  1. I'm not at all surprised this deal didn't go through. I don't blame Beane for trying, but at age 30, AB's skills will be on the decline going forward. I also doubt guys like AB or even Tyrell Williams even want to come here. I know I'll get flamed for it, but why would a WR want to play with a QB that throws so many off target passes? I think the Jets would have a better shot at it.
  2. Only for the right price, but he'd be a definite upgrade over Murphy and Shaq. I was hoping he'd shake loose last year. Why not offer them Trent Murphy and a 3rd? That probably wouldn't do it, but that's as far as I'd go.
  3. 2 independent views: On a PFF draft review, one of the 2 reviewers was very high on Teller while also saying Edmunds should have been a day 3pick. I don't know if you have any faith in Madden raters, but his overall rating went from 60-something to 75 by season's end while Miller's is a 74.
  4. Robert James -- The most underrated Buffalo Bill of all time.
  5. I think DK's stock went up after the combine. As far as the pick at 9 is concerned, I hope it's Ed Oliver.
  6. How can any team be in "strong pursuit" of him before the 13th? Isn't that against league rules? What is allowed before the FA period starts with him? For the record, I consider T Williams an average to good starting WR, but nowhere near elite. Let's hope DK is there at 9 and he can live up to the hype. I see that some posters aren't sold on Metcalf, though.
  7. All 3 got off to a slow start to their careers, but came on when their rookie contracts were almost expired. I'm not saying they are going to turn out like Dareus, but that does make me suspicious. I don't want the Bills to trade away any day 1 or 2 picks either.
  8. Just curious. What's your beef with Teller?
  9. Heck, let's just get crazy. Sign Zeitler, Paradis, Saffold and Williams LOL. Oh and all at the right price while we're dreaming about it. I'd be delirious and so would Shady. Draft WR in the 1st and a RB in the 2nd or 3rd. Please don't wake me up from this dream before the 13th.
  10. Paradis is one of the best C's in the NFL. I can't think of a better one besides Frederick or Hudson. Am I overlooking anyone? To put this in perspective, I plugged in Madden 19 and Bodine is rated a 71 overall. Paradis is rated a 88. If we're going to overpay for anyone in FA, let it be him. Let's get our ground attack going again.
  11. Ryquell Armstead on day 3. He's a FB that has also played RB and had a 1,000 yard season for Temple. He'd be a nice upgrade at FB. He only weighs about 225, though. He might need to add a few lbs to be a more effective lead blocker, but he could be more effective as an occasional runner and receiver than DiMarco. I'd like to also see day 3 picks for a punter and a really good return man if there is someone. Gunners can be value picks in rounds 6 and 7 too. I think Steve Tasker proved that.
  12. Move Lo to DE? Maybe, but he's listed at 245. Do you think he'd want to add 10-20 lbs for 1 last season? I don't know if he'd be too thrilled about that move since he just had what was arguably his best season. I'd still like to have Barr for the long term, though.
  13. Hockenson can catch, run and block. He's not going to blow you away with speed, but he still has the tools to be an effective weapon for Allen. Additionally, I think that getting the ground attack going again should be a top priority and that starts up front. We're not going to win a lot of games with Josh Allen throwing the ball more than 30 times. We've got to be able to pound the rock.
  14. It's Bills or never mind, but I do like to see former Bills doing well with their new teams.
  15. Quinn had a decent season, but I wouldn't overpay him since Hughes is better and Quinn is not much better than Murrphy or Shaq. I'd pay for an elite talent at LDE, but Quinn is no longer elite. Injuries have taken their toll on him.
  16. I'd love to see Josh Sitton here!
  17. Multiple injuries already. His numbers are insane, but he kinda reminds me of CJ -- great in college, but only 1 great year in the NFL.
  18. Much ado about nothing. Of course he understands this.
  19. I certainly wouldn't be interested in trading up to 3, but if we don't sign Kyle's replacement in FA, 9 is a good spot to be sitting in. We need a real impact player at that spor.
  20. McDermott did not scout, grade or draft Jones or anyone else that offseason. That's not his job, but sure, he's consulted. I'm amazed that some folks are so confused about this. Also, if your contention that McDermott won't release a player he ordered either Whaley or Beane to sign because he's too vain to admit that he made a mistake is true, then Kelvin Benjaman would still be on our roster. I apologize if that comes off as brash. I just disagree with the comment you made.
  21. Well, don't that suck when your QB ranks 33rd in accuracy in a 32 team league LOL.
  22. Josh does not have very good accuracy. Even on shorter patterns, receivers are having to adjust to poor placement rather than catching the ball in stride and in balance. It's true that our receivers dropped a lot of passes, but a good part of the blame for that rests with Josh. He is exceptional in other aspects, so I really hope he can improve this part of his game. I wonder if he doesn't need to break down his delivery and build it back up. Maybe he needs to sacrifice a little delivery speed for increased accuracy.
  23. Crabtrees physical skills are nothing special, but he has a very high 'football IQ'. Cook is on the wrong side of 30, but is still a very good TE that I'd love on a 2 year deal.
  24. There doesn't seem to be too much of a shortage of talent for WR's in the league, so I think reality will bring his price tag down, but I can see us getting 3 quality starters in FA if we can convince them that the Bills are on the rise. If not, we'll be aiming for 2020 to field a team with a legitimate shot at a SB.
