Well, the police will probably ask them when it happened, where and what time. If these women lie about this or if the information they provide is not accurate, they could face legal trouble. If X accuser says it happened on a Monday in 2019 but it turns out that Watson was having lunch with his girlfriend or working with a team trainer that day, obviously we would rightfully assume that that person is a liar. Of course they may say they don’t remember and blah blah but they’d lose all credibility at that point... Now if these women come forward with dates, times and locations that all check out, this could get really really ugly for Watson.

Yes, sir. Now what happens if X woman says that Watson assaulted her at such and such location at such and such time but it turns out he was really at practice or working with his trainer? Hopefully Watson keeps a detailed log/journal of his schedule, that would be one way of proving some of his accusers wrong.

I hear ya.. I know statistically speaking most women don’t lie about this sort of thing BUT most women aren’t suing men who are worth millions upon millions of dollars. I’m interested to know the relationships between these women and Watson. Dates, times, locations etc and I’m interested to see what will happen when they get fact checked. Any woman who is lying should face criminal charges of their own.

So it sounds like this guy has value as an H-back/FB. Something this offense sorely missed last year. It also sounds like he can add some depth behind Dawson Knox. Wouldn’t rule out Tommy Sweeney and I wouldn’t rule out a 4th TE. I’m hopeful that we can run some bigger sets next year, depth at TE is a must.

I think a 5k season for Allen will happen, but I don’t think it’ll happen this year. I don’t think Brady hit 5k until his 7th or 8th season. I expect an elite season, but not a historical one. I hope he proves me wrong, but I certainly feel like if we don’t win the Super Bowl this year, Allen would be the last person on the team you’d blame.

Levi is better than people think. I consider him to be a pretty good corner in this defense. He’s no Revis Island or anything but he isn’t going to get us killed either. May give up a few small plays but doesn’t get beat like a drum.

I don’t know, the timing of this is really strange. He wanted out of Houston and all of a sudden these allegations come forth? I find that really strange. I need to see evidence that backs up these claims, I’m not saying it didn’t happen but you got to admit that the timing is peculiar. I’m going to wait and see if these women have any undeniable proof, until then I’m going to try and keep an open mind. Some of these women may have actually had voluntary sex with Watson and now they see an opportunity to cash in.

$3M maybe $4M with injury clauses. Say what you want but he adds elite speed. Fans wanted Marquise Goodwin back, why not Sammy? If it works out the right way he can contribute. Obviously his stock is low, don’t overpay, just make the numbers work. Waaaaay better option than McKenzie although that’d be freaking great if we got him back too.

I’m right there with you. If the $$$ is right, I would love to see him back.

Who knows? Maybe you find yourself in a Matt Cassel situation? It’s possible. He has a decent arm, not great but okay, good enough. He had pretty solid production at Georgia. If you remember, some had him as a RD2 pick and he slipped for various reasons. Personally I think Josh is elite, I’m a big fan of his, but if you can develop players like Fromm and Trubisky behind him we’re just going to end up with more draft picks. Their combined salary is like $3M. Who cares?

I’m not so sure about that. You could be right, obviously it doesn’t take a mathematician to calculate the odds of Fromm being a starting NFL QB or not, but that doesn’t mean you don’t load the pipeline and develop players behind Josh. Who knows? You might get lucky.

He’s only going to get better, make him happy.

Trubisky is superior, better everything. I think he took less money to play here because he wants to audition for a starting job somewhere if Allen goes down. Here he will have a solid OL and great weapons, he likely wouldn’t of had that had he went to a marginal team. I think he was mishandled early on in his career and I think he views Buffalo as a stable option for him. He’s an accurate passer and he has a better arm than Barkley, younger and more experienced, similar price tag. Also, I would not give up on Fromm quite yet, I think he sticks around. Still a solid prospect to groom. We’re stacked at QB.

Trubisky keeps this team competitive if Allen goes down for 3-4 weeks. Very accurate, gets the ball out quickly, takes care of the ball.. Pretty much a perfect fit for the Erhardt-Perkins offense. Premium backup, I’d argue that he’s a better player than Cam. Trubisky has never had weapons like this.. I mean, Diggs, Sanders and Beasley.. their strengths as receivers play well into what Trubisky does well as a QB. This could turn into future draft picks... if not you have a great backup for years to come. Our season is over if Barkley ever saw the field for an extended time, Trubisky can manage games and keep us in it.

Unless we get Ertz.

I don’t think so, not necessarily. He could be a great developmental prospect. What would you do if you could sign a talent like Trubisky for $2.5M? Trubisky could potentially yield future draft picks if this plays out a certain way.

I hope so. Hopefully it means a deal is getting close.

If we don’t get Ertz, I think it’s pretty obvious that we’ll be drafting a TE this year. I do think Knox will improve, I do like his potential and I do think Sweeney may actually turn out to be decent. But no Lee Smith, no Tyler Kroft, we clearly have an obvious void there. Would love Ertz.

I’m not going to pretend like this wouldn’t help them. Mims, Davis and JuJu is a solid 1-2-3 punch but in the end it doesn’t matter, they won’t catch the Bills.
