  1. The last few weeks I feel like a light has gone on for Josh, and I am thrilled to see it. For the first time in his career I seen him fully trust the offense and realize he can score 40+ by just running the plays end not trying to ad-lib big plays all the time. I think what I found most exciting, as silly as it sounds, was Josh consistently throwing a 5 yard pass on 3rd and 4. also, thrilled to pound the phins. Their fans really needed a reality check…
  2. Can’t sustain offense when a majority of the successful passing plays happen outside the framework of the play design. A lot of this falls on Dorsey, but an equal amount falls on Allen. This has been a problem for years, even when Daboll was here (although to a lesser extent). Allen is my favorite professional alrhlete of all time, but I’m afriad he may not have the elite processing needed to be anything more then one of the best backyard football QB’s ever.
  3. I feel pessimistic about our ability to stop the run.
  4. I just mean that the issues between diggs/josh were more emotional/personal as they were close.
  5. Where I live there are a few bills players. Over the last 5 years I have gotten close with one of the players. We are in a men's group.
  6. They did not. I know they had not spoken at all as of a month ago. This is happening now because it was the first time they had to all be together.
  7. For those who think its Dorsey, you are part right. But the big emotional issue is with Josh. I'm sure it will get smoothed over eventually, it has to - too much money involved. However, Josh is done with acquiescing to Diggs and his Tantrums, so this will be a bump in their relationship. Diggs has been truly checked for the first time in his tenure here, that will take a minute for him to deal with. Hopefully it ends up being a positive in the long term team dynamic....or it will be the beginning of a temultous relationship between the Bills and Diggs.
  8. The point is that people are still rationalizing that its not a problem, and there is not drama. My point in posting is that there is, and I'm not just saying that now, I have been saying it.
  9. I posted here multiple times stating I have personal knowledge of the Diggs/Josh/Team feud and was ridiculed by some who did not want to believe how serious it was. Welp, hate to say I told you so.
  10. Simms basically said that it was wrong for Tua to donate the money to the tragically deceased man’s family because the man was negative (trolled) him on twitter.
  11. While I enjoy listening to Chris Simms at times (maybe because he is generally positive about all things Bills), he is absolutely narcistic and egotistical. Dude thinks he is the smartest guy in the every room. I saw the whole piece, and he looks like a child for letting his silly twitter dispute be the story instead of the heartache of the tragic lose of husband and father of young children and the generous donation Tua made. Grow up Chris Simms, you should be ashamed, although I doubt a guy like that ever would be.
  12. Question in general: how much do you think existing players are aware of the teams/GM’s interest in free agents (or potential trade opportunities? I’m curious if all the public recruiting of guys like OBJ/Hopkins is and indication of the teams interest or if these recruiting efforts are rogue.
  13. Believe me or not, no biggie, but I have first hand knowledge of their relationship. For years Josh has walked on eggshells with Diggs -despite them being quite close. Josh wants to win bad, and felt like he needed Diggs locked in and feeling good to accomplish that, so he often eats the “sh1t sandwich” instead of checking Diggs. Josh worries that if he checks Diggs too much, Diggs will view that as a personal attack and will check out on the team. I think it would have been different if Josh were older/more established when Diggs got here. They are like a couple who were immature when they met and have bad habits.
  14. I also get incredibly annoyed when people criticize a pick and say “ if you were gonna take that guy, they should have traded down”. It’s like obviously they either didn’t have that option or they weren’t sure their guy would be there if they traded down. Too many people think all GM’s follow kipers draft board or something.
  15. IMO you two are both right and wrong. I think the comp to Jefferson is accurate, I don’t know what LSU games you were watching, but Chase absolutely looked like a superstar and Jefferson looked like a solid/dependable chain mover. His transition to the NFL has far exceeded his optics at LSU. With they being said, i watched quite a bit of Addison (mostly at usc) and I was underwhelmed. To me, thinking Addison could be Jefferson is like thinking every talented 5’11 200 Lb qb will be drew Brees and even 6’5 athletic freak with mediocre accuracy will be Josh Allen. Those dudes break norms, they don’t create them.
  16. Seems like a good enough dude, but not going to miss him on the field. He simply was not consistent/dependable enough to fill his role, and didn't have elite playmaking to make up for mental lapses. Adios amigo.
  17. Feel a bit bad for the guy.. He was a good soldier and didn't hold out last year. Probably cost him a lot of money.
  18. Did the pats give Juju the same exact contract that Jakobi meyers got in LV?
  19. Elite Qb’s and offenses are too good for the Frazier defense. It is incredibly effective against the majority of teams, but when the games count, against often elite QB play, the scheme gets torched. Give me an attaching defense. We have the offense (and QB) to play that style. We can score if we give up the occasional big play in pursuit of pressures/sacks/interceptions and overall confusion.
  20. Buffalo is always in a tough spot recruiting. Taxes are real. Often the high tax teams (CA teams, NYC, ect) come with mitigating factors such as weather, big market, “quality of life”, ect. Buffalo, unfortunately, has the taxes without some of the offsets. Always going to be a challenge to recruit.
  21. For what it's worth, Drue is good friends with Matt Barkley. However, i know he and his family Love being in socal.
  22. I haven’t heard much about Dorsey or Frazier. I don’t get the sense he like to talk poorly about current players/coaches. The player is an offensive player and one thing that is interesting is he said that if he has an option to play for daboll im the future, he would love to. He said daboll is the best coach he ever had (he said this last off-season, before it was as obvious how good a coach Daboll is). He hasn't said much about specific needs but he said that the bills biggest offensive problem is the lack of efficiency at getting 6-8 yards when they just need to move the chains. He said that skill is what made Brady the Goat, and what the bengals and chiefs do at a much higher level than we do. He said he wasn’t sure whether Josh, other personnel, or scheme where most to blame for this.
  23. whatever dude. Just sharing what I’m hearing from a roster player, Like I said, I don’t give a rip if you think it’s not true.
  24. Believe me or not- I don’t really care. However, I am friends with a current bills player. The beef between Josh and Diggs is real. They had a big blow up in the immediate aftermath of the bengals game. The player said their relationship is, and has been, “interesting”. They can be like brothers, but Josh walks on eggshells with Diggs and often has to “be the bigger person” in their spats, largely to keep the peace and keep the offense in tact. For what it’s worth, the player said that there seems to be wearing on Josh and he is starting to push back, which may put a permanent strain on their relationship.
