Neither Kiper nor Mcshay have ever been employed as football talent evaluators. Ie a scout. Kiper is a hard worker and has good connections, but he has no skill at evaluating players himself. He tells you what nfl scouts tell him mcshay is simply clueless, and pretends that he knows what he is doing as a talent evaluator. Just like any craft, you learn football talent evaluation from the ground up. And being held responsible for your evaluations. these guys aren’t that. Pretending these guys know what they’re doing as a GM would be like pretending some random TV reality show star like Kim Kardashian would be able to do a good job as president of the US.

Disagree with letting up because it looks like a runner is going out of bounds. How many times have you seen this exact scenario and the runner DOESNT go out of bounds but turns upfield for a big gain. If im the coach I tell my players anyone on the field of play gets tackled.

Delay of games shouldn't be dependent on the officials reaction time. The electonics exist to make it an auto flag if clock hits zero.

How often have have we seen a team with home field, everything wrapped up, rest starters and lose their first playoff game.? i think we want to keep the core sharp. Pending minor injury, bad field conditiOne, I'd play starters 1-2 quarters to keep them sharp, then put in backups. Yes, it's an injury risk. But getting stale is also a risk.

Anyone notice that Bass had a few kickoffs tonight where he took just one step before kicking the ball, and it was fielded in play--at about the 5 yd line. Then toward the end of the game, he took the customary 3-4 steps and kicked it into the end zone. Was he simply trying to give the kick coverage team some live reps?
