice next year. Their offense is terrible, Josh is the best QB in the division, so long as he stays healthy we’ll be AFC East Division Champs x2.
  5. I don’t know, what they’ve done is pretty underwhelming to me.
  6. Not running the right formations. 🤷‍♂️
  7. I do, but that situation was grossly mismanaged.
  8. I think the problem is we need to run more big sets, heavy sets and twin TE packages. Having a FB may help or a gifted TE that can play H-back. We seem to play a fair amount of spread packages with more WRs on the field, which should be the dominant staple and feature in our offense but it’s harder to run in those type of packages although if you have a RB who can catch the ball fluently then the pass could be an extension of the running game though though the box score stats may say otherwise. Regardless I’d say an upgrade at TE is in order, may arguably be our biggest need.
  9. I see no harm in doing so. If one of them is hot, feature them. If not rotate and play your hottest hand.
  10. I think $10M perhaps would be reasonable but $12.5M+? Absolutely not.
  11. That’s crazy. $12.5M? Goes to show you that NE is having a hell of a time attracting FAs without Brady.
  12. Yeah, I can see where you’re coming from. Think we all make mistakes, but how long must we hang this over his head for? At what point is the debt repaid, especially if his past behavior has been remediated?
  13. I want Boogie at #30. He’ll be a quality EDGE for a long time. Could see a case made for CB at #61 however. Pedigree needs to be factored in..
  14. I really liked how New England’s offense looked with Gronk and Hernandez. We obviously run the Erhardt-Perkins offense, the same one they were running back then. I think by having two big bodied TEs on the field our passing game would open up, as well as the running game and coincidentally the play action as well, which Allen thrives at.
  15. Hunter Henry would be epic. Especially because there’s a good chance that Knox may come along. That would be a great wrinkle to show on offense, we would probably be able to run the ball better that way too.
  16. Me likes Hunter Henry. Go EDGE in the draft..
  17. Yep, I had that problem for years but I’ve got about 4 years of sobriety now. Not an easy thing to do but my faith in God made it possible for me. 🙏
  18. And then they get cut because that team sucks, so they really never end up seeing all the money.
  19. Well, most of those games were from last year (15 games) I think. Before that he was pretty durable.
  20. Well, we’d have to rework some contracts, but he would be a really good option.
  21. Fair enough. I just get the idea that there’s lots of friction between Star and this front office. Didn’t make sense financially for the Raiders to cut Brown neither. We’re going on almost 2 years now without Star playing football, I just get the sense that he’s lazy and not very driven. COVID sucks, but you can just as easily get it in a restaurant or a night out than you could on a football field.
  22. Sometimes players are cut on principle and not because of financial logistics.
  23. I would offer him a contract with zero guaranteed. If we are able to draft a better option, cut him and if we can’t, let him return kicks for another year.
  24. Hey, you can say what you want but he is the former #2 overall pick and ACL injuries aren’t what they used to be. He could easily return to form and lead the league in rushing. Better than anyone we could get at #61.
  25. He’s missed 17 games over 2 seasons and is coming off a torn ACL. The Giants are debating on whether to pick up his 5th year option or not or whether to extend him to a long term deal. Would you guys inquire about him if you were Brandon Beane? Think a 2nd would get it done?
