Copy pasted this from last nights thread. “Just rewatched the Hamlin hit in end zone. By rule, the roughness call may be correct. But ejection was a bad call. Here’s what happens. Pat WR catches ball in air, returns to ground. Then, he lowers his head, as he is anticipating Hamlin hit. So he’s NOT really defenseless. Makes a move to protect himself by getting lower. Problem was, by getting lower, he ducks his head right into Hamlins shoulder pad. If he hadn’t ducked, Hamlin shoulder would have hit his chest, not his head. Hamlin didn’t lead with helmet. Hamlin didn’t launch. Bad call. “

Did you know he graduated from Harvard? -
The quote from Marv is good. he’s saying that part of luck is random “the opportunity”, but part is non random “preparation”. If a deflected ball bounce to you, that’s (mostly) random. If youve trained yourself to always be alert to the possibility of deflected balls and done enough tip drills, that’s where preparation comes in.

Actually, I think this is pretty meaningful info. Anecdotally, it seems that kickers never miss against us, andWR don’t drop balls, but make highlight reelctches I don’t think all these categories are complete luck, for instance, a great D always has a lot of players rallying to the ball. luck has a way of regressing to the mean, which is good news for Bills fans.

Ahh, not the exact same thing. 3 of 4 signed players have played for 5he Bills recently, so presumably can get up to speed quickly.
-
Actually, I think they could have done that an infinite number of times. After a few times, I guess the officials could have started calling unsportsmanlike conduct penalties and begin kicking players out of the game for having two unsportsmanlike calls. But the offense only needs one Offside penalty and the game would be over. if it was the Pats I think that’s exactly what they would have done. And instead of a fumble, we’d be hearing how smart Bellichek was, and how well he understood the rule book.

Can’t be reliable if you’re not on the field. TJ hasn’t missed a game. To be clear, when healthy, Poyer, Hyde, and White are all better players than TJ.
-
Don’t know what you’ve been watching. TJ has been our most reliable secondary player this year.

Ahhh, gotta say I agree with you (mostly). Epenesa has been a bit of a disappointment. He was really good at Iowa, so I was glad when Bills got him in second round. He's just a different player now. At Iowa, he had a tremendous bull rush, but not in NFL. I dont know if he's lost strength or what. Still probalby Bills 3rd best DE, just not a real difference maker at this time.

Dr. Jekyl, Mr. Hyde review of the Sean McDermot
pennstate10 replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
This post is basically nonsense. Couple of points. 1) There is no way of assessing whether or not the Bills have the best “team chemistry” in the NFL. But you know this for sure because ….. ?why? Your “gut” says so? Maybe that’s just a bad 7-11 burrito. 2) 19 yr before McDermott. No playoffs. With McD. 3 of 4 yrs in playoffs. Yeah, let’s replace him with RexRyan. -
Yeah,I noted that. For an “elite” gunner, Jones seems to have zero effect on any games.

Lolz. Back in the last century, there was this moron mouthpiece at wgr. Coach Dickerson. A former nfl coach who was fired and could no longer get an nfl job, so his job was to insult marv levy on wgr. He had the same attitude. Would rather have a loudmouth moron than a soft spoken guy who knew what he was doing. Call me crazy, but I think you’d be a “Coach” disciple.

Diggs caught complaining to McDermott on broadcast
pennstate10 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Disagree. The only way one can have an intelligent comment on Diggs targets is to view the All 22 AND know the play that was called. Maybe he wasn’t targeted because the primary receiver on the play was open and thrown to. Maybe he wasn’t targeted because he wasn’t open. Think it through. -
Ah, I’m guessing you can find similarly priced real estate in the Fruit Belt.

Wawrow hints an Internal Issues with the Bills
pennstate10 replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
Doesn’t do a damn thing for you.? hey, I know hindsight is 50/50 (as Hank Bullough once said) But if Bills had taken the FG, the drive after the end zone fumble would have been for the game winning, not game tying FG. -
You’ve got no idea what you’re talking about. Landry won 2 super bowls with cowboys. then got let go by jj and never coached in the nfl again

Any other conclusion than this is on the coaches, is just wrong
pennstate10 replied to cgg716's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is complete bull####. coaches didn’t put Lewis in position to knock a ball down and win the game? Coaches didn’t put Allen i n position to gain 1 yd on a QB sneak, or at least not fumble? Coaches didn’t put Allen in position to throw 3 safe passes and then kick a tying FG? Coaches didn’t put Lewis in position to stop an 81 yd run? Listen dude, it’s crystal clear. You’re simply wrong.
