  1. "If he was there" doesn't necessarily mean the first round. Thank you for posting this.
  2. I posted this in the draft thread earlier...but I think it deserves its own attention. So sad. This kid is going to be playing for his Mom moving forward.
  3. I think based on what Beane said about teams wanting to trade up, the Giants felt they needed to get higher than 30 to make sure another team didn't jump them. Watching NFL LIVE, multiple QB needy teams had Dart as the second best QB behind Ward. Wouldn't surprise me if Tyler Shough from Louisville or even Jalen Milroe are the next QBs off the board. Sanders is viewed as non-mobile.
  4. This is very sad.
  5. They took the speed! I'm good.
  6. They'll take Simmons.
  7. Feck the Lions.
  8. Lamar will still F it up in the playoffs.
  9. Looks like the Bills won't be able to trade down, unless Cleveland wants a QB.
  10. Good...Mahomes has to face them twice.
  11. I hate the Dolphins!
  12. If Jets are smart, they go oline.
  13. Travis Hunter. The unicorn.
  14. Watching it now. Lots of interesting stuff.
  15. I knew Aaron Maybin would be a bust, even as an avid Penn State fan. I just saw him as too immature. I also disliked Boogie Basham. I took note of Josh Rosen the first game of the UCLA season prior to the draft and liked him. But as the season went on, I realized UCLA was winning in spite of him, not because of him. Did not like his demeanor. Not so with Josh Allen. I knew he would be a winner. The guy screamed team with every game! I held my breath hoping to hear Allen and not Rosen in the 2018 draft. Then I enjoyed the back and forth between Kiper and McShay in the aftermath.
  16. Congratulations to the UB Women's Basketball Team ...WNIT Champions! 🏆
  17. She's been like a dog with a bone with trading early picks to move up and draft a wide receiver! 😄
  18. I don't know. I watch it daily and I think there are times when they question some of the Bills moves and are quick to point out their weaknesses. Today's discussion for example...a caller suggested (as she has almost daily for the last two weeks) that the Bills use their early picks in the draft to move up and get that "deep threat wide-receiver that they need." Tasker then in response, pointed out that the Bills offense is not the problem...that they scored the most points in the league, etc. The early picks should be used to bolster the defense...both the d-line and the secondary. They ranked 29th defensively in 3rd down conversion. The defense is in the most need of better players...difference makers, as Chris Brown pointed out. Tasker admitted that WR should be a consideration at some point in the draft, but the Defense demands the most emphasis. I think many on this board would agree with that.
  19. Clarification on the salary cap impact. Because Hoecht's deal was finalized, the Bills will get salary cap relief. Because Ofunjobi hadn't signed, the Bills were able to renegotiate prior to signing. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2025/3/21/24390996/explaining-buffalo-bills-salary-cap-impact-of-michael-hoecht-larry-ogunjobi-suspensions
  20. Today on One Bills Live, Chris Brown and Steve Tasker said that the Bills don't get any cap relief from the suspensions. The Bills will save the cash, but the full salaries do count against the cap. ☹️
  21. It doesn't matter. The rule is blanket. If it's found in the players system, it's a 6 game suspension. They don't get into how it got there. Period.
  22. In his Bills presser, he said supplements...and he mentioned testosterone.
  23. That's the rule. For an anabolic substance it's 6 games for the first offense. For a stimulant, diuretic or masking agent, it's two games.
